This pram is very easy and light to push. Stylish and comfortable

    • Weaknesses:

Can get stuck on some small bumps eg a low curb that other pushchairs would just go over

This pram is brilliant. So easy and light to push, can lie down/sit up easy and was great for my baby from birth. The hood has an extension bit for more shade for little one. The hood/footmuff is great because you can buy more another colour pack if you wish to change the colour for a second child for example. It’s really strong and sturdy with a very spacious basket underneath. Can adjust the height of the handles very easy. The weeks can sometimes get stuck on small bumps that you think it might just go over but easily tilted up onto curbs etc. Also the cup holder can stick out quite a bit but you don’t have to have it attached. I tend to only attach it when I have a drink there and not leave it on all the time. 100% recommend this pram my daughter still fit in it well and she’s a tall 18months and I expect it will last her a lot longer.

If the front wheels were built to be stronger and less flimsy this would be a perfect pram. All in all im happy with it and im happy to be seen out and about it with. Its great value for money if you go for the full travel system.

Overall the pram is ideal as it isn’t heavy, it’s easy to fold and store, the travel system element is really good, it would be perfect if the wheels were a bit more sturdy.

    • Strengths:

The pushchair is able to be used from birth up until 4 years old, even using the car seat

    • Weaknesses:

When going up a curb, there is no bar on the bottom to help you to push and lift it up

I have found the pushchair to be just what I wanted and wished for. We can use the carry cot at the moment for my child which is better and more comfortable for him or if we are popping into the shop, we can just clip on the car seat with the adapters. The hood on the carry cot and pushchair is easy to move up and down. It has a flap at the back which you can peep into the check on the child and has another piece of material, which you can slide up which then shows mesh material, to allow a breeze and air to get into the carry cot/pushchair. The hood also has extra material which you can slide forward to provide extra protection from sun getting into the pushchair.
The pushchair is extremely easy and quick to fold down and fits perfectly in the boot of my car. The carry cot can also be folded flat to provide extra room in the car if needed. My child is always comfortable in the pushchair and it’s easy to put together. The only con to the pushchair is when lifting the pushchair to go up a curb, there is no bar at the bottom of the pushchair which you would normally use, to support you to get it lifted at the front. However, the pushchair is very light so it doesn’t cause a massive problem. Overall I love the pushchair and would recommend it to anyone. I am very happy with my purchase and will be using it for any future children I may have.

The Silver Cross Wayfarer not only looks stylish but is a dream to push and very easy to use. My 2 month old loves it and finds it very comfortable. The apron is lovely and cosy and the hood is huge. It is a great pram if you drive and use it mainly for shopping trips but also copes very well on uneven paths and walks. I don't drive and found it a dream to push. It is a bit tricky to tip to get up curbs but that's got to be a good thing really, and you soon get the knack. Overall I would definitely recommend this pram and is well worth the money.

    • Strengths:

The look of the Chelsea is smart with an executive feel having the tan trim

The Silvercross Wayfarer is stylish and makes you proud to be pushing it. Easy to clean and wipe dow.
the only downfall is the wheels picking up leaves and sludge making it impossible to push. The pram is lightweight and easy to get in and out the car. I have used it on all terrains, it is not the comfiest as no suspension

The pram looks the part and feels great, no complaints on flat tarmac but the minute it’s a bit bumpy or uneven like cobbled paving it’s a nightmare and feels like the wheels are going to snap, also the cushion cover inside has gone really bobbly
  • 4.38/5
    • Strengths:

Easy to open and fold up and doesn’t take up too much space

    • Weaknesses:

Not good when not on the pavement and over bumps in road

Brought this buggy from a baby show with my first child and still using with my second but have also purchased a second hand mountain buggy as this pram is not good if the pavement isn’t a flat surface. It does not cope well off road and also a bolt came loose when using a lot on grass. Great buggy and sturdy but not good if you camp or walk round fields etc.

I absolutely love my silvercross wayfarer pram. I have the buggy, pram and car seat. Its so easy to move around with one hand when needed, folds up well and a fairly good size as it fits in my Citroen c1! And is so so easy to collapse. Its ideal.

I bought this buggy because is looking nice and small perfect for city but the carrycot is good only until 4 months because is too small and narrow and the baby won't fit until 6 months as advertised and the pushchair is uncomfortable for the baby because he can't lie flat to rest or stretch and because I had to start using the pushchair from 4 months I'm scared for my baby's health because is to small to sit and he can damage his spine.

I fell in love with the look of this pram and have had several compliments on it whilst using it. It is easily adapted to grow with my child and we found the transition from the laying flat carry cot to the more grown up seat simple. The car seat clips on easily with adapters and we got the sun parasol too which fits on effortlessly. The only downsides to this pram is the weak frame proves getting up and down kerbs difficult especially whilst trying to hold onto elder siblings hand. Also it is easy to fold up but it doesn't fold very flat with the seat on so have to take it apart who h takes up a fair amount of boot space in the car.

    • Strengths:

There are many strengths to this pushchair but my most favourite is that it grows with your child.

    • Weaknesses:

The silvercross wayfarer is a must have in my opinion. I loved this pushchair as it grows with your child but not only that it is also very quick and easy to transition from car seat to carrycot or carrycot to main seat. I also love that it come in a wide range of colours with matching accessories. Another great point is the huge basket underneath give you plenty of extra storage space for the many baby item required to take on our travels. The manoeuvring and extending handle is also an amazing feature meaning all family member can getting involve pushing baby around in comfort. Whilst baby is relaxed in a soft, big open aired seat/carrycot with lots of space.

When I started pram shopping I liked this from the beginning. I loved that the car seat fitted on with the adaptors and we got good use of the carry cot. The only down side is my frames been sent back 3 times due to constant squeaking with the wheels and still does the same. Apart from that absolutely love this pram really nice to push.

We got our silvercross wayfarer in sand. It’s a beautiful product and we have had lots of compliments on it too. The linings are so soft for the baby and the material is so sturdy and you can tell it’s not cheap. Only issue we have noticed is when tilting up the pram it’s difficult to begin with but you get the hang of it and with your foot on the basket you’ll get it up no problems.
The basket underneath is handy too, managed to fit a lot of stuff underneath too. Also comes with a drinks holder to, meaning which you don’t need to juggle you coffee on those early mornings!

Beautiful pram, buggy and car seat set, all 3 are easily interchangeable onto the base, can attach rain cover to provide and buggy section so eliminates the need for multiples. Only downside is complete lack of suspension (going over anything not smooth you have to go at a snails pace to avoid baby being bounced about).

The pram is beautiful and has a great design. The pram colour is easy to change and doesn't cost a lot of money to change. Accessories for the silver cross are rather cheap (cheaper than other prams). I don't think this pram is suitable for all weather's (especially snow) because the wheels are very stiff. The height of the handle bars is very easy to change and the breaks are easy to switch on and off. The pram is very easy to fold up and it is very light to carry.

I fell in love with this pram as soon as I saw it.
It’s very easy to steer, as long as you remember to release the front wheel locks.
The frame is a lot heavier to manoeuvre up curbs than it first seems from the push around at the shop.
Other than that, the quality is amazing, my little one loves the comfort of the bassinet, seat and car seat.

The frame is very easy to collapse, albeit a bit bulky, so if you’re looking for something to fit your boot space, I wouldn’t advise for a small car.

The wayfarer was the best value on the market when we purchased as there was good deal meaning we got all accessories included. We swapped the car seat as we already had the maxi cosi isofix. The adapters were easy to attach meaning we could easily fit the car seat to the base. The carry cot was spacious and comfy although we did not get much use from this as out of did not like to be lay flat. The main issue we had with this pram was when we went walking around the block or into town ... The pram wheels struggled with curbs even the smallest of curbs seemed to be a struggle this meant you would have to lean on the pram to lift up the front two wheels which often woke our light sleeper. This is the only flaw that I can give this pram which other than that met all our needs.

We looked at a lot of different prams. We found the silver cross at our local independent retailer who had an amazing deal on the 10 piece set. I love how easy this is to turn and steer.
The adjustable handle is very helpful as my family is all different heights so very handy as we can all have it at different heights.

Bought this for my newborn. I chose this over a new bugaboo as I fell out with it. So much easier to fold then other prams. Baby basket is roomy, and more comfortable I’m still using this and baby is 10 weeks old. Car seat clips on. And I love the colour options. However the wheel does get caught on old cobbles/small gaps in the road. It really annoys me as this was the only thing I liked about the bugaboo ? good pram but no off roading!!
