This pump is easy to use, helping me express a good amount, much more than with a hand pump.
I find most parts easy to clean, although occasionally milk gets sucked into the tube and this is difficult to wash and dry. If I were to buy another pump I may be more likely to choose one with a 'closed' system as I worry about hygiene.
The included calma bottle looks really good. I could not get my son to take this, although if he were to struggle with gas I would try some more as the bottle teat does look better than regular teats. - Strengths:

This product has made exclusively breast feeding so much easier as my son was unable to latch.
The pump is easy to use and gets milk out quickly and effectively. Although it’s a bit pricey it is worth every penny! - Strengths:

This is a great pump! I exclusively pumped for 4 months and this was so efficient. It was easy to express a large amount in a short amount of time. It is small and lightweight so I could take it out with me and meant I could discreetly pump. The only criticism is that being a single pump meant that my other breast leaked a lot whilst pumping. This is a great product for a breastfeeding woman that wants to pump occasionally. I would recommend the double pump for exclusive expressing. - Strengths:

I loved this product in my breastfeeding days. It is super easy to use and clean, it's not flimsy at all, it was an absolute life saver. I can't recommend this brand high enough for anyone wanting to breastfeed, whether it be for gaining supply or storing to freeze, this is the way to go! - Strengths:

I was using medela swing as my first pump after I failed to nurse my baby during first month. After I changed it to double breast pump as it was so much faster and easier for me. I would recommend medela swing for those who does not need to use it regularly, As I used it 8 times per day and even more frequent sometimes. It is good for rare pumpings when you need to go out and leave some milk for your baby, but for those who need to pump 8 times a day and do it every day I recommend double pump, it will make your life much easier.
Medela swing is quite silent comparing with other pumps I used, I was using it every night and three times per night and my husband never complained about the noise it made. There is a teat and bottle in the package, however my little baby never managed to such with this teat. -

I love love love this pump. I had a premature baby who was in nicu for a couple of months. This pump was my absolute life saver. It’s super portable so I could just slip it out n my bag and take it with me to the hospital and back home again. It was so easy to use and to clean. It wasn’t particularly noisy either. I could pump for 20 mins without any fuss. The fact you can buy extras and spares of everything too was a life saver so I wouldn’t have to worry about steriliser times etc. I went onto use it for my second child as couldn’t feed her due to a tongue tie so expressing was the next best thing. Now I’m expectmy third child many years on this is on my list to buy as I had such a great time with it. I couldn’t recommend this to other enough. - Strengths:

I've been using this pump since my daughter was born and only issue I had was once my let down caught me off guard and I didn't press the let down button quick enough and the milk got sucked back up through the air pipe and into the pump. Super easy to use and would highly recommend it. - Strengths:

I bought this pump after using a hospital grade pump for 2 weeks and found it worked just as well, even with battery power. You can get different size shields to fit you better and it's relatively quiet.
The only down side is it's an open system, if milk gets into the tubing it can get to the motor unit which can't be cleaned. It's a lot of money for a single use pump (although they don't specify a time frame for use). If I need another one I will probably look for a pump with a closed system. - Strengths:

Wow, where do I start with this product. It’s amazing. As a first time mummy I really wanted to breastfeed but didn’t want daddy to feel left out at feed times. I got this pump so daddy good feed my little girl with my expressed milk. It was so quick and easy. Very effective and I could pump plenty of milk on a short period. I didn’t have to sit for a long time waiting for the bottle to fill. I would recommend this to anyone. Also has a mains plug or a battery power option if out and about! Fantastic! - Strengths:

I brought this pump after having a cheap one off of amazon and you definitely get what you pay for with pumps. The unbranded one I had hurt my nipples and made me dread pumping. It also seemed to be too small but unfortunately you could not change the shield size. I did research and found that this one has multiple sizes available to buy so I brought this and I’m very happy. It’s easy to use and set up, im hoping it will last until I have my other children as it was £85 to buy from John Lewis so expensive but not as expensive as other pumps. - Strengths:

I bought this pump as it is the same brand which the hospital uses, although smaller than hospital ones it does exactly the same job and is just as comfortable.
The two phases are great for getting your milk flow going and mimic that of a baby. Overall amazing product at a reasonable price, plus any standard bottle fits that isn’t branded. - Strengths:

So after using the medela pump at hospital I was adamant I needed that brand for mine at home. Since the twin was out of my price range I picked mine up from John Lewis.
I was made up with the performance of the small and portable pump and it didn’t seem to change when I had it plugged in or was using batteries. Recently however it seems to have lost suction power to the point where I am considering returning it for a replacement.
There is also a design flaw on the tube attachment where if your breasts have lost of milk the powerful suction can suck milk into the tubing which can go into the pump. When this happens you have to stop and get the milk out of the tube fore you can continue pumping which is inconvenient at least. - Strengths:

This is a great pump. Very easy to use with adjustable suction strength. The cycle starts with short quick suction ( to stimulate breast) and then adjusts to long slower suction (once flow is established) after a few minutes to imitate how a baby nurses. You can manually switch the pump to long suction if the flow is established quicker. It's easy to clean and comes with calma year which is really fantastic. My baby had no problem feeding from the bottle with this year. This is great advantage ad I could involve my husband in feeding as well.
I used it while plugged in as found that batteries don't last too long.
Overall, I'm very happy with this pump. - Strengths:

I bought this in a panic soon after my sons birth and it had great reviews online. I would say it was a great pump for nights out/hen party to throw in my bag but wouldn't have bought it if I have done some proper research! I later learned that this is an open system pump, which means it is vulnerable to milk going into the pump and resulting in mould. I found that I had a problem with milk backing up the tubing and has went into the pump. Whilst medela say if it does happen you should rinse it out (clear procedure how to), this I not an option if you are pumping in nightclub toilets!!
On the plus side, customer service were amazing and eventually sent me a new pump as they couldn't understand my repeated problem with milk backup-so I now have a newborn and I will give the pump another go.
I'd recommend buying a flange to fit your nipple appropriately I was able to buy a smaller one and it was much more comfortable-bigger one was sore and ineffective. - Strengths:

I’ve been using this pump for 2 months, about once a day as I EBF. The product itself is good, comes with everything you need in the box. It has a good suction on it and I’m able to get a few oz each time.
I don’t like the calma bottles though, the shape of the treat is strange, my son won’t take them either. - Strengths:

I love the Medela Swing, although a little pricey the quality of the product is great. I find it very useful that it runs off both mains and batteries, most of the time I need to be mobile with it so the batterie option is great and they lasted a lot longer than I though too.
Only down side is if you sit at the wrong angle milk travels up the tube into the machine, if you take the back off though there is a little sponge to catch this and I just rinse it out with water.
