I absolutely love my silver cross. After finding out I was pregnant after trying for seven years, My husband and I went around Mothercare trying out all the prams. The silver cross pioneer was the one that stood out for us the most. It was lovely to steel nice and sturdy and really good Quality. I would highly recommend this pram any of my family and friends Who are expecting. - Strengths:

Have been using my Silver cross pioneer for 4 months and bought it as my Mum said Silver Cross were the best! I love how stylish it looks and how easy it is to put up and fold down. I love that it has a car seat that matches the whole pram that clips onto the frame, rather than having to have a different branded car seat to the rest of the pram. It's so easy to push and steer and I get a lot of comments about how nice it looks! The only issue is it's bulkier than other prams (my sister has the Wayfarer which is slimmer) and it didn't fit in the boot of my car!! - Strengths:

I have been using this pushchair for the last year. I have enjoyed using it initially with the carrycot which was perfect when taking my child on holiday and then I switched to the normal base. It is a classy product and manoeuvre well. It can be tough to get over hard surfaces however on the whole I’m generally pleased with it - Strengths:

Very sophisticated and pretty to look at. The wheels are good for pushing on different terrains. The pram frame is very bulky and takes up most of the space in my car. - Strengths:

Huge basket, big wheels, sturdy frame, stylish

Bought this travel system for my second child and really wished id had it for my first! Basket is one of the biggest plus points to this pram, huge and really useful but I found it slightly difficult to access with the carrycot attachment on as it's quite low. The carrycot itself, however, is spacious, soft and my LG has always been really settled in it. The car seat looks lovely and is a great fit for my LG, she is now really settled in it, however, when she was newborn it never looked like she was comfy, this didn't last very long though luckily. I use the pram quite a lot on uneven ground and have found it very easy to push. I'm hopeful it will last until she no longer needs a pram, it certainly feels like it's built to last. The only downside I have found is that the handle when extended fully doesn't necessarily feel that sturdy.
All in all the best pram I've had.

Very heavy. Short hood. Tough steering. Big fold.

Absolutely love this pram but only for a couple of reasons. Mainly, due to the size of the basket you can do as much shopping as you want and still not have to carry anything. And then the seat is really large so it would probably last until your child no longer needed a pushchair. My daughter is 23 months and has loads of room left in it. It's the first pram she has looked small in. Which I love because she looks like she has so much space to stretch out which is especially good when she goes to sleep.
All in all the pram is very easy to use, a simple lever to move the seat up and down, 2 clicks to fold it, a swing hinge bumper bar for easy access. However, the downsides are that the straps can be a bit fiddly, the handle adjustment feature can sometimes be a bit stiff and the steering can be taxing. I can just about push it with one hand but this takes a lot of effort. The hood could do with being bigger because it doesn't offer good sun protection and especially if the seat is fully laid back this becomes a problem and the sun gets in the child's eyes which warrants the need for a sunshade or parasol which can be easily added to the pram but are just something else to have to think about.
The carrycot of this pram is large which is good so babies have plenty of room. Also it is very padded and feels soft. And quite deep so lots of space to cover baby up with blankets if necessary.
Another problem is that the leather on the handle seems to wear away pretty easily.
Finally this pram looks stunning and as you can get everything matching it really is stylish. - Strengths:

My mum bought me this travel system when i was expecting my now 21 month old daughter and i have since had another girl who is 9 months old. Used for both of them and i do a lot of walking. Love the cup holder ans the ease of use. I have brought cheaper pushchairs and they just don't have that high quality feel that the silvercross does. Love that the car seat can be taken straight out the car and clicked onto the frame. Its sturdy and i now use a buggyboard on it and just feels so much nicer than my cheaper double pushchair. The three height handle bar is amazing when your on public transport or need to park it somewhere with not much space. - Strengths:

I purchased this pushchair and the purple colour pack for my 6 month old baby daughter. I was immediately impressed by the high quality of the pushchair, the big basket and the handlebar which is adjustable to a high setting - perfect when baby's dad is over 6ft tall! I use a seat liner, but with or without it my daughter looks very comfortable. The footrest provides great support for any size baby as it adjusts easily. The brake is easy to apply, however can be tricky to disengage until you get the hang of where the little button is that you need to push. I usually prefer three-wheeled pushchairs because they are easy to manoeuvre, however this one steers very well. There is sometimes the issue of the front wheels turning when trying to mount a kerb but this is not really a problem. One of the front wheels has started squeaking which is mildly irritating but I'm sure it is easily fixable. Silver Cross is a quality brand and I'm very impressed with this pushchair. - Strengths:

We have totally loved this pram at every stage of our child's development. From being very tiny, the car seat clipped in easily and the carry cot you could use as Moses basket. Lots of prams carry cots aren't suitable for sleeping overnight in but this one is so when we went away it was perfect. It's parent facing or world facing so you can switch it round depending on babies age and what stage they are at. You need a medium size boot to fit the pram on as it can be big but fit into my Honda jazz fine. It's got a good basket to fit shopping/changing bag/bits and bobs in which not all Prams have. Would highly recommend. - Strengths:

