Lovely frame used for my eldest and now using for my little one. I have the full travel system and the carry cot is comfy and spacious and the chair is brilliant with a 5 point harness, lots of different reclining positron and world or parent facing. Love this pram so happy I decided to buy it!

Bought this pram as a package when on offer, it is a brilliant pram and pushchair and my daughter is very settled and secure in both the pram and the pushchair. The colours are lovely. The only minor complaint is the frame is bulky and heavy.

    • Strengths:

It's big, sturdy, easily removable fabric for cleaning.

    • Weaknesses:

      Hood not long enough

This was our second pushchair after travel system. The pushchair itself is great, it has an adjustable handle so it's great for my partner and me to use. Steers great, and very smooth for baby over bumps. Its also very comfy for baby to sit in due to padding. Waist bar and hood come off. So does most of the fabric so it's easy to clean. The wheels are great, foam wheels so punctures ever. Now the bits I didn't like. The basket is too small and shallow compared to my previous pushchair. Quite heavy and bulky when folded. I didn't actually realise it'd take up most of the boot space when I purchased it, even folded. It's at a slight incline,. My baby likes to sit up straight and look around so he didn't like that. Also my baby doesn't like to be restricted so the straps were a bit annoying as I couldn't remove the top top straps and just use the waist straps since baby could sit up he's only ever used the straps around his waist as he likes to sit forward. The hood hated it, it didn't extend long enough compared to previous pram when laying flat, it let's all the light in. Due to hood and its bulkiness I sold it on and returned to using the travel system pushchair so currently looking to get a new one so I can retire the travel system.

I love this pushchair. Lovely steering, looks great and fab quality. Other accessories from mama's and papas can be fitted on like carrycots and car seats. I have to remove one of the wheels so it will fit in my boot but they are easy to attach and detract so not much of an issue. A bit heavier than I thought it would be. Value of money is good it's cheaper than the urbo and I think better than the urbo, urbo is harder to go up curbs etc as frame feels stiffer and heavier. I love the sola2!

    • Strengths:

Lays flat position so there is absolutely no need to purchase the separate carrycot

    • Weaknesses:

The seat is very open wich is great for older children but not so much the young ones

I purchase the sola 2 for my son as I absolutely fell in love with it in the shop, it's so easy to push, a nice height with an adjustable handle. The seat is so easy to turn from world to parent facing and although the basket doesn't look that big you can get a lot of shopping inside. Myself and my 6ft partner was able to push the pushchair with ease. The only down side I found was how open the seat was so on extra cold days my son would get really cold as he had no protection other then if I put the rain cover on, on sunny days the hood wouldn't keep the sun out his eyes when world facing but these can be easily rectified by turning him parent facing.

This pushchair has so many strengths! It’s sturdy, so easy to steer and push, very roomy!

I always wanted one of these pushchairs for my son and after trying two other brands I finally got one of these, I absolutely loved it! I love how you can personalise the fabrics of the seat unit! It’s very sturdy and so easy to steer! The storage underneath is very roomy and can fit a lot of shopping lol, this pushchair enabled my son to use this until he was nearly 4 as he was a pain to walk anywhere with he would refuse to walk. The seat unit declines back to a lay down position it has 3 different decline positions. And also this pushchair can be used from birth if you get the bassinet Carry for the frame so it’s very versatile. I highly recommend this product and I will be buying this again for my next child due in December 2018.

We love our Sola, we used the carrycot for around 1 month then used the big seat from 1 month + as it lies flat but baby can look around more, very very easy to steer, comfy seat unit, can be a little troublesome to fold as it can sometimes be tricky to pull up on the latch, the sun gets in babies eyes if laid flat, even with the hood fully pulled open as it just isn't big enough, but this can be fixed with a sun umbrella.

Pram is easy to fold and the wheels come off with one button.

The sola2 is a fab pram, it's sturdy, relatively lightweight and easy to steer. The mulberry colour is beautiful and contemporary. My only downside to the pram is sometimes the break doesn't fully lock in place so just remember to check before leaving go of the pram. It folds down into like a square rather than an umbrella fold which is great for car boots of any size especially when the back wheels unclip with a button and then slide off.

I love our Sola 2 pushchair. We’ve used ours for short periods from newborn as it lays completely flat & our daughter is now happy in the reclined position for longer trips. It is easy to lie down flat gently if she nods off while we’re out. Due to the fact it is quite large & can be turned around to face out, if wanted, it will last her for a long time yet. It is well padded & comfortable. It is easy to steer & has a reasonable sized shopping basket underneath. The height adjustable handle is a great addition for us too, as my husband is much taller than me.
It is quite bulky & takes up the entire boot of my car but I do drive a C1 so it has a tiny boot! The only thing that could be improved IMO would be an extendable hood so that it would give better coverage in he more reclined and flat positions. But I just bought a clip on extender shade which works fine. I’d definitely recommend this product.

We purchased this pushchair in grey for my first baby. We bought the carry cot and car seat adapters to fit our maxi-cosi pushchair. The pushchair is so easy to assemble, didn’t even need my partner and looks so beautiful set up especially with the carry cot, it’s perfect for our newborn! I was looking for something easy to collapse to fit in my car and with non inflatable tyres, I did lots of research and decided this was the pushchair for our family! I feel confident putting the frame up and down and choosing whether to add my car seat or the carry cot, both are so easy to add on to the frame. The only real problem I have had is that the clips you have to press to collapse the frame can stick and be a little tricky however with abit of force it soon sorts itself out. There is plenty of space underneath for shopping. This pushchair is fantastic value for money, it came with a really stylish matching baby changing bag too which we love.

Out of all the buggies I've had, and there has been a lot, this is by far my favourite. I fell in love with this buggy the minute I saw it and was just so excited to get it home. Even now my back wheel isn't clipping back on but I don't have the heart to bin it. If I find out this baby is a girl I'm just going to get the wheel fixed and use this again. If not I will buy a new one.

After using the mamas and papas sola 2 for around 6 months I absolutely love it! First of all apperence wise it looks very smart! Also the beautiful leather handle and bumper bar give the pushchair a sleek finish. With two large back wheels the mamas and papas sola 2 goes up from road to path with ease. I have used the carrycot, car seat and the seat unit with my pushchair and cannot fault them at all. The carrycot is made with such care and padded out very well for the comfort of your newborn while the seat unit is great for your growing child. The seat unit reclines twice by a pull of the clasp (much easier than messing about with a bit of string). The car seat clipping straight onto the frame (with adapters) is a life and time saver! Perfect for straight out of the car trips to the shop and walks! Another good point is the cup holder! It may be a little small for a travel mug but it’s fits a take away cup of tea in perfectly! In conclusion I love the Mamas and Papas Sola 2... very easy to push and very comfy for baby. I would definitely recomend this product to other mums.

This pushchair has been fantastic and planning to use it for my second child. It is used on a daily basis and had no problems with it. Like the fact you can have rear or front facing. Its easy to put up and down once you get the hang of it. The basket underneath is big enough to put all shopping under.

Bought this pram for my daughter and fell in love with it when we unboxed it. It’s lovely to push, comfy and the adjustable height on the handle means my husband and I are both comfortable pushing it.

We bought it with the carrycot and car seat too and it all clips together easily and my daughter looks very comfortable when in the buggy.

The only downside is it’s quite bulky when folded so takes up a lot of space in the car. We have a big car so it’s not a problem but it is something to bear in mind if you have a smaller car.

This is our 3rd pram as we couldn't get along with our first 2. It is easy to steer and looks and feels sturdy , comes in colour choices and modern looking. You have a few options on laying or sitting and front and forward facing. Easy to fold down apart from when parent facing , it folds but not compact and looks stuck out. Having to change seating position before folding isn't difficult just another thing you have to do. Another thing I found was that toys (even mamas And papas toys) don't clip on the bars very easily but all in all I really like this pram.

I had an Urbo with my first so knew I wanted another Mamas & Papas when I found out I was pregnant with my second as it lasted so well. I felt the Sola2 was more updated, 6 years on, and I’m not disappointed. The manoeuvrability of the cot and car seat is great when going on a long or short journey. It’s built well and the fabrics soft and well made. Try and get a bundle so you get everything for the first few years at once.
