We love our wave and are so glad we paid that little bit more for it. It’s been used on the beech in the woods and in the city! Our son has loved being in it from birth as much as we have loved using it. Yes it is big and fills your boot but it’s totally worth it! We love the fact we can change it to a double in the future too - Strengths:

You don’t loose the basket when it converts to a double, the base is solid and sturdy

When folded down very big takes up our whole boot (Nissan qashqai)

We bought this buggy when my eldest was 6 months old and we were planning to start trying for the next. As a single the buggy is good, easy to push, the handle is short enough for me (5ft) but extends high enough for my partner to be comfortable pushing (6ft 1). The hood is also very large on the seat section which was great during the summer as meant we got away with not having to by a parasol. However I don’t think the buggy comes into its own until it’s a double.
Even though it’s a not a side by side one you don’t feel like one child has more room than the other. The carrycot anc sear can be put on multiple different ways giving great options, its still very easy to navigate and although large you don’t find yourself struggling that much in shops. However the buggy does have its flaws. For example the frame folded up is very large and not compact we have a Nissan qashqai and once the buggy is in have very little, if any, space left. The rain cover is a nightmare to put on. The extras for the buggy are so expensive the outlay in theory could never stop even though you’ve just paid a grand out for a buggy the extra like a parasol, changing bag, winter footmuff etc etc are very expensive. If your a family on a budget this isn’t the buggy for you. - Strengths:

Bought this for our first born as loved the look. Still love everything about it apart from when trying to go up and down curbs. The pushchair is not very sturdy and unfortunately this has put us off buying another product from silvercross. - Strengths:

I really the love the wave we initially brought it because we knew we would be having two children close together so its great that it comes with car seat, carry cot and seat unit so its ready to use as a double straight away for a young child and a new born. I have used it with carrycot for a few months and its great that you can put your baby in the car seat and click it on and off the pushchair instead of moving the baby from car seat to pushchair seat. It comes in range of colours we have the granite which we love as it goes well for both boys and girls. It is a large pushchair so you will need a big boot to put the frame and seat unit in if your using the seat or carrycot . The good thing about it being a big pushchair is that the child is comfy in the seat and carry cot because there's lost of space . It has a large storage basket with pockets either side a cup holder that clips on and off the side frame if you want a cold or hot drink while out and keeps your hands free to take care of baby . We also got the matching changing bag which hangs nicely on the handles with the leather straps that come with the bag that match the leather on the handle . Evetone always comments on what a lovely pushchair is it its a strong durable pushchair that looks great as well - Strengths:

Overall I absolutely love my silver cross pram. It’s soo easy to set up and use. It easily fits in my car boot without struggle and my car is quite small.
It has an adjustable handle on it which is great as I am short and my partner is taller so he is able to heighten the handle.
Money well spent.
Highly recommend. - Strengths:

I adore this pram it looks so classy and is really practical. You can purchase adapters for another child seat to make the system work for growing family. Although it is large you can remove the back wheels so can fit more easily in to a smaller boot. Heavy to lift but makes it sturdy and good on all terrains. Good size basket for shopping with hidden pockets for smaller items. Comfy pram and car seat can be added and removed easily. - Strengths:

I fell in love with this pram straight away, first pram I saw walking into the shop, looked at others but my mind was made! I love it, I get so many comments from all age groups saying how nice my pram is, it’s really nice to drive, smooth (with the big back wheels) I’ve only used the cot part so far which I chose as my baby sleeps in this through the day in the house, she loves it, nice and big well padded, I love the large underneath storage too, my down side to the pram is not the prawns fault, I live in a terraced house (not much room) with large outdoor stairs, I struggle to get the pram in and out due to the weight and size.
I took it out when it was raining, the rain cover is amazing and my baby loved the sound the rain made on the pram, it also comes with a insect net which is great
I have noticed the inside of the cot part (it’s white) is getting mucky with people putting their hands in, I have not found away to clean it yet, it does all unclip so I’m guessing just hand wash, I chose the blue wave and I love the colours together - beautiful!
really pleased with my chose and don’t regret it - Strengths:

Fantastic sturdy pram. You got so much for your money including rain covers and bug nets for both the carry cot and seat.
We have a dog and live in the countryside. We picked this pram as it looked sturdy enough to cope with a bit of off roading. Well it’s been out through it’s paces and is still in great condition. The wheels hace proved great when out and about.
The carry cot is excellent quality, lots of finer details that make it feel a little bit more luxurious.
Downside I’d say is it does need a lot of space folded, you can’t collapse with the pushchair part attached it is to be removed.

This pram is extremely well built and very sturdy. It also looks beautiful.
- Weaknesses:
Large and heavy chassis

This pram is overall fantastic. The sturdiness of the chassis means the curbs and even ground are no problem. It’s appearance is smart and I have had no end of comments on how beautiful the pram looks. The leather handle is hard wearing and easy to clean. All components to the pram are well made and appear to be long wearing.
The only weakness of this pram is the weight. The chassis is heavy and quite bulky, however I would take it being heavier in order for it to remain so strong. - Strengths:

Ok so I have the pioneer frame. Purchased as I planned to do lot of walking once baby was here. The pram is a nightmare going up and down any kerbs or slight cracks in the road! Considering the frame is meant to be designed for 'off roading' I am really disappointed by this.
The sun hood does not extend down as much as other prams so I bought the parasol at nearly 50 pound. What a waste of.money! I had to stop and re position constantly. I have now opted for a €6 sun shade from eBay which does the trick
The pram is super easy to assemble and disassemble and I can even open up the frame 1 handed. There is a nice size basket however completely inaccessible with the carry cot on. Much better when inside the car seat.
The pram is lovely to look at but so big and bulky! How we managed a weekend away I the car is beyond me?!
I didn't get the car seat so I and comment however the reason I didn't get the car seat is that it hasn't had great reviews.
If you're looking for a lovely looking pram this is the one....if you want practicality...it is not - Strengths:

This being my 4th double pram, I was almost ready to give up trying to find one suitable. That being said I'm glad I didn't as I love it, I'm a mum of 3, two toddlers and a baby, we like to get out (a lot) so a good reliable pram is an essential for all the walking we do. My favourite thing about this pram is how easy it is to manoeuvrer, I can push this pram (with two children in it) one handed. This is a big thing for me as it frees up my other hand. Mostly I feel as though I'm pushing a single, I can even get it on the bus! Both my children are very comfortable in their seat and carrycot, they love being in it. - Strengths:

After many hours of testing pushchairs prior to the arrival of my baby, I opted for the Silver Cross Wave. Not only because it looks chic, but its very robust and versatile.
I opted for the full Wave range including the Simplicity car seat. One thing I noticed when trying other brands of pushchair, is that when the car seat is attached using universal fittings, the seat tended to wobble and didn't feel secure. With the Wave, it instantly felt safer. The only drawback of the Simplicitiy is the short hood, however I use a universal hood for UVF which works well when needed.
The carrycot fitting for the Wave is multifunctional and should you take a trip away, your baby is safe to sleep in it with multiple air vents. It is also lined with luxury padding which I noticed wasn't in most other carrycots of this price range. The carrycot also comes with a mosquito net & rain cover.
The pushchair fitting also has a great padded lining and comes with a thick footmuff for winter and clip on cover for warmer weather. It has multiple settings for lying your baby back when sleeping and a peep window in the hood. The pushchair can also be both forward and backward facing. This too has both the fly net and rain cover.
You have the option of having both the carrycot and pushchair on the chassis if you have more than one child, and can double up on both options for twins.
The shopping basket is big and has pockets should you wish to store anything.
The sun parasol is also great for use on all fittings.
The Wave is also great for tall and short people.
All in all, really pleased with this pushchair and would highly recommend to anyone. - Strengths:

We brought this pram in the Brompton colour which is exclusive to Mothercare (unfortunately). It’s a lovely pram that feels nice and solid when pushing it. It’s super easy to change from the bassinet to car seat. We haven’t used the upright seat yet as our little one is only 3 months old.
The only downside to this pram for me is the size of it once folded. It fits perfectly in our BMW but I was unable to get it in my dad’s boot - he has a Nissan Juke.
I’ve had lots of compliments on my pram and would definitely buy Silvercross again! - Strengths:

This pram is really lovely, it’s lovely to look at, lovely to push and very comfortable for the babies.
It has many different configurations so there will be an option to suit everyone. However to use all configurations you have to purchase extra seats etc which push the already costly price up more.
The chassis is quite heavy (but very stable and secure) so if you are a frequent public transport user then this is not ideal.
Very durable, been bashed around a bit getting in and out of the car and it still looks as new.
As the product is very new it is a struggle to get other products such as buggy boards as they haven’t yet been tested. - Strengths:

Have been using carry cot for the first couple of months and now using pushchair. Both myself and my little one enjoy long walks! Travel system and all accessories are very well made. One of the main selling points for us was tandem configuration where carry cot and pushchair can be used at the same time - so we are ‘future proofed’. - Strengths:

This pram is more pricey but worth every penny. The most easy travel system to use and a sturdy chassis, so easy you can use one hand to manoeuvrer . This is the first pram I can use with ease without the help of my husband!
