I got this pram in the January sales, it’s a absolutely gorgeous pram & came with everything to last my son until around 2, it’s easy to fold, push. The only downfall is the basket is soooooo small so had to purchase a mummy clip.

Amazing travel system very universal and adaptable as you can have the carrycot attached , the pram unit for newborns and then the seat unit for when they can hold their head . Easy to attach and detach off the wheels , wheels very easy to fold down and put back up . Comes with rain cover ideal for if it’s raining , love the flaps in the pram unit so you can keep an eye on baby if forward facing , also very good preorecrion against the sun with the mesh insert fabric in the hood .

    • Weaknesses:

This travel system is very stylish and comes in a variety of colours to suit your preference. You can interchange colours as well if you fancied a change as the hoods zip on and off easily.
The convenience of being able to clip your car seat, whether it's maxi cosi or silver cross is great and so easy to do. The fold mechanism is very simple and can be done one handed, when folded it still takes up quite a bit of room and if your using a carry cot or the toddler seat then say goodbye to your boot space!
I love that the chassy is modern and stylish and is very sturdy, it is a dream to push and very manoeuvrable. You can clip on an umbrella, and a cup holder if you choose. The raincover fits lovely over the carry cot or toddler seat however as your toddler grows they can kick the bottom of it off, it could do with having a hook on the bottom that clips it to the chair rather than elastic.
The basket underneath is quite small but is easy to get to and is angled so that things don't fall out of it.
The suspension and wheels give a smooth ride for your baby and if you have the seat liners then the seat is pretty comfy for them.
There is a peekaboo flap on the hood so if your baby is faced forward you can still peep through at them.
It is light enough to lift up and down onto curbs, even loaded up with your baby/bag and whatever else.
It's a great system and all the extras clip on and off easily, the handle can be extended to a few different heights if needed. You can also get a buggy board to attach to the pram if you have a toddler but we've not needed this yet!

I think the only fault with this pram is the small basket! That can be annoying but you can find ways around it and sometimes even a godsend so that it forces you not to carry unnecessary items.
This pram is super light weight and so so easy to steer with one hand. The suspension is brilliant and rivals that of a huge old fashioned bouncy pram that I've had in the past. The suspension meant that even though the front wheels are tiny I has no problems whatsoever going up and down curbs or on and off buses. I didn't even have to really push it up a curb, it just bumped/glided over it. Also because of the suspension I could actually rock the pram a little which helped to get my daughter to sleep on numerous occasions. The seat was always super comfy and the bumper bar was swing hinge so very easy to get the child in and out. The handle was easy to adjust and once the folding mechanism was mastered it took less than 5 seconds to do it. This fit in really well on a bus, but the brake can be awkward because unlike when you're walking, when you're on a bus you have to reach around with your foot to hit the very small button which releases the brake. Other improvements; the hood could do with coming down a bit lower, the basket could be bigger and the straps could be less fiddly.
Overall though one of my all time favourite prams!! Love it!! Many man different extremely stylish, trendy options to choose from! Gorgeous.

The silver cross surfer 3 is the perfect pram for our doorsy people. I, myself, am an equestrian, and I’m always at the stables caring for my horse. This pram is perfect with its three large wheels to go over rough and bumpy terrain. For town use, the small switch between the large wheel and the smaller wheels is so easy and quick! Everything is above what I’d look for in a pram and my daughter loves sleeping in there! Definitely recommend to another person!

Overall this is an awesome product! I would definitely buy again. It’s biggest downside is the little basket. It is great in all terrains and makes walking the baby easy! And still easy to steer with one hand while walking the dog! Also love the height adjustable handle!

I have loved this pram. It’s realy easy to assemble and collapse. The bassinet is longer than other ones I have looked at and therefore my baby is in it for longer. The attachments easily fit into the chassis and easily separate. The seat which can be used from 6 months can be forward facing or rear facing. My only negative is the size of the shopping basket underneath. You can fit very little in it and therefore I haven’t used it. I love the colour of mine and you can use the covers on both the bassinet and seat.

bought this pushchair in red colour for my 1st child in toysRus[in store]. it was the best decision we made. very strong and sturdy and steer easily with one hand. i am now using it for my 2nd child and it is getting strong day by day. no one believe when i say it is 5 years old. i have also a very good experience with silver cross as there was some problem with the brake after nearly using it for 2 years so they fix it for free. and after 2 year you have to pay £50 plus pp. only down side is the basket is small. but i don't mind it as it is so classy. a bit big for small car and a bit expensive as compared to other but i think it's worth the money.

I love it it’s easy to use (even my husband can use it) I love that everything is a click away and it’s world and parent facing, the basket is very small and you have to put the seat on the floor when you take it off to put the frame into the car!

    • Strengths:

Sturdy, carrier space at bottom, reclines to suit various ages, neutral colour for either sex

We have had this pram for 2 years now and it has minimal wear and tear on it. As the back reclines, it suits various ages and stages of baby up to toddler. The neutral colour is suitable for either sex and the material is extremely luxurious and looks very rich! The only downside is that the wheels sometimes lock/stick whenever you’re turning a corner, and it is fairly bulky/heavy when taking it in and out of car boots. Overall though, I’d thoroughly recommend it and feel it is a good make which is made to last!

We were lucky enough to have this push chair given as a gift and it's one of the very few places my little one loves to be in, as well as actually sleep lol. The downsides are, it's quite large when dismantled so we can only just about fit the wheels in the boot (we don't have a very big boot either). And the basket is tiny. I can't even get a bag of shopping in it

I absolutely love this pram. I used this from birth with my little one and was gutted when it broke. The seat unit looks so comfortable for baby, i used a nest to support little one instead of using a carrycot. This also allows baby to be slightly propped up in the 2nd recline position allowing them to see more and also help with reflux. The pram is by far the easiest pram to push. Its so smooth and turns brilliantly, its effortless. The hood offers great shade from the sun and a great little window to view baby. I love how the seat unit can be parent or world facing, giving you the choice. the frame is sturdy and has great suspension. The only down sides to the pram are the small basket. If you are someone who doesn't have a car and relies on your pram when shopping this isn't the right one for you. The basket is very small and also an odd shape making it difficult to put stuff under there. The pram is easy to fold when you know what you are doing but is quite inconvenient how you have to take the seat unit and basket off to be able to fold the frame, not a pram you can fold in a hurry. When folded is rather compact though. I think this pram is rather expensive, i find your paying more for the brand rather than the pram. I like how you can swap and change the seat liners and hood apron to change the style or colour of the pram. Overall a great pram, a great push but not great for shopping.

The pram itself looks stunning, it’s really easy to assemble, easy to collapse and manoeuvre. However the basket is shocking. Really difficult to fit things in it and access it as the chassis of the pram stops easy access.

This pram is fantastic if you want to go from city walks to countryside ambling. The steering is really responsive and I find it easy to turn around. The design of the pram is also really pleasing to the eye and looks stylish.
We used both the bassinet part of the pram and now have moved to the seated pram part. Both are lovely and comfortable and my little girl had no problems in either parts.
The only downside I’ve found about the pushchair is that sometimes the collapse function can take a few goes to get. You have to hold the button on the push bar down and really slam it down and over for it to collapse sometimes but that may just be mine. In comparison to others of a similar spec, this pram is relatively light and extremely easy to manoeuvre. I would definitely use this pram for my second child and would have no issues recommending it to any expectant parents

So I think this pram is gorgeous, but not very practical.

    Pro’s
    - Looks very comfy and little one will always fall asleep in the lie down cot.
    - I love a travel system, so easy and convenient
    - The fur insert which comes with it is beautiful, cosy and so warm for baby.

    Cons:
    - The basket is TINY! And quite often a lot falls out of it.
    - Cannot steer it at all with the third wheel, it is so hard.
    - Fault with the breaking system, I thought his may have been just my pram so emailed the manufacturer.... apparently this is a regular problem and I should spray on some “WD40” For the price of what I paid I strongly feel there should not be any faults, or they should be handing out wd40 with it!!!
    - I found it hard to fold up and put away the first time, now I know what I’m doing it’s easy. But if anyone in the family is with me they’ll always let me do it as they also think it is way too hard.

We choose this travel system for the following reason which it delivers perfectly: being stable and easy to manoeuvre on any surface, including snow by using the additional third wheel; allow our new born to sleep in the carry cot over night (it is certified for this and approved by the midwife); elegant design.
We didn't consider some other important feature: the buggy is heavy for me alone to lift it with the baby inside, which is a problem if you don't have a car and need to use public transport; it's quite big and difficult to fold in few seconds, which means it's open all the time and takes much space in a small house; the basket is extremely small.
The quality is overall pretty good but we had to fix one of the front wheels at some point.
When the little one started to walk we replaced it with a light stroller and set it aside for the next one

A versatile travel system, the carrycot is good quality and baby seems to find it very comfortable. The good size hood protects her well from the elements. The integrated handle makes the carrycot easy to liftoff and carry.

It takes practice to be able to fold the pram down and it doesn't fold as compactly as I would like. The carrycot and car seat are quite straightforward to fit in the car .

The basket is a little awkwardly placed and could be more generous in size. When hanging the bag over the handle by the strap, there is only a slightly prominent lip on either side of the handle to stop it slipping and while moving the pram the bag often slips which is a little frustrating.

I ordered a pushchair that was currently out of stock, but it still arrived the next day! Brilliant customer service on the phone, called to change something on the order I’d placed online, and was given the opportunity to change to the out of stock option.
Also I ordered a cosy toes, not knowing it matched an earlier model, this meant it didn’t fasten onto the pushchair although it still looked great, so I called to return it. It was collected the following day and refunded the day after. Very impressed.

The surf is an amazing pushchair to use. My son loves being in all parts of it. The car seat is easy to fit in the car, with or without a base. It's a perfect size to get on the bus with and to also put in the car boot. They come in beautiful bright colours which my son loves to look at. The extendable handle is perfect for my taller boyfriend and my short nephews.

The silvercross surf is a travel system that is lightweight and easy to manoeuvrer as long as the front wheels don't lock on. I looks nice and seems to be comfortable enough with good suspension .
One of the downsides is to fold it down you have to remove the top of the pram from the chasis which can be a bit time consuming so for putting it in the boot of your car you have to take the pram off put it on the road side and then fold the wheels, put those in the car then put the pram piece on top.
