I purchased the car seat first as baby can travel in the lie flat seat on long car journeys. Easy to install with seatbelt or isofix. You have to purchase the isofix separately which makes it really expensive. You don’t need a separate pram as you can use the car seat as the bassinet and with the right mattress it functions as a moses basket. I love the whole concept of it and find it really practical. All in one - car seat, push chair and Moses basket. My little one loves to sleep in it. He feels secure and cozy inside it. I can highly recommended if you travel a lot. The frame is light and easy to fold, don’t take much space in the car. It is easy to push and the suspension is great. The basket is too small for shopping. All in all the best product I purchased so far as a parent:

The car seat can be changed into a carry cot which also fits in the car as a safe car seat

    • Weaknesses:

If in a shop with tiled floors the front wheel has a mind if it's own

I love you this pram. My baby is 3 months so we are still using the car seat which turns into the carry cot. This should so much easier than having a separate carry cot. It can lay sideways on the back seats and which ever way you have it in the car it fits straight onto the frame, so no need to disturb your baby. The hood zips off completely, however the zip keeps splitting open which is so annoying. That's the only downfall. The rain cover which comes with it is easy, you just put it over the top and there is two straps which clip around the frame, also a small window like panal you can open to see your baby

    • Weaknesses:

I love this matrix set. I bought it in Teal colour which looks amazing. I bought this pram because I wanted a travel system which also included a carrycot. The carry cot is great for when my son is sleeping and I love the fact the car seat can be laid flat in the car safely. It also doubles as a high chair which will be handy when we go on holiday later this year. I struggle with the weight of the car seat and can only carry it small distances. If you are looking for a car seat you could carry around the supermarket then this isn’t for you.
I also find the trolleys which allow you to place a car seat on top aren’t big enough for this car seat. The other main reason I bought it was for the running appeal and have so far ran twice with my baby and love it. The adjustable suspension, new born insert and smoothness of the wheels make this a great pram to run with and as the carrycot sits on the same chassis as the stroller I don’t have to wait till baby is older and can hold his head as I use the carrycot when running. This was definitely a great purchase and I would not change it for anything else. I get so many compliments on my pram, you can clearly see the quality.

I was looking at this from the day I feel pregnant and was wonded it was a lot of money to spend on a Puch chair but so so worth the price. My husband's family live 2 hours ago and the fact it can lie flat so we don't have to worry about restricting her breathing it a huge weight of our minds plus the added fact we always have a bassinet with us means when doing over night trips we have less to pack. You can also use it with or without an isofix base, so we didn't have to buy another car seat for my husband's car. It's sturdy and built to last and they sell spare parts of you want to make it look new again.

Great stylish pushchair. Loved that it has 3 wheels and my daughter was always happy riding in it. Super easy to assemble, and fold when not in use. I can do everything one handed which will come in handy when the next little one is here. So happy with our choice!

Bought this pram cause wanted a travel system and I am amazed by the quality it provides. Won't take much space in a house or in a boot which I love and kind of was looking for as well. It's so easy to manoeuvre with the pram and that is so important for young mums.

We love our Jane trider matrix 2 travel system which we purchased for our first baby. Although it’s quite big and can be heavy lifting in and out of the car, it’s an extremely stylish pushchair. We love that it is easy to fold and can be pushed on all kinds of terrains. Our little girl now 6 months old must find it so comfortable as sleeps when ever she is in it.

I love this buggy! When searching for a buggy I needed a good off-roader for dog walks and a sturdy enough buggy to be able to run with. The trider does the trick! It has adjustable suspension for different terrain and is so easy to manoeuvre. The matrix light 2 car seat attachment is a lie flat car seat which is ideal for longer journeys and is highly recommended for the first 6 months of baby’s life. It then has 4 different angles that you can sit it at to grow with your baby. Easy to transfer from the chassis to the car and back. I would recommend the isofix base as securing it my seatbelts is a bit trickier. Storage underneath isn’t great but Jané do sell a mesh “shopping bag” that can be attached to the frame.
I would certainly recommend this product!! You won’t regret it.

I purchased this travel system 5yrs ago for my daughter as she was born with a serious health condition that meant she could not be in a normal car seat as she had tubes in her airways. This travel system gave me the ability to take my daughter in the car to hospital appointments and shopping etc which I would not have been able to take her with me if it wasn't for the design of this car seat. It's so easy to transfer from the frame to the car and vise versa and she was always more content laid in the carry cot / car seat than she was even in her cot. The frame is really easy to fold as well. It's so easy to steer (even with a heavy load of medical equipment in the shopping basket) I can highly recommend this travel system to anyone

    • Strengths:

Great suspension. One handed unfolding. Lie flat car seat is fab for long car journeys.

    • Weaknesses:

Two handed folding. Awkward to get car seat into isofix. Quite small shopping bag.

    • Easy to steer

    • Easy to fold

I needed a car seat that my little one could be in for over 3 hours at a time. The matrix light is fantastic for that and doubles up as Moses basket. It’s quiet awkward to get into the isofix, but I do like the front facing position to strapping baby in, rather than awkwardly leaning over them.

The trider is a great pushchair, it’s large and fairly heavy but feels sturdy and has a great suspension for all terrains. I like the hand control brake and single handed unfolding. To fold up needs two hands and it’s not the smallest when folded but does fit in my small boot with the wheels taken off.

Good pram for children, might be difficult to fold into small spaces like small car boots, small living spaces as the wheels are big at the back, would be better if there was a better and different range of colours to suit everyone and if it came with the matching accessories such as a changing bag then the value for its money would be much better.

    • Strengths:

Very robust. Easy to swap between carry cot and push chair. Good on bumpy terain.

This system has been through 2 children and now on the 3rd. The car seat has lasted really well and feels very secure and mychildren have for in it for a long time which put off buying a larger front facing seat which was great. The carry cot is really bulky but seems very comfortable and it's easy to swap between the cot and push chair. Pushes easily but it quite heavy and doesn't collapse much so can be hard to get in the car boot. Would recommend for someone who walks a lot as it stands up to a lot of miles.

The car seat is a bit heavier and bulkier than others available but it is a small sacrifice to make for the convenience of the lie flat car seat. Our little one has slept for 2 hours whilst on car journeys in the lie flat position and not having to worry him being in an unhealthy position is very reassuring.
Can highly recommend this travel system.

My partner and I couldn't choose between the trider and the rider. We went for the rider, I regret it. My baby is 3 months old, so far the break has broken, the wheels creek, the liner inside the matrix is white and so ball'y already. The footmuff and liner covers are sold Sep and cost collectively £120!! On top of this our handle is loose, when it's up straight the break won't even close (located on the handle). My 3 month old baby is too big for the matrix already and we were told it would do until he's at least 22lbs or a year. I can't rate this product any lower. We spent £715+ on this pram in the woods colour and a vinicci at £500 would have done so much more and wouldn't be falling apart after 3 months.
