Absolutely love the isofix base. It makes getting the car seat in and out of my 3 door Citroen much easier!!! It’s a little pricey to say every different car seat has to have its own specific base but you can’t put a price on safety when it come to your little one! Would definitely recommend to other mums, dads etc! - Strengths:

We had the isofix base for baby no.3.. what a difference! Absolutely no fuss getting baby in & out of car. The system made the car seat feel so much more secure in the car, ultimately putting this worrying mama at ease! This base is perfect for what it is, it's easy to use and It saves so much time and effort now were unable to use it it takes us a lot longer to strap her in! Which brings me to a weakness of this product , unfortunately the pole on the base just didn't stretch long enough for our Tiguan so we're unable to use the base anymore , I also feel it's a tad pricey ( like all the bases tho) considering the car seat doesn't cost much more than the actual base! - Strengths:

Im really glad we bought this product to go with the silvercross car seat. It instantly put my mind at ease that my baby was safe in the back seat. The base was relatively easy to install, however a bit heavy duty to take out of your car to put it in your partners if travelling in a different car. Quite expensive as well, but for me you can not out a price in your babies safety. I really recommend this product - Strengths:

Super easy to install and move from one car to another. We have a coupe so was worried that we would struggle getting our little one in and out with ease but her car seat slots straight into the isofix with no problems.
The only downside for me is that it can be quite noisy and it rattles when going over bumps or poorly surfaced roads. - Strengths:

This is our second one as we took the first one back as it rattled at every slight bump in the road, we were told it’s a common fault so given a replacement. This one does it too but not as bad. The ease of the product outweighs the occasional rattle as only having a 3 door car would be a nightmare trying to get the seatbelt round. - Strengths:

I used it for both my kids. It's 2 years old and still working well. Easy locks in. Easy to get the car seat out too. To fit it in the car is easy too. This has made my life so much easier, knowing I haven't got to rely on just a seatbelt. - Strengths:

I brought this with the simplicity car seat, it was really easy to put into my car and attach the car seat onto. The only problem I had was my back seats slant slightly so babies head would fall forward. This stopped a little when taking out the isofix. - Strengths:

We bought the silver cross Isofix base for our first daughter in 2015 and are now using it for our second daughter born earlier this year. The base is both secure and sturdy and has provided reassurance the car seat is fixed in safely. The product is easy to use and the car seat clips in with ease. The only downside to the isofix base is the weight of it. My husband and I use the base in both of our cars and the fixture is heavy which was particularly difficult to lift following having a caesarian. Overall this is a quality product which provides a safe car journey for your baby. - Strengths:

Bought the base for the car seat as you can’t have enough protection for your little ones when in the car and oh my I defiantly wouldn’t look back, it is a great value for money and so secure! These are great once fitted correctly and all locked in place. So easy to pop the car seat on and you have the green lights to show the car seat is all secure. Red light indicates car seat is not on properly. The only downside to this is taking car seat back off when the lever doesn’t unclip the car seat properly. - Strengths:

This Silvercross isofix base is a god send for securing my Simplicity car seat into my car. It is much more secure than just using a seatbelt! I find it really easy to clip the car seat into/out of the base. It even indicates with a green 'light' when the car seat is correctly engaged, which is a fab security function giving great reassurance. Can't really recommend this product enough. - Strengths:

Bought the isofix and was so excited to try it with my silvercross car seat. Following the instructions we were surprised to see how easy it was to fit. The green indicators are so obvious that you wouldn’t be unsure if they were lit. The arm to go to the floor of the car also is so easy to adjust but feels incredibly sturdy. Baring in mind this product is quite expensive, the quality of it is brilliant so I guess you are paying for the quality! It’s so easy to use , it made my first few months so much easier when going out in the car , I didn’t have to reach over which was handy! Plus the coloured traffic light system is brilliant and what I mean by that is when the car seat isn’t attached to the base correctly it’s red but when it clicks into place it turns green so even if you don’t hear the click of the base is green then you know it’s in place and safe and secure! - Strengths:

This product makes life with a newborn baby so much easier, with one click the car seat is attached to the isofix base without the need to belt the car seat in. The isofix vase is easy to install and once fixed into place is so easy to use. There are indicators to show everything is installed correctly. I love this product. We nearly didn’t purchase the base as we were happy to strap the car sit in, but I’m so glad we did. It’s perfect to go with our silver cross simplicity car seat The base is so secure and the light indicators shows that it is fitted correctly which is a huge bonus. It’s so simple to use and as a busy mum who is always out and about in the car it makes going out a lot less stressful.
