My little one loved this from a young age as it helped him sit and look around as he played. He loved feeling all the bits around the ring. Ended up being a pretty good toy, storage when cleaning up at night .
Initially we put my little girl in this at 4 months when she had started to sit up, the shape was really good to help her to learn and sit up unaided. We did use blankets to start with but as she got bigger the ring supported her. She has started exploring the sensory parts on the ring but I think there could have been more activities around the ring to entertain my little girl. Overall it’s a great aid for supporting her to sit up and we have had lots of use out of it.
Our little boy absolutely loved his play ring! We had from a few weeks so used it partially inflated for him to lay in, ours came with the play arch attachment which fascinated him. As he got older we inflated the ring more to help him with sitting, he was very keen to sit from an early age so this was great to support him. As it’s just inflatable ring inside a cover it’s completely portable, we took ours to visit family & friends and even packed it in the suitcase to take on holiday. This was definitely one of our best buys.
This product is great! I am convinced it helped my baby confidentially sit up. I don’t have to worry about her toppling over and hurting herself as she is supported all the way round.
The animals and textures around the edge add a lot of interest and fun things to learn and play with.
Sage place for non sitting babies, cover comes off easily for cleaning
Weaknesses:
Takes a while to blow it up.

This ring is a family favourite.it has been used by myself as a baby and now I have one for my daughter.it is a great alternative to the new style sit me ups.the ring itself is a little annoying to blow up specially if you do not have room to keep it inflated.the cover is easy to remove and stick it in the washing machine.the cover has a lovley farm animal theme.and has different sensory items like flaps to lift, squeaky noses and crinkle noises to keep baby entertained.i also like to use this ring as a aid for tummy time.its a great item with many uses.
This is a really attractive product. It's bright and the range of textures make it interesting and appealing for the babies. We purchased this as our baby constantly wanted to sit up, and wouldn't play on his playmat anymore. The ring is supportive and provides a safe space to play for babies just learning to sit up independently. The fabric seems good quality and robust, and the baby seems really comfy too. We usually keep the playnest blown up in the living room as it is used so frequently, but it does take up a lot of space. It was easy to inflate and would be easy to transport if this was needed. I would recommend this product and feel that it is good value for money.
Reassurance that baby has soft cushion should they fall backwards.
Weaknesses:
Could do with a few loops to allow me to attach my own toys.

I bought the play nest for my second child as I needed a safe play space which clearly marked a boundary for my eldest child. My youngest was at the stage of being able to sit up but would sometimes fall backwards or to the side so this really helped reassure me that he'd be ok if I was unable to run to him in time to break his fall. I liked that the ring was padded at the bottom and this allowed me to add a few toys to keep his interest. That said, he was particularly fond of the crinkly textures and always had a smile if I squeaked the ducks beak. Loved the bright colours and the general farm scene. Ideally, I'd have liked if there were a few loops on the nest that would allow me to attach some of my own toys as often my toys would slide down into the bottom of the play nest and my son would not see these easily. I also felt that the fabric could, perhaps, be a little bit thicker so that the inflatable ring was a bit more protected from punctures (unfortunately we got a small hole but repaired with glue). Although we only needed this for a few months, it was well worth the money and had the added bonus of being space saving when deflated.
Very portable and keeps babies safe whilst sitting

Maybe can add some music?

This is a great product and gives peace of mind whilst your baby is sitting that they will not fall back and injure themselves. It is very light and portable so you can easily move it from room to room unlike jumperoos etc. The only thing I would possibly add is something a bit more interactive like music?
My 8 mo really likes it ! easy to inflate and use, bright and colourful, she loves playing in it.
Quite big when inflated, you need some space to store it.
My toddler has had this from a very young age, she loves it still. It looks as new as the day i bought it, washes well and hasnt deflated. Colours made her curious to look at when she was young and it animals on hers made her move around more. She just lies in it now when she's feeling a bit tired.
Had one of these for my son and he'd spend ages happily in there playing with his toys. It was a great support for him to learn to sit up in, very soft as it's inflatable. I knew I could pop him in there while I made a drink or toilet break and he'd be safe and secure. Only downside is, the part where baby sits could be bigger but overall, it was great! Loved it
This is a great item to use for 3 months plus as they get a little more interested in colour and noises
It's great to also have a few pit balls or rattle soft toys in there for them to reach and helps with not getting flat head from laying down a lot on hard surfaces as it's cushioned with air
Has a great angle for them to see the tv too especially whilst ur working out :)
Best product I've tried so far,my little girl loves the different sounds and textures to touch and play. Great first distraction for sitting up by the safety of the ring. Added bonus for tummy time.
Great colours and patterns to keep babies attention
Weaknesses:
Once mobile babies can flip out of this.

This was one of the best things we bought. We jokingly called it the ring of neglect - basically it meant it kept by son happily entertained so I could drink a cup of coffee. Which we know is Golden. Great for babies who are nearly sitting and who are sitting. My son loved having his toys around his legs where he could reach them without them rolling away. The inflatable sides make it nice and soft when babies flop over. Also lots of fun things to play with on the ring itself. Once my son could actively get himself up onto the side on the ring on his front we found he could flip the whole thing up. So you need to sit close to babies using this. Photo is of it deflated as my son is too large for it now.
My daughter loved to go in this ring, she loved all the colours of the play ring. It helped her to sit up and my mind was at ease when she was sat it in knowing that she wouldn’t hurt herself. She liked to sit in the ring and play with small toys, that way they were right in front of her. It is a great product, easy to use, clean and store!
Would highly reccomend this! Really helped my little one learn how to sit unaided. Was a safe place to put him while I tidied up. He loved the touch and feel things around the edge. Would use again. Reasonable price.
I bought these for both my children - they are a little expensive but ideal to put them in to encourage sitting up and somewhere different for them. Due to the big ring around the child it is very safe obviously if the child isn’t crawling yet. It can only be used for a short period of time whilst the little one is learning to sit on thier own. The ring is inflatable so it’s easy to store when not bring used anymore although it takes up quite a bit of space when it’s inflated. I put a couple of toys in with my child when they were sitting in it to play with.
My mom got this my little girl and when she was little she loved it. It was a safe place for her to start sitting up but also if she fell over she was safe, not to big to store away and good for taking on holidays
My daughter absolutely loves sitting in her nest. She absolutely loves colour and has started exploring new textures so this is absolutely perfect for her!
It's a really good product to help babies learn to sit and play on their own, since it has air cushion all around there is no fear of baby tuppling over and bumping.
It’s a very handy product. Nice and comfy for baby and has lots of little fiddly sensory farm related bits round the sides. Ours punctured but Galt instantly sent us out a replacement tube. I found that the threads in the bottom pulled easily and the major issue I had is when my son was big enough he flipped himself out of this and gave himself self quite a bump. Problem is, how do you work out when to stop using it?! I was supervising him when it happened but it was all very quick! I suppose if you surrounded it with cushions it’d be ok but that sort of defeats the purpose!
It’s quite bulky too.. Alrhough lightweight so easy to pop out of the way on top of something!
It's a brilliant product in theory, baby can sit up to play in it but at 5 months old he can also tip it over when he stretches his legs!! Also bulky to store and not actually very supportive.
I purchased the playnest second hand at a good price. I find it much better than some of the smaller “sit me ups” as it will last baby well into toddlerhood.
The colours are lovely and bright and the cover is washable. My babies feel very safe and secure in it and cannot tip the best over no matter how far they lie back.
The toy bars on the other hand I found a waste of time. They’re difficult to put and keep together and the toys attached are at an awkward angle/height for babies to actually be able to play.
Easy to use. Easy to store when not in use. Fun for baby. Colourful.

Not used for too long

A really useful product to have as it can help baby learn to sit up whilst making sure they are entertained, easy to set up and easy to store when not in use.
Baby and I absolutely love this Playnest! We have had it for about a month now and it still captures her attention and her imagination and she can sit in it in her play pen for a while whilst she lets Mummy get on with things around the house. It's a great size for a 6 month old who is already sitting up, there's lots of space for them to sit and change position. The inflatable ring is safe and secure and means that my daughter won't hurt herself if she suddenly loses her balance. I'm not entirely convinced that it would be suitable from newborn as it seems a little too big. The only discouraging part about it is that the ring comes deflated and either you pump it up using a bicycle pump or you own two lungs. It took me ages to blow up manually and by the end I couldn't feel my cheeks, however for the amount of usage baby has got out of it, the numb cheeks were absolutely worth it. I'm absolutely thrilled with this product and would recommend to anyone.
