The machine is nice and small. Easy to move around to any room. I love that it isn't pink! But could be a more neutral colour like yellow or green.
The string on it is useful. As you can hang it near by and leave it on the timer.
You can change the volume, which is a nice feature. I like it on the loudest one to drown any background noise.
It has three timing setting and can be easily adjusting.
The light function is also a nice touch. I prefer the light on continuously.
My baby girl has gone to sleep with white noise before. So I used this option again. The shhh option didn't do anything for her. But I will try again.
Overall it's a nice little machine with battery and charger option. I'll be able to bring it on holiday and she can have it for sleepovers with my mum. - Strengths:

So I received the sound machine to test today in the post and tried it out straight away. The sounds are very realistic and I like the fact you can control the volume without to much trouble. The soft light wasn’t needed as it was day time but will be lovely tonight. My 10 weeks old was a little fussy so I pressed the volume up a bit and tried the shh sound but he didn’t go much on that, so I tried the heartbeat and he was instantly silent! Sadly he didn’t go to sleep but he was laying happily listening to the sound for a good half hour without a peep. - Strengths:

My other half bought our son this when it was the Sainsburys baby event so it was on offer for about a tenner. Our son suffered horrifically with colic but this helped him settle almost instantly! There are three different sounds you can have, white noise, heart beat or placenta noise (I think that’s what it is anyway) and you can change both the volume and the length of time it plays for by simply twisting it. There are options of 10,20 or 30mins. It also has a nightlight on it which you can have on constant or intermittent. We didn’t leave it on but it was handy when needing to change a nappy in the middle of the night. Unfortunately we found that when the original batteries died we couldn’t get it to work again, we tried several different types of batteries but non of them worked so we had to bin it.
Pros
Lightweight, great for taking out and about
Various noises
Various time settings
Nightlight
Good value for money
Settles baby instantly
Cons
Didn’t work with any new batteries
Would be better if the noise gradually faded out but instead it just stops quickly.
We really liked it, just wish it hadn’t broken so quickly, we only had it for about 6weeks. - Strengths:

This has been absolutely brilliant for my baby who loves a shhhh. She settles off to sleep so much better easier with this little handy machine. It’s the perfect size to carry around in the pram when we’re on the go. Love the design with the little night light in it. Not too bright. Great to be able to adjust volume. Sadly can’t just switch off once baby no longer needs it on. Either have to let run for selected time (which is adjustable) or flick through the sounds to turn it off. Would highly recommend it still though. - Strengths:
