A handy thermometer for a bag but we found with a very active baby it was difficult to hold the thermometer in place for the time needed for the reading. handy as a out and about version but we prefer the under arm models available. - Strengths:

I always have one of these in my handbag as they are small, light weight and easy to read. However forehead temp isn't the most reliable means of telling temperature..especially in the summer, and its a nightmare to get babies or kids to sit or lay still long enough to get a good reading. As I said good for on the go though so would recommend - Strengths:

Supposedly head thermometers aren't the best way of getting an accurate reading but you can always use with other thermometers if their temperature doesn't look good. This was my main thermometer with my eldest as the little one often had a high temperature teething and with colds particularly at night this meant we could keep an eye on the temperature through the night without disturbing the much needed sleep that would help my little one get better, it was also useful during the day with a raised temperature to not have to constantly stop play time to stick things in my little ones ears etc which children don't like anyway. - Strengths:

It's a great thermometer as it does what you need it to do. But it's hard to get babies and toddlers to keep still long enough for it to register their temperature properly. -

Product is cheap and works so if you are in a budget I would recommend. The only down side I have is that if he doesn’t sit still I cannot get a reading as it must be flat on baby’s forehead, but I’d use when they are playing and distracted or asleep. - Strengths:
