My baby did find this product comfortable to sleep in for day time naps.
However, with a 4 year old in the I didn't feel safe leaving my baby in the sleepyhead head anywhere downstairs. For this reason, I found it hard to use the product.
A brilliant feature to the product is that the cover is washable. Also it come with a decent storage package.

What can I say? The Sleepyhead is expensive but boy is it worth every penny! My baby loves this and sleeps soundly in it in any room in the house. Great when you’re out and about and you need a makeshift cot. Does what it says on the tin. Wouldn’t be without it. - Strengths:

I love the Sleepyhead. I have it for my daughter and she loves it. We take it with us if we are going away, it's much easier than taking a travel cot or Moses Basket. The cover removes and it's easy washable. My daughter didn't like her Moses basket and loves to feel secure so this is perfect for her. Highly recommended! - Strengths:

I won one of these in a competition and found it really useful for my pram baby. Due to being in an incubator she was used to having the support around her and this was amazing! She slept right the way through and seemed more settled that just lying on the mattress. It fit in my crib not a problem and has some lovely designs too. It's a bit pricey for what it is, however the quality is effortless and all the covers can be stripped to wash and it comes out perfect every time. - Strengths:

So this was raved about when I had my first so we had to invest for my second. And that is what I did. Brought brand new from Mothercare, washed and ready for my new born. For the first four weeks it was a dream and really helped me get baby down in the day. However after about six weeks he looked so squished and didn't fit into this as much. He was a 10.7 baby but honestly thought i would get more use out of it. With the 36 degree heat going on at the moment he was just sweating so much in it and felt that it needed to be more breathable. Also if you get sick or milk or sweat onto the material it stains instantly and takes ages to dry. Having to buy another cover at £45 was even more expense.
Overall if you have a smaller baby brilliant and for winter a dream. Summer and bigger babies no. Maybe a design or wider babies and a waterproof underlay would be beneficial to say the least. - Strengths:

I love this product. My son will not sleep without it but I find it’s quite pricey and I really want the next size up but cannot afford over £200 for a new one. This was one of my best purchases though and would highly recommend - Strengths:

I was gifted one of these when I was pregnant which was lovely, they are very expensive so I probably wouldn’t have bought one myself. My little boy loves it and in the early days we used it when we had in on the sofa and in his cot. The sleepyhead is very firm to give plenty of support but soft and cosy for baby to lie in. He used to love sleeping in this and slept really well.
When they are really little and you put them in a cot using a sleepyhead gives you piece of. I don’t and also it does. Feel so big and daunting for baby either. - Strengths:

My daughter absolutely loves her sleepyhead! I bought this in passing as I saw it at a toddler and baby event so I thought why not. Since birth she’s always been a little sleeping beauty but she prefers to be swaddled or held to sleep. This is absolutely perfect as it keeps her nice and snug without it being too closed in on her. She still manages to stretch and wriggle about as well as falls asleep so well and so peacefully in it. I love the fact of how well it washes and goes back together it’s so easy! And there are loads of different covers you can also buy to go with it, it’s perfect! It’s so perfect for tummy time play too. She sleeps in this in her cot. It’s so light and durable that if we are playing downstairs she’ll take a nap on it or just lounge around wherever we are, this has even come on holiday abroad with us and to various locations in the UK. It fits into your suitcase perfectly. I am going to buy the bigger one next month as she is getting a little big for it now. I can’t wait to try out the bigger one. Overall I would buy this over and over and over and I would recommend this product to any expectant, new or experienced mother out there! It’s certainly got my vote.

Absolutely loved this product. On those nights when you think you’re not going to get any sleep and every time you put the baby down they cry this product worked like a dream.
We used in in the bed between me and my partner and had the comfort on knowing the baby was protected by the cushioned side, so soft and very comfortable.
Also great for naps and moving the baby from room to room when still asleep.
Only thing that bothered me was that when you wash the cover it was quite had to get it back in right. - Strengths:

Absolutely adore my sleepyhead. Thankfully it was gifted to me whilst pregnant for my little girl as it is quite pricey and I wouldn’t of spent the money on it myself but it really is a godsend and so worth the money! My little girl loves it & at almost 5 months old we’ve just brought it on holiday with us to France to stay with family & it’s kept her comfy and given her some home comfort! - Strengths:

The Sleepyhead is THE BEST baby product I bought for my son! I was sceptical as its expensive but after many sleepless nights and catnaps I caved and bought one. Originally my son wouldn't settle anywhere except on me, as soon as I would try and put him down he would wake and cry whether it was day naps or night time, as much as I loved cuddles I simply couldn't cuddle him 24/7. The moment I put my sleeping son in the Sleepyhead he wiggled a little to get comfy and stayed asleep for 4 hours! I started trying putting him down awake and he began to associate the sleepyhead pillow with naps so would settle himself. My son is very long for his age so the clip to open the bottom is very handy, it fits perfectly in his next to me crib and is easily portable for naps at grandparents or friends houses. You will not regret buying this product, it's such a shame it's so pricey though as this does put people off. - Strengths:

This has been a life saver, my son would wave his arms around madly while asleep and wake himself up but in the sleepyhead, although he would still wave his arms there was a barrier so he felt safe, a bit like a hug.
Its so easy to move the sleepy head around the house as he felt like he was in bed and had that continuity which really helped. I was able to go to dinner parties, my parents and see friends as the sleepyhead was easy to travel with.
Covers come off very easily to wash although i ended up putting muslins over the top to save washing as it is snug to put back into the cover. - Strengths:

I must say when you strip the fabric away I was astounded that the basic foundations of this product are just a padded base and a padded tubular length that goes around. It looks like nothing but when you use it, I feel it really envelopes your baby and makes them feel safe and secure.
I had twins so bought two, very expensive product and there are cheaper on the market but it did help with sleep. I would recommend that you regularly turn it as I ended up with mould under both of mine. Luckily it came away. Unfortunately the spare covers are very expensive
Great product but could be cheaper as babies only fit in until about 8 months - Strengths:

I bought a second hand one as I was not sure what the hype was about and didn’t want to spend over £100 if my little girl didn’t like it!
However, all the recommendations and reviews that I read were spot on-my little girl who struggled to sleep on her own (not on me) slept for 4.5 and 3 hours in her sleepyhead the first night we got it. She is also able to sleep in it during the day which means I can get things done!
It has helped so much, she is now able to sleep properly which means she is happier and I am getting more sleep too! It is a breathable cushion and seems to protect her by cocooning her. There is still quite a bit of space to move though!
When she outgrows it I will definitly look into the larger size! It’s lovely to see her sleeping so peacefully! - Strengths:

I always thought that sleepyheads was just another baby item that was a waste of money and not really needed. Until one day i was given one as a gift. We unboxed it and started using it right away. My little girl loved it. We also have a 1 year old so i put the sleepyhead in a travel cot so baby is safe from my 1 year old. You will know the feeling if u have 2 close in age. She sleeps in the sleepyhead for day time naps and sleeps brilliant and so cosy. Its very easy to wash and dry but to put the covers back on its a bit hard but managed it. Overall i think its a great item for newborns to feel snug and cosy. - Strengths:

Not sure what we would have done without this item. Worth every penny. Our baby was quite small when she was born and would not settle in her Moses basket as she liked to be snuggled. The Moses basket was also too big for her so the sleepyhead was an absolute godsend for us. From the minute we put our baby in it it felt like she relaxed, it’s soft, comfortable (even I have fallen asleep with my head on it) and very practical. Yes it is quite expensive but it is definitely worth the money, we have used since she was 3 days old to now and she is just over 6 months. The covers are expensive to buy but we just used the one it came with and washed, it washes up very well as do the foam inserts. It is also very safe as it has a higher edge so baby cannot roll out. When she was newborn we put her in the sleepyhead in our bed with us and now she is older we put her in it in her cot. I felt like if I needed to pop to the loo she was safe in this and couldn’t roll out. We will be purchasing the next size up which is double the price but our baby sleeps so well in it that it’s totally worth it. Would recommend it to absolutely everyone. Our best purchase to date. - Strengths:

The only thing I can put down with this is how expensive it is to buy. However this was absolutely amazing for when my daughter was first born. It’s cosey and enclosed coz that difficult womb to world transition. I love that you can change the covers for when those unavoidable accidents do happen, although it’s quite time consuming getting the covers on and off. But they wash fine. Wish it lasted longer, although my almost 5 month old is still ok in here with room. The next size up (sleepyhead grand) is also expensive to buy so not sure how we’ll work that one when she is eventually too big for her sleepyhead deluxe, best start saving. - Strengths:
