I bought this product for my son as he was in special car baby unit after being very poorly when he was born, he looked uncomfortable in his car seat before ordering this item. Once the reducer was in the maxi-cosi car seat my son looked a lot more comfortable and snug. It is well padded and can be easily removed and washed if baby is sick ect, my little boy has a milk allergy so our reducer was washed quit a fair bit, when it has been washed it doesn’t loose it’s snap and it doesn’t go flat. Brought this to put in to our car seat for when our first child was coming out of hospital as she was premature and the car seat looked far too big for her.
After putting this addition in she looked so much comfier and safer in the seat , would definitely recommend using for anyone that has a small/premature baby!
It is really easy to remove from the car seat and easy to clean (very important for us with a baby that suffers with allergies and sickness!) - Strengths:

With this new Maxi-Cosi 'Seat Reducer', your new-born will be cosily installed in the Maxi-Cosi Citi car seat, as in a nest thanks to its comfortable padding.
As part of the new Maxi-Cosi fabric collection, this Maxi-Cosi seat reducer has no Maxi-Cosi logo printed on the fabric. It is perfect to use during the first months of your baby to support their neck when they are too small to fit in an infant carrier.
The seat reducer is easily installable into the baby car seat 3-points seat belt and removable when baby has grown up enough, not to require any extra padding.
