I regularly refer to this app whenever I notice that my baby is having a bad spell. It often explains the reasoning behind the change in behaviour and offers a very good insight to weekly development of my baby and makes suggestions on how to further this development and support them through a troublesome “storm” period. A great app used by all my new mum friends. - Strengths:

Sometimes the days vary a few either side but the information in regards to the leap is always correct. It’s brought me a lot of relief and really helped me understand why baby is acting the way he is and what he’s currently going through as he develops. A lot easier to sympathise with baby and pin point what exactly could be wrong and brilliant so you know what to expect with the next leap - Strengths:

I got this app after I saw someone talking about it on Facebook and thought why not give it a good. I’ve put price down as a weakness but it was only £3.99 so for what you get that’s pretty good. As my baby was prem it was good to use this to see where he should be in his development. I liked the fact this app took into consideration that he was prem unlike other apps I used. It’s nice to be able to read some information about baby and how they are developing. The app is well done and easy to find what you’re looking for. I’m so glad I found this app and will keep it on my phone until baby number two comes along. - Strengths:

I purchased this app after it was recommended by other mums on a group. Prior to this I had never heard of leaps and didn't really know what was going off with my little one. I find reading about each leap really interesting, I like the tips regarding how to help encourage little one to use their new skills and found this really helps my little boy. I have told others about this too. Would definitely recommend if you want to know what your baby is learning and how they are changing. - Strengths:

For £3.99 this app is truly wonderful, it gives you so much information as to what is going on in babies new world and really helps you to understand why they might be displaying certain behaviours. The negatives I found were that the leap phases weren’t always very accurate and it left me basically putting all my daughters ‘strange’ behaviour down to the leaps when actually seven months on and she is just a very fussy and particular baby. It also made me worry a bit in the earlier months as the app says things like “by the end of this leap your baby should be able to...” and often my baby wasn’t reaching those milestones and I found that hard to accept. I actually stopped tracking/reading the app for a while due to this. However I am so glad I purchased it, it is really worth the money! So much interesting information and video examples of things which is great. - Strengths:

I love this app it really helps to identify different developmental stages for my baby and is very accurate With the descriptions. It links to your phone calendar and gives you a notification or alarm when that stage is approaching.
I didn't expect to pay for it but its not expensive so I put it as a weakness just for the unexpected reason. - Strengths:

This app is great for tracking development. Lots of insights into baby's behaviours. Also has great tips of what to be encouraging babies to do. The app is nicely presented and clear. My only negative is the app costs money and since changing my phone from iPhone to android I've had to pay for the app twice. - Strengths:

I was recommended this app by another mum. It was £4.99 but it has a lot of info. It explains each leap in the babies mental development. It’s nice knowing why your baby could be acting grumpier than normal. And also prepare you for those rocky times. I found it very accurate. I would highly recommend for first time mums. - Strengths:

I love this app, it gives you a loose idea of what you could be experiencing with your growing baby. The app is easy to read and understand with bullet points and easy to understand diagrams.
The weekly mood diary also helps us to understand if we’re going to be experiencing a tough week or potential a better week. It’s a great idea to be able to understand the leaps baby will be experiencing. - Strengths:

This is the 2nd best baby app I use, only being beaten by Baby+ & that’s only because it’s my everyday app for recording day to day info. This is fantastic for learning more about your baby & understanding why they’re groggy etc. By far worth the money. Would without a doubt reccomend this app. - Strengths:

This was very reassuring in the early days when trying to understand why our babies were unsettled. I liked being able to read what the developments were in each leap. However, I found that the dates and weeks were completely inaccurate for our girls, even when using their due date rather than actual birth date. - Strengths:

I found this app helpful as a first time mother as it helped me understand what my LG was going through and why at times she was being fussy or more clingy than normal. It explains what the baby is experiencing at different developmental milestones and how their behaviour can be rationalised. It lets you know that what you are going through is perfectly normal and as a first timer this was worth knowing! A little on the expensive side for what I would normally pay for an app but really informative and reassuring. Just take gr dates with a pinch of salt as they’re were fairly accurate for me but not always to the day. - Strengths:

Great app that tells me what milestones my baby is getting up to and learning at her age, I don’t use it all the time occasionally just go on when she’s reaching a fussy stage in life and the app always confirms that. - Strengths:

Useful app which explains the fussy phases of a baby over the first two years.
It gives detailed descriptions what’s happening with the baby development in each leap and also gives ideas how to further promote it.
It can save a mums sanity by knowing the fussiness will be over to some point. -

I love The Wonder Weeks. For a first time parent especially it really helps rationalise every tantrum and odd changes in feeding and sleeping. I literal don't know what I'd in done without this app especially in the first 3 months...apart from cry every day in frustration! The app considerably eased concerns and stress that could have easily dominated the hardest first few months and I just wish I could buy the app for my pregnant friends! - Strengths:

I bought the wonder weeks book - but the app is much more helpful. You set it up with your child’s age & add a photo if you want. Then it creates a dates graph (see photo) for your child. The app is easy to navigate. I would say that sometimes stormy periods on the app do not match up to real life. But I think if you take it with a pinch of salt & not 100% literally then it’s a good reference. - Strengths:

Its a good app but it easily becomes an addiction and you blame every part of your child's behaviour on if they are "leaping" or not.
I think its nice to know when they are having a developmental milestone and some ideas to help you get through it.

I absolutely love this app and I couldn’t be without it, the information provided is so accurate iits mind blowing, the chart is a god send especially the fact it can be linked to your calander to notify me when it tells me weather my baby’s mood is going going to be happy or unhappy.
I can’t recommend it enough especially for first time mummies like myself. - Strengths:

I love this app stops me from going crazy to understand it's a phase and it part of their development. Every time they become more fussy or upset I check the app and 99% of the time they are starting a new leap. Great advice of how you can help the development and support through the leap. - Strengths:

I used this app with my first child but discovered the app quite late. In that period I was amazed how helpful this app was. Honestly the fussy stages can drive us patents mad but it's great to know why they are fussy. Also to predict when we can expect those fussy stages and also the happy ones. Good to see that all the fuss is for a good reason. It also makes you notice the little changes your lo is going through, some things can go unnoticed if not pointed out.
I started using this for my new born as well, however she is too young for us have actually gone through any leaps yet. However it's great to have this app on my side. - Strengths:

This is a fantastic app, especially for first time mums. This app was almost on point with when my baby was having a “leap” and the information shared meant I knew what my little one was experiencing and why he was maybe more restless than usual or upset. It’s easy to use and gives a real insight Into your baby’s world. Highly recommend downloading. - Strengths:

This is a fantastic app! It’s the best 2.99 I’ve spent on an app. It lets me know when my little girl is going to be due her next leap. It explains to you what will happen and why! Once you hit the leap it updates with more information and tips etc. I would highly recommend it. It just makes you understand why baby is all of a sudden more clingy etc. - Strengths:

I've recently downloaded this app to keep on track with my baby's development. So far I find it very interesting to read about what developments and changes I can expect in my baby and find it useful to see when any particularly fussy periods may be upcoming with the chart feature. There is also an option to add your own notes so you can track your own baby's reactions to each leap. - Write a review
