I decided to use a nappy bin for baby number 2 instead of a regular bin, and it was worth the purchase, as it holds the smell in very well. However, the refills are very expensive, so I've started to only use it for poops. Overall, I would recommend it. - Strengths:

The nappy bin offers a great protection from the smell and holds lots of nappies so only need to be emptied every few days. Keeps nappies compact so saves on bin space.
It’s easy to set up, use and refill the liner.

Excellent product. Great for covering nappy smell. Bags are easy to remove and can be taken straight to black bin with no mess. Can buy 3 refills for 8pounds from internet and bags last a reasonble amount of time. Good quality and easy to use. - Strengths:

I didn’t think this was value for money when my baby was little as re-fills are quite expensive. However as your little one gets bigger, what u think were smelly nappies as a little one.... you soon discover once food is added into the mix, the smell becomes ALOT WORSE!!!
That’s when I decided I needed to bite the bullet and get a bin.
It’s so simple to use, looks quite stylish (we have ours by our kitchen bin) locks in all smells. I still put nappies in the bags before putting them in the bin though. To keep costs down, I only put dirty nappies in this bin. Wet ones just go in their bags and into the normal bin. Doing this makes the bin re-fills last sooooo much longer.
So simple to empty and re-fill cartrage.
As I said, I was under the impression it was too over priced for the re-fills to be worth it... but a nice smelling house from dirty nappies is priceless!!!

I have yet to use this product. However on researching I have found the refills to be rather expensive.

My mum bought me this shortly after giving birth. Overall I do think it's a great product to have, all I do is put the happy in a nappy bag put it in the in and push the nappy down. When I open the lid no smell comes up which is great.
The only issues i have really is pushing the nappies down and it doesn't take long to fill it so the roll of bag doesn't last long at all. I also find that the replacement bags for this product really expensive - Strengths:

I brought this because we didn’t want our dog ripping up nappies from the black bag (his a naughty doggy sometimes) it serves its purpose. The refills are expensive but I over came this by just using a small scented bin bag and it works great. - Strengths:

It’s a very good idea, and more environmentally friendly rather than using nappy bags. Fortunately for us we found cheaper refills which are compatible. So we could afford to carry on using it - Strengths:

We bought this whilst living in a second floor flat and figured it would be easier than having to go down stairs and outside with nappies after every change, which it was, we were so happy we bought it! It's a good size so it doesn't take up too Much room and it's sleek design doesn't make it stand out in A nursery. It was easy to use and empty, but it did smell a bit even if you just left it until the end of the day to empty it! The refills were quite expensive too, they go on offer sometimes so if you spot an offer it's generally best to get them when you see them!
All in all it served it's purpose for us and it's handy to have if you need it but cost effectively it's probably better to just get nappy bags and take them outside if you can do so easily. - Strengths:

It was a gift...a handy one. But when i ve started to order the refills, I 've found them quite expensive and ineffective. The plastic bag holder for the refills are too soft and lets too much bag in. ..so It won't isolate the smell as well. For now I buy fragranced nappy bags and bin the nappies like that. It works, no nasty smells like this and it's quite cost effective as well. It's a good sized bin & can be hidden behind the curtains. - Strengths:

Got this when I was pregnant the first time round as I stay in a top floor flat and didn't fancy going up and down all those stairs when changed a nappy! This saved my little legs from all that walking lol. It keeps the smell away from your normal bin in the home so it doesn't stink the house out when you open it! This bin keeps the smell in and keeps it all separate! I look online for sales and offers on the replacements so jump at them when there s good deals on and bulk buy! If it's easy to access outside bin I wouldn't bother with this. Great for people who live in flats. - Strengths:

I brought this product whilst pregnant as I thought it would save me time taking nappies outside regularly to the bin. However within a couple of days of my baby being born and using the product I realised that it was no different to bagging the nappies in normal nappy bags and putting them in the bin. The refills are expensive and it isn’t the easiest thing to change the bags each time. I would not bother getting this product again for subsequent babies - Strengths:

We have been using this for 6 months now and love it. It sits next to the changing table and nappies are placed directly in it. There is no smells from the bin. it makes little nappy sausages which is amusing. It holds quite a few nappies and we change ours twice a week.
However, the refill liners are quite expensive so we found a cheap alternative on amazon. It takes a few extra minutes to refill but worth saving money. Also, to keep away smells when emptying the bin, we also drop a little bin powder in the bottom of the bin.

I've had both the Simplee Sangenic and the sangenic tec bins. The Simplee is exactly what it says, it's simple. The cartridges although a little costly (the bin itself is very inexpensive) are very easy to put in and last for quite a few changes. The Sangenic Tec twists off each individual nappy, which the Simplee does not. This makes it a little less effective than the Tec at keeping the wet nappy smell down. I cannot comment on its performance with dirty nappies as those go straight out to the main bin. Its clean and fresh looking and doesn't look out of place at all. Emptying it is very easy with a hidden blade that slices the bag, and then you just tie it off and fill again.

Love my tommee tippee bin, it’s hygienic and locks away any smells. Can hold a number of Nappies. You do have to lay out money to buy the refills but you get a fair amount of nappies in each one. I’ve got two of these, one upstairs and one downstairs. - Strengths:

I thought it would wrap each nappy individually however it uses so much plastic to do this and once you take it out they all unravel anyway so now we only wrap them at the end of the day in order to save plastic. But on the plus side it definitely keeps the smells locked in. - Strengths:

The bin is decent size. The bin is Very easy to use. Great for holding messy nappies with No more nasty smells . I'll always use it until my baby is old enough to leave nappies behind. Definitely recommend the product. - Strengths:

We brought this item as we live in an apartment so going up and down the stairs with every nappy would be to much and we didn't want our home to smell, i'm very pleased with this item, the bin lets no bad smells out, its a good size, and the colour will blend into almost any room, this bin is easy to set up and to also clean.. as i said above unless you find the refills on offer they can seem a bit much after a while, however i would 100% buy again. - Strengths:

I bought one of these after being recommended one by a friend. They are so easy to use and handy to have by your changing mat. They work by having a hygiene disc inside of them which is replaceable. One came free with the bin when I purchased it, however the nice smell that masked the unpleasant smells soon wore off and when I tried to find the replacement discs to buy, they were nowhere to be seen. I think this line of bin has been discontinued so be aware of that if you purchase it because I've only ever seen the replacement discs at a very high price. I must say that although I no longer have a disc in my bin the smell is completely contained in the bin unless you open the bin lid so it is very good in that sense. - Strengths:

We bought this product In lidl and it was reduced in their baby event. It's great. We live in a flat and don't have heaps of room so it's great as the bin fits beside our household rubbish bin. It's easy to empty and refill. It's great for holding a lot of dirty nappies and also saving smelling up your normal household bin
The nappy bin doesn't smell which is great. Highly recommend this product.
