The Wonder Weeks App

I purchased this app as after my second child 3 years after my first, I’d completely forgotten about all the leaps, growth spurts etc.
So I’d been doing some research online and this looked very popular and I liked the look of some of the screen shots I’d seen so I bought it.
First of all logging In... the app crashed 4 times so I wasn’t that impressed.

But once I got going I thought it was pretty good as it tells you week by week what to expect- though you should bare in mind that not every baby moves as this speed. For example it says to expect ‘ stormy weather’ around weeks 8-9 but I think my daughter shot through that at 7 weeks.

The only thing I would say is which the chart it’s self that plots the expected behaviour was more interactive and also the price of the app is a bit over priced in my opinion.

All in all though a good app ?

I ummed and arred about this app for a good while. It was recommended to me by a friend and one night in bed I decided to buy it and see what was going on in my daughters development after a stressful day not being able to please her. Now I know what to expect and it's so helpful.

really good and lots of information and support, however could do with a quick guide on how to get started. once familiar however very easy to use and both myself and my partner are enjoying the informative content.

I purchased this app quite soon after my baby was born and it keeps track of any leaps or development/fussy stages your baby is going through based on your due date. Most of the time when my little girl hasn’t been her normal happy self I’ve checked the app and she was going through a leap or fussy stage and it’s just good info to know what they are learning at that time and what new things they should now be able to do.

This app is great. It allows you to see when your baby will be having more fussy times and when this is happening when they’re going to end. It also suggests different exercises so you can understand what your baby is going through.
I would definitely recommend this to all parents.

Great app, recommended to many. It really helps makes sense of what your babies are feeling and going through. It’s scary how accurate it is!

I love this app! It's great to be able to see when to expect a 'stormy' period and to be able to see your baby slowly learning the skills detailed at each development leap.

I absolutely love this app and recommend it to everyone who is expecting a baby or has a new baby. It explains the stages in a baby’s development in terms of leaps. It’s been spot on for my daughter and reassures me that I’m not doing anything wrong and what she’s going through is normal.

Great app, very helpful during leaps. Helps you to understand fussy periods better and what they are learning so you can help them grow.

I found it hard to get the hang of the app. It wasn't described when I downloaded the app, so it wasn't particularly clear to me. I thought it was good that it was free as i didn't get on with it, it wasn't a waste of money.

I found this app by mistake but is very helpful and have gotten a few friends on it too! All babies are obviously different so it’s not always 100% accurate but it’s close enough that you can be prepared for different leaps and grumpy stages!

When we had our eldest daughter, I loved this app. Not knowing when children learn to do things etc, we found this app super useful to really start to understand what was going on. The major factor for this was regarding sleep and when babies regress, which was an excellent feature for the app as any new parent worries when their baby just won't sleep for what feels like a lifetime, but it's just a leap!
The only downside I have to this app is that it almost puts every baby into the same category as to when they should be learning and developing new things, but every baby is different and not all babies learn/develop at the same rate.

I like this app as it’s very informative and clear about baby’s development. Each stage has information as well as videos showing developmental milestones. However it does take up s lot of memory and is expensive for an app.

I brought this off the Google play store after it was recommended to me by a friend.

I work in an environment where I am in daily contact with children and thought I knew all about child development until I had this app.

I have found this really informative and told me all about "leaps" our babies go through and what to expect when they are going through it.

I find the app really good in the respect it uses a child's birth date as oppose to expected delivery date like most other apps I have used. My little one was only three weeks early but it is amazing how that can affect development in just though few weeks with regards to what she should be doing etc.

I have found the app to be spot on when she has had a bad day and the app is really good in explaining why your baby may be frustrated etc. It comes with a clear built in calendar and explains really well what can happen on different days.

It is a little pricey but if you are wanting to know about development and also how you can assist your baby I would download this. Unlike other apps it does repeatedly tell you all babies are different and not to worry if your baby isn't doing the things it states which I found really reassuring.
