Strong and looks good. It clips on to my pram too which makes quick trips much easier
- Weaknesses:
You need to use an extra car seat "head protector" and the hood is pretty useless. Heavy too

- Value for money
- Easy to use

I honestly love this car seat, it came in a set I got from Mothercare with the pram base, carry cot and pushchair. It clips on to the push chair base which is so handy. The only problem I had with it was that when my son was first born I had to buy and extra cushion thing to go round his head because he looked so uncomfortable and not very safe, and the hood part doesn't come down fair enough to really do anything - Strengths:

This is a value for money and is brilliant and easy to use only down fall I found it that once you baby gets to a certain age they become uncomfortable in the chair. But other then then it is very adaptable and when using it in with the pushchair part it is easy to use - Strengths:

We are first time parents and bought the silver cross simplicity car seat as part of a deal along with the silver cross wayfarer pram. The seat is strong and sturdy and we do feel that our baby is safe in it. The safety belts are strong and easy to loosen and tighten, with a compartment in the rear of the seat where they can be adjusted as your baby grows. There are adapters available for the seat to be fastened on to the pram chassy, this is easily done although we do find the seat a little on the heavy side even without the baby in it. We also felt that the inserts inside the seat could be a little more supportive for newborns, although our baby has always been happy and comfortable in her seat. The seat can be attached to an isofix base with ease (sold separately) but also can be belted in to the car using the car safety belt. We use both methods as we only have one base which is kept in one car, We are happy that the seat is attached safely using both methods. Overall we are happy with the simplicity car seat. - Strengths:

poor design, not comfortable for small babies

Seat too deep with very sudden steep incline of head section which for small babies pushes they’re heads too far forward and cuts off they’re airways.
My LO was so uncomfortable and after going into toysrus, mothercare, HV clinic and talking to our midwife we could not use the car seat as no one could find how to make adjustments to make my baby safe and comfortable. Silvercross state that it is suitable for babies bigger than 4 lbs however this is definitely not true! A lot of money to spend for a product not suitable for all babies. Mothercare Ziba car seat for £40 is so much better! - Strengths:

I have this car chair it was part of the travel system with my buggy. The car chair is comfortable and my little girl falls to sleep every time we go in the car . It is a light heavy even with no baby in it and the hood is very small so doesn't really help with the sun or rain . - Strengths:

I loved this car seat, i used it from when my daughter was first born up until she grow out of it at 16 months. It's prefect for newborns because of the comfort wedge which you remove as they get older. - Strengths:

I got the carseat as part of the bundle so i think it worked out as good value for money, it suited my needs well as it just straps in with the seatbelt and is easy to strap in and take out and i was able to use it in lots of different cars. Its isnt suited for long term like some carseats that grow with your child so i will have to buy another eventually but i dont mind as i got it free with the bundle. The hood seems abit pointless as it doesnt block the sun or anything. The carseat itself is very basic but it is functional and i lile that it can fit onto my pushchair too.

I love this car seat and the ease of it attaching to my travel system. My little girl has had a love hate relationship with it and as she's so young I'm not sure whether this was due to comfort or the fact my little girl doesn't even like to be restrained by clothes haha so scary seat is a step too far. I definitely would have used this longer we had growth room still at 10 months for her to stay in this seat but got a deal on the next stage up so we've taken the plunge. The only thing I would say but is that it's quite heavy to carry but this I have found the case to be with all infant carriers so isn't exclusive to silver cross. - Strengths:

I chose to purchase this car seat because I had the Silvercross Wayfarer pushchair which is compatable with the Simplicity car seat.
I found this car seat to be really easy to use, easy to strap into the car and easy to attach to the base of the pram. It also appeared comfortable with a cosy toes to keep baby warm. However the hood is short and on sunny days I had to use a parasol to keep the sun out of my daughter's eyes. - Strengths:

I bought this car seat as a bundle deal with the silver cross pioneer pram/pushchair and initially I thought it looked good but when I used it for the first time I instantly disliked it. Firstly the straps are really hard to tighten and no matter how much I tried, I never felt like the straps were tight enough on my son, which made me feel really unsafe using it so rarely did. I didn't like the recline either, I felt compared to other newborn car seats it had a strange recline, although that may be the way I viewed it? I disliked the handle, it doesn't have a setting for it to put a toy on for baby to play, it's either in baby's face or right above the head. Finally I disliked the hood, it is really pointless and offers no protection from sun or anything, it just gets in the way really. I didn't really like anything about this car seat, we had a Hauck for my first child and I liked that. Considering this is a silver cross product I was actually shocked as you associate them with high end products while this felt like a low end product. This I feel is what it's named after, simplicity, it's a simple, no frills car seat that with a simple few changes could be better. If you are buying a silver cross pushchair, I would go for a different car seat. - Strengths:

This is a lovely car seat but bigger than some meaning it is more bulky and heavier than most. However baby seems very comfortable and safe. Price is a bit high, this is a better offer when you can get the travel system deal. - Strengths:
