This isofix Base is easy to install but is rather heavy and bulky, feels sturdy and safe, when it is fitted is very secure and doesn’t move around at all, car seat fits on easily and is far less hassle than the standard car seat that secures with a seatbelt , I recommend this product wholeheartedly.

Purchasing an isofix base was definitely one of my best ideas. Having an Audi A1 strapping in the car seat manually each time was becoming stressful as the car is small. Since I have purchased the isofix base my little one just simply clock onto the base and off we go. Highly recommended! - Strengths:

I love the isofix base for the silver cross car seat however the car seat itself I do not like. My little boys head falls forward and no matter what I do to try and help him it always falls forward. - Strengths:

Pricey but the best thing we have bought so far. The easiness of clipping the car seat in and out and not having to faff about with the belt saved us time and sanity! Also, after having baby by c-section, it was so easy for me to clip in and out, rather than having to ask my OH to clip him in with the belt. No way I could have got through the first few months of recovery & getting out the house as easy without this :) - Strengths:

We brought this isofix bass after some deliberation. It was quite a lot of money. Especially when your already buying an expensive car seat and pushchair. But we decided to do it and it was the best decision we made! It makes life so much easier. And being a busy mom, products like this really make a difference. It makes the school run, popping to the shop and running errands so much easier! I couldn’t recommend this product enough. My partner fitted in in less than 10 minutes and said it was really simple... even I could of done it! The only negative is it takes up the entire seat so it can be a bit squashed if you have more than 2 children. But it works perfectly for our family of 4. - Strengths:

This was a brilliant piece of equipment for my car seat. I had a c section meaning it could be difficult to lean over and do a seat belt. This made it 100x easier also I fee it was more secure than just the seatbelt. - Strengths:

Using the ISO fix base for first time I can't believe how much easier it is to just get the car seat in and out the car no bending and stretching trying to fit with the seat belt. Definitely recommend using this base. - Strengths:

We were advised our car would be completely compatible with this isofix Base (obviously we were encouraged by the sales people) and we were naive. We find when our four month old sleeps in his car seat on the Isofix his head is permanently drooped and has been since the start so we took it out and now just fit the seat without the Base. Will probably be fine when he's a bit older but at present it's been a waste of money. - Strengths:

I don’t think the base feels very sturdy in the car, it feels like it’s not fit properly but I got it done professionally so I know it’s correct.
But it’s really easy to just click the car seat in and out - only thing it it’s hard for me to reach the button due to the car seat being really close to the passenger seat, but that’s easily fixed by bringing the seat forward. - Strengths:
