I purchased this pram in vintage pink for my little girl. The pram is very easy to steer you can do this with one hand. You can have the handle bar on different settings depending how tall you are. The pram is very easy to attach the car seat or carry cot onto without any fuss. The basket underneath is very strong and sturdy. My 4 year old sits in the basket when she does not want to walk so they are very roomy aswell. The wheels are very strong and are hard wearing. I cannot wait till my baby fits in the seat unit. Also my hood has an extra grey extendable hood underneath so it blocks out more son. The cup holder is very good and easy to take off and put on. The parasol comes with 2 different clips on you can clip on the seat bar and one you can clip onto the frame. I would defiantly recommend this to any mum

I have the silver cross wayfarer Chelsea. The travel system is perfect! When I’m just popping into a shop, it is so easy to attach the car seat onto the wheels. It fits compact in my car boot and definitely looks the part. I always get so many comments on how lovely my pushchair is.

This pram seemed ideal for us, it has the bassinet and a seat unit for when our little one grew up. The bassinet lasted us no longer than 8 weeks as our little one grew a lot, so if you’ve got a baby on the bigger size it won’t last long. My little one was 8lb 10oz when she was born. The seat unit it good however the handle to move the seat to lay it down seems fragile, and it’s really difficult to wipe and keep clean. We’ve had ours since December 2017 and the break sticks on a lot and can take a lot of attempts to take it off, the handle bar sticks too. I’ve heard hear are common faults with the Wayfarer. Which is such a shame as it’s a beautiful pram. I would say it’s more of a City pram than a outdoor type pram and the pavements need to be flat too or the front wheels bend in wards. I probably wouldn’t buy this again if I was to have another baby and I won’t be keeping it either.

Good travel system features and easy to change around between carrycot, car seat and pushchair but wheels could be stronger, I find one wheel spins around as I push and gets caught on the pavement.

This being my first pushchair I brought it was very experience but looks very modern. I love the overall look of the pushchair with both the carry cot and seat very stylish and very easy to wipe clean with the material used. For the price I would expect the frame to be sturdy which it doesn’t feel very. You have to use a lot of force to lift it up to go up cribs and even flat curbs it doesn’t go over very well. When lifting the pram the framework feels very un sturdy and very wobberly. His collapse very easy but is quite bulky. Carry cot is perfect lovely looking and comfortable for the baby. The pushchair seat doesn’t come with the liner you have to buy it separate for £45 which is a bit of a disappointment for how much the pushchair is and the bottom part of the seat sits up high even when you lay the seat down. There is two buttons to make it flat but it rises up again. Over all I would buy another only if the framework was built better.

I had a raspberry wayfarer with my daughter, on appearance I though it looked lovely and had many comments. Having a bright colour also helps with the odd bit of dust or mud the unfortunately makes its way once in the boot. It was very easy to assemble and collapse, and it felt like it was gliding while pushing, can easily be done one handed (which is great for those with toddlers to hold on too)! I found it a little tricky to go up and down curbs or big bumps. All in all I thought this travel system was fantastic it's been on many trips and was great!

Overall this is a fantastic pushchair everything is easy to attach and swap over its very easy to steer and fold the only downside for me is how narrow the carry cot is my lb isn't overly big but at 3 months he is already looking to big for it. The wayfarer looks great and feels it would definitely recommend.

I've had my wayfarer 4.5 years now I brought it for my daughter who is 4 and used it till she out gree it couldn't bear to get rid of it so using aging with my 4 month old out of all the prams/travel systems I've tried over the past 13 years this is by far the best x

The quality of the Silver Cross Wayfair is second to none. Easy to use and fashionable

The Wayfair lives up to the Silver Cross name. It’s easy to use, one of the lighter models especially to lift out of the car. The fact that the car seat fits into the wheel base is fantastic and handy when you just want to nip out and not disturb your sleeping baby. It’s fashionable and smooth and light to push. Our child is now using the seat and it’s great that it fits two ways. She can either sit facing you or away. It’s so easy to change the eating position too, just lift out turn towards or away and click back into place. No fussiness. I love this pushchair and would buy it again tomorrow.

We love our silvercross pram , its easy to set up and comfortable for our little one.
We have the wayfarer pioneer version which has chunkier wheels and find this works well for walks on uneven terrain. It has a good sized hood , essential in warmer weather and a good sized under basket for all the bits and bibs that come with a baby .
    Would most definitely recommend.

I brought this pram as it was highly recommend to me. I was left quite disappointed with the pram, I didn’t find it easy to use at all and had to have the wheels replaced twice as they were unable to move in a certain direction. I feel that for the money I paid for this pram I could of spent less on a different pram and had much better results. For me personally I wouldn’t recommend this pram.