Brought the silver cross pioneer for my second baby as loved the idea of being able to change colour using colour packs. The pushchair pushes so smooth and the basket is big. Only downfall would be when the handle is adjusted to its full height it feels a bit flimsy but apart from that I love this pushchair. - Strengths:

I have had my pram for over 2 years now. Used with my daughter and now with my son. Still in perfect condition after this long. Very easy to fold down and up. Not too heavy or bulky so can lift easily in and out of the car boot. Like the large easily accessible basket on it compared to other prams. Lovely to push and looks stylish too. - Strengths:

We love our silver cross! It's stylish, easy to fold down quickly and change from car seat to pushchair. The only problem we found is when you have the wheels taken off from lock position they constantly get stuck on curbs, uneven road surfaces and potholes! So we have had a few crashes making us down to a full stop as we don't like the un-manoeuvrability when you lock the wheels to a fixed position. Otherwise a great pushchair which will last us years! - Strengths:

I’ve had my Silver Cross Pioneer for 10 months now and although I have 3 prams it’s my main one. I went for reputation as I found Prams a mindfield when looking for one. It’s reasonably priced when on offer but in my opinion you can find much better for less. There’s no denying that it’s a sturdy pram and the storage underneath is probably the best I’ve seen - you can fit so much stuff in it however if you have he bassinet on you will struggle to put things underneath. It’s also easy to fold with a simple click and push down system and again easy to put up as you just lift the clip and pull up.
It does have a few cons in my opinion. Firstly, the size of it when folded is definitely a negative. I have an Astra and it takes up the entirety of my boot compared to some of the other prams I have. Secondly the bassinet seems a good size but my son outgrew it within a couple of months and was too young for the bucket seat so I ended up buying a second hand pram to use for this period. Thirdly, considering Mothercare very much sold it to me as the ‘off road’ pram in the Silver Cross collection I have had many times cursing it when pushing it along uneven ground. This is a major thing for me as we spend a lot of time outdoors.
Overall it’s a solid pram which is what you’d expect from Silver across but I do believe you can by other prams for less with similar features. - Strengths:

We love our pioneer! Our baby boy was always so comfy and warm in the carry cot and he is so comfy and happy in the seat unit. The adapters allow for the SC Simplicity Car Seat to be used on the chassis too which is great for convenience if you just need to pop out! Mothercare usually do deals on full packages! - Strengths:

- Strengths:
Easy to manoeuvre, large basket, easy to fold down for both storage and to put in the car.
- Weaknesses:

Overall this is a very good pram. It is easy to push and turn, and the features of clipping seat units, carry cot and car seat makes it very easy to set up. The fabric and zips are strong so even with using this pram on a daily basis, it still looks brand new. The seat bar is also handy to carry the carrycot and seat unit, and the magnets in the apron give it a clean and easy to use finish when in use. The hood is of good quality, folds down to different heights so you are able to protect your little one from the sun. The seat unit is easy to fold up and down and has a lying adjustment as does the bottom part which can act as a foot rest. The handle is easily adjustable and can be changed when the pram is in motion to give you a more comfortable experience when pushing. The only negative is that it can be hard to push up kirbs and for the first six months of little one being in a carry cot, it’s difficult to fit things in the shopping basket. The pram is very easy to fold down, and the carry cot fits nicely inside the frame when storing it. Wheels and cup holder are also sturdy. - Strengths:

I bought this travel system for my daughter. I absolutely fell in love with it when i first saw it in the shop. Now i used it for a few months i can easily say its a good pram, its easy to stear and has an incredible big shopping basket. Its very pretty had lots of compliments on it. The only thing i would change in it is the changing bag. The way its attached to pram is not very comfortable and takes time to put on and then off. Overall great pram! - Strengths:

So I went for the special edition fill travel system in expedition colour pack. The system is great in so many ways, I bought the car seat adapters as I had the maxi Cosi car seat and these are all easy to use and fit together.
My biggest issue is going up dropped curbs or over minor bumps at an angle when the front wheels just can’t cope and start to bend. - Strengths:

As a mum of 3 (soon to be four) after 12 years i found myself expecting again, now i was out of touch with the products on the market when my boys was little, the travel systems was all the rage. Id experienced some pretty shocking customer service from a major retailer on a previous purchase so i had a look into what others was using and companies silvercross kept coming up so we went to view .(im lucky enough to own the special edition henleys pioneer). Its beautiful and easy to push it came with everything we needed and has been my best purchase. I did have an issue with stitching on hood coming undone slightly, one email to silvercross and they sent me a new one straight away. I always get comments on my pram. I love it that much i am expecting again and using it for the new baby when they arrive. The overall quality of the pram is outstanding it is so smooth to push and it was so easy to transition to the baby seat , the overall winner for me was the roomy shopping basket we walk to town a lot and whilst looking at other prams on the market we noticed that a lot of them offer very little basket space. My daughter loves the pram and has plenty of room, and so easy to transition to lie back when she wants a sleep. The hood is great for sunny days and has an extension in the hood when extra protection for the summer sun is needed, i would recommend this pram to anyone expecting - Strengths:

Took me a while to find the right pram. Kept coming back to the silvercross, great quality pram, easy to push and very reliable and nicely folds flat. Only thing I don't like is the front wheels seem like they are going to break everytime I go up a kurb but apart from that I love it. - Strengths:
