Hippychick Tidy Tot Bib and Travel Bag

This is a great design with limited alternatives on the market.
The tidy tot tray attaches to most highchairs with auction cups. I have a plastic highchair and have experienced no problems getting this to stick in place.
The bib easily attaches to the tray and covers baby completely.
However the attachment is made of valcro which eventually wears down with washing and general use.
I found I had to purchase extra bibs as the type of material the bib is designed from is not easily "wiped clean" and so has to be put in the washing machine after each use.
The tray is great as it is easily wipeable and baby can eat food straight from the tray itself if preferred. I would like however a plate to be able to stick on the tray itself, but yet to find one.
This is a great product but so far only available in two colours.

Got the tidy tot when I started BLW as I was fed up of cleaning food of the floor, this is great at keeping the food off of the floor and clothes however I do think the tray is a little flimsy and food sometimes rolls off of it. Bib needs washing after every use otherwise it ends up smelling, cannot be tumble dried so def need to purchase extra bibs

I purchased a Tidy Tot tray and bib in preparation for starting Baby Led Weaning when my daughter turned 6 months old. Being a member of baby Led Weaning groups on social media I knew that baby Led Weaning creates a whole lot of mess of baby and the floor. I had seen the Tidy Tot recommended by lots of parents so I knew I had to get one.
We have been using our Tidy Tot Set now for 6 weeks and it is an absolute game changer in the world of baby Led Weaning. The bib has a Velcro strip across the bottom which attaches to the corresponding Velcro strip on the Tidy Tot tray.
This creates a pouch where all the dropped food collects that would usually fall into baby’s lap and high chair seat. This means a lot less clean up and more food that gets eaten instead of wasted. The only downside to the Tidy Tot tray is that if you do not have a solid plastic backed high chair, the tray does not suction well to the back of the chair which makes the tray slope downwards towards the back of the tray. This isn’t a major issue, we have still used the tray everyday and it’s not a big problem. It still works really well. I love how easy the tray is to clean up and It does not stain. You definitely need to buy extra bibs, the set comes with one bib and I find myself having to wash it after each meal and hope it’s dry in time for the next one. The Tidy Tot folds down small and fits into a travel bag which is handy for travel purposes.
I love the Tidy Tot. It has been my best Weaning related purchase so far.

This is the best thing i bought for my baby led weaning days. It meant the food that used to get flung around was contained on the tray and not all over my kitchen! It does fold up but is a little bit tricky so we used to just wash with hot soapy water and stand to dry. this can be a bit awkward in winter if you can't hang it outside. The bibs are great quality and don't stain which is great. they do need a wash each time if you are having wet food so it's best to have a couple of spares but the amount of clothes it saved from stains and spills mean it is well worth it! Would definitely recommend.