Ok, we loved our silver cross. The carry cot was just lovely and the whole visual design was great. However, when my hold moved into the pushchair seat I had the most stressful day of my life adjusting the straps. It's next to impossible. You have to pull the straps through a tiny hole which doesn't line up with the material, once removed you have to then thread back through the holes higher up. I used knives, scissors, knitting needles everything I could to thread these straps through and it's was do stressful! I thought there must be an easier way but when I rang up, they said that this was the way and the straps should just pull out and thread in easily. Nope!!
Bought a pushchair from Mothercare in the end.

      Sturdy and looks good

Wheels can 'lock' and get stuck when attempting dropped curbs or navigating uneven ground

    • Easy to fold
    • Built to last
Overall I am very happy with my purchase. The pram looks good and fullfills all my basic requirements. I like the choice of colours, and the silver frame looks expensive (although can scratch easily). The pram is built to last but is quite heavy. On the plus side this means that it can hold up to 50lbs in weight (so can also be used with a toddler). The crib section is soft for a newborn and easily comes off the frame. Similarly the seat can be used from 6 months and easily clips on/off. Unless you have a big boot I would not buy the wayfarer as it is bulky.

Downside includes wheels that can sometimes 'lock' when going up dropped curbs and on uneven ground. . . very annoying. If I was to purchase another pram I would likely look for something with 3 wheels not 4.

    • Strengths:

Easy to assemble, will last until baby no longer needs a pram, the pram itself is beautiful!

    • Weaknesses:

The basket isn't very sturdy neither is the base

We bought our pram in sandy beige! It's so light and looks beautiful, it's easy to steer and has swivel wheels. Unfortunately our basket has began to tear considering we spent a lot of money on the pram we figured it was going to last a lot longer than that before starting to rip! It also doesn't feel very sturdy when pushing up a kerb etc, all in all it's a beautiful pram! The carry cot is massive but the pram is small which is perfect when you don't have a lot of space! The car seat fits on perfectly with easy adaptors & 5the toddler part tilts all the way back so perfect for sleepy babies!

    You won't be dissapointed!

On a whole the pushchair is easy to put together. Easy push and easy to fold. Has a cup holder to attach to the frame, comes with rincover in its own special bag. Also the bar on the seat unit is detachable and the seat unit lies back. The pram fabric is wipe clean only. U can buy different colour packs too and comfy seat liners. Only faults I’d say is thst it’s hard to get up the kerb and that the handlebar frame is not very sturdy.

Although I love my Raspberry Wayfarer I get frustrated with not being able to use the basket very well atm since we still have the carrycot on it.
I enjoy pushing it very lightweight however in the bad wind last month that proved to be a massive issue.
It’s very spacious for my little girl and she seems comfortable in there.
However I would say there are probably cheaper ones out there that are just as good.

I love the overall look of this pram but the front wheels really let it down. They twist and can't make it over the slightest bump or up a kerb.
The chassis is also quite large and bulky once folded and it took up my whole boot.
  • 4.50/5
    • Strengths:

I love the look of this pushchair, stylish without being over fussy or too detailed. Being able to alter the height if the handle bar is handy and very easy to do. Love that it can be parent or rear facing. Founds up very easily although it can't be done one handed but I don't find this an issue. Only downside is the small wheels mean you have to tip it to get up even the smallest kerb.

Brilliant pushchair. Very easy to steer and adjust handles height. It’s very sturdy even with my 3 yr old it wasn’t too heavy or flimsy. The only difficulty I had was finding taxis with boots big enough to accommodate the base and pushchair

Fantastic pushchair for on a road/ pavement. It’s not so great for going across the grass as everything gets caught in the wheels which can cause them to get stuck (in hindsight I would have gone for the Pioneer with the bigger wheels for dog walks and going to the park). But overall fantastic value for money. The basket is a great size and much sturdier than some other pushchairs . Carrycot is so secure and comfortable for baby although If you have a tall baby they grow out of it quite quickly but main seat is still great. Frame is so light and fits well in the car. Of all the pushchairs we have tested/used its the easiest to collapse. Great value for money overall!

I absolutely love this travel system. It looks amazing and my son is so comfortable in it. It will last until he is 4 years old and the only pram you need from birth right through. We love going for long walks and can withstand a lot going through woods, cycle tracks and is an ease to push in everyday life. It does struggle a little going over big stones and onto buses, the front wheels when set to swivel can tend to fold in if you don’t get the quite right when lifting the pram. I would still highly recommend this pram to anyone. With the adjustable handle it is great to get into small spaces and for tall parents to push. Covers are easy to wipe down or machine wash. The extra material on the hood is great for keeping the sun out of child eyes. The pushchair can face either way and sits fully up or flat with one pull handle on the back making it really easy. My son finds it so comfortable most of the time it’s the only way we can get him to sleep.
