Love this car seat , very adaptable can be used as a carrier or can be used to go into pram wheels with use of the adapters
Easy to insert and take off the isofix base
My baby loves it as it is very cosy and will fall to sleep in this car seat in the car .
Nice to use if baby is asleep in the car seat you can just transfer it onto the pram wheels. - Strengths:

Lovely car seat
Matches pram
A little heavy to carry but safe and comfortable for baby. It’s a little frustrating that the hood doesn’t come any further down than in the picture as does not form shading for baby or protect from sun or rain and no rain shield comes with it - Strengths:

My daughter doesn’t ever seem to be comfortable in the car seat when first in it. The sunshade is useless and it doesn’t cover as much as I’d like. The car seat attaches straight to my pushchair which is extremely convenient so all is not bad. - Strengths:

The inside cushioning is great for safety, harness seems fairly easy to undo
- Weaknesses:
Hood isn’t big enough. When it’s raining or sunny it doesn’t cover over the baby enough

Is a solid build, fits perfect in any car (with isofix). Makes it hassle free for anyone with a baby
Hood isn’t big enough. When it’s raining or sunny it doesn’t cover over the baby enough So sun goes in the babies eyes or rain covers the baby.
The seat itself makes the baby sit so far upright that it’s chin is touching its chest so makes it more difficault to breath normally and sit comfortably. I would suggest the seat needs to lay flat a bit more. - Strengths:

Sunshade doesn't protect baby from sun
- Comfortable

This car seat is great and one of the main reasons I chose it was that it wasn't too heavy compared to other brands. It's really secure and easy to fit into isofix, but a big no no for me is that the sunshade doesn't reach far enough over the baby to protect the baby from the sun. It also doesn't turn in the car alike some I see, making it difficult to put baby in as he's got bigger - Strengths:

Heavy, upright, needed to purchase additional insert for newborn.

I received this car seat as part of a bundle with my pram so it was good value for money and I could use it on my pram chassis. However, this is all I can say that's positive about it. The car seat is very heavy even without having a baby in it so lifting it out of the car and on to the chassis is hard work and I have ended up avoiding doing so. The same goes for carrying it from the car to my flat (2nd floor) it's far too heavy. I have tried alternatives from relatives and friends that are much easier to carry. The position of the seat is also very upright and my baby was rarely comfortable in it. Finally when my baby was newborn we had to buy an additional insert for him to be secure even though this product is advertised as suitable from newborn. I won't be using this seat for a second baby. - Strengths:

This car seat came with my silver cross pioneer pram as part of a bundle. The only good thing about having this seat was that I could put it on my chassis with the adaptors provided, other than that I do not have anything particularly positive to say about it. The seat is very very heavy in comparison to other seats I have since used, and tried from friends. The stuffing in the seat is very limited and therefore does not seem very comfortable at all. The position of the seat seems as though your baby is sitting up a lot and therefore, my daughter’s head often fell forward when sitting in this seat and falling asleep. I had to put some blankets under the back rest of the seat to help so her back wasn’t so arched. Over all it just doesn’t seem comfortable for babies, my daughter cried every time I put her in this. We now have another different brand and style seat, and she never cries in this and her head never falls forward when sleeping in the new seat. Such a shame because silver cross is a great brand. - Strengths:

Currently using this car seat I’ve never had a problem with it my baby has used it from day one. He seems very comfortable in it as he’s happy when in it. I like the fact that it has the adapter for the pram wheels so I don’t have to disturb him every time we get out the car and it’s quick and easy to mount. It’s also very quick to put in the car when you have the isofix base which I would definitely recommend buying. - Strengths:

We used this car seat with my son combined with the isofix
It fixed on to our pram frame using adaptors too which was so handy when he was small as there's nothing worse than waking a sleeping newborn baby to put them in to a carry cot
I did find it to be quite an upright position even with the newborn insert but it seemed to be a lot roomier than other brands our friends had
It’s quite heavy to carry around once your baby is in there but it feels strong, sturdy and most important safe!
We plan on using it again for our second baby who is due in March - Strengths:

I didn’t feel like this car seat was suitable for newborns or small babies. My baby felt unsupported and uncomfortable. Now he is 5 months old he fits in it a lot better but I still find it doesn’t seem like the most comfortable. It is also extremely heavy itself without even having a baby in it! Good for the price, but I wouldn’t use again with second child. -

Is car seat is suitable for both sex babies and can be used as they grow. The padded insert on the bottom supports newborns and can be removed as the gold grows older. The head ready slides up to extend also. It’s extremely simple to use. - Strengths:

I didn’t like this at all for the first few weeks of my little girls life as I found her positioning in it horrid. It made me quite worried to be perfectly honest as she seemed very slumped in it. Now that she has better head control she seems more comfortable. It’s very easy to move from car and to use the attachments to clip onto the pram for quick trips. My worst thing about it would probably be the weight as it really is a cumbersome seat to lift once the baby is in it too. Quite expensive. Not sure if I would buy again. - Strengths:

The silver cross simplicity car seat is simple and easy to use. It has blue guidelines for seatbelt use and clicks in easily for the isofix. Very soft padding and easily adjustable straps.
Unfortunately I found the head support for newborns not very good, I had to buy a separate cushion to stop my sons head from tilting to far to the side of too far forward, it was quiet scary when I realised how far his head tipped to the side. Please make sure you use a separate newborn insert to protect your little ones neck. - Strengths:

Don’t get me wrong this car seat looks fantastic, we bought the Brompton special edition from mothercare however our son was extremely uncomfortable in it. He cries every time he has to go it, When he was a newborn this car seat gave me such anxiety as I felt his chin was on his chest & closing off his airway. He is now 6 months & I still find when he falls asleep this happens. He is also a big boy & I have found that the leg straps dig into him when the straps are pulled tight. - Strengths:

I really don’t like the angle of this car seat. I find it very upright so little one’s head falls forward and they look uncomfortable, especially when they are newborn. The canopy is also quite small so it offers little sun protection. It is lightweight and easy to manoeuvre in and out of the car. Overall it isn’t the worst but don’t think I would buy this again or recommend it. - Strengths:

I got this car seat as part of a travel system. I had noticed my baby was quite upright and if she fell asleep in the car her head fell forward. Then I saw another brand of car seat and how much a flatter that one allowed the baby to be. Now the silver cross car seat is in the loft. - Strengths:

I'm struggling so see why I'm only seeing positive reviews for this carseat. I love it's appearance and it is comfortable to carry, clips into the base easily and onto the pram adapters etc... however. In terms of the purpose it is designed for, although it may pass safety checks in case of an accident, I don't think it puts babies in a very good position. Especially in that first 4 months when they are so small and delicate. I don't think it has very good neck support at all and the actual seating position isn't great. It is too upright. I got this as part of a package deal with the silvercross pioneer pram. I wouldn't use it again. In fact I have sold it. If I have another baby in the future I will happily use the pram, but I will buy a different car seat. - Strengths:

Absolutely love this car seat! I love how you can choose whether to have the cover over the bottom or not! Lots of padding which ensures maximum comfortable for the baby! Once the baby is in it, it can become heavy to lift but it’s not a deal breaker at all! - Strengths:

When looking at car seats didn’t like the look of overs and it went with out pram but it’s extremely heavy compared to overs and when we brought it the lady said it’s the least padded for very small babies so for me apart from the look of it trying to lift it around was just to stressful and waste of money prefer the cheaper brands - Strengths:

Never ever had a problem with the products and I feel baby is very safe in these products. Love silver cross! - Strengths:
