Stylish, not too bulky, fairly good back wheels for offroading, huge basket!!
- Weaknesses:
Not the easiest to lift up onto pavement, have to use foot to push under basket to lift from wheels.

I love the look of silver cross pushchairs and I genuinely think they are built to last. When in pram mode the bassinet is very cosy and soft inside which I love. It's a good size bassinet not as skinny as some. The basket is a bit more difficult to get to when in pram mode. I struggled to get my big bag in the basket to always hung it from the handle. No we are in pushchair mode it's very easy to access. The seat is a good size and the straps are very strong and nicely padded. The handle is easy to extend and the frame goes down easily when you know how. I have a Corsa and can fit it in the boot. The brake is flip flop friendly. FYI the hood and apron from the bassinet are the same for the chair. - Strengths:

I brought this pram as a travel system from silver cross and I loved it when I got it it looked amazing I brought the special edition and it looked so classy however by the continuing to use it becomes so bulky to keep folding up and down in and out of the car and after only a few uses the plastic becomes very weak and you clip to hold it folded down is very weak often doesn’t hold it together. Another problem I have found is the breaks to be terrible you put it on the break fine but letting it off is a struggle you have to give it a very good push before it actually patches off. As I say very nice to look at but for the money you pay for this as a luxury very famous brand I really wouldn’t bother it won’t last that long. - Strengths:

I have really enjoyed having a silver cross pioneer for my first pram for my first child, but for my second child I will be looking at getting something different. The silver cross is beautiful to look at, it seems to be cosy for my daughter and it steers lovely. However I was sold to the pioneer as it was described as having ‘multi terrain wheels’ - this is not the case! You need to pull it backwards to even go across gravel! It definitely does not like bumpy ground and the carrycot seemed to shake an awful lot when on bumpier footpaths etc. On many occasions now, I have gone to push the pram up a very small curb and have not been able to get the wheels over, nearly resulting in the whole pram tipping forward! You have to pull the pram up to get up any sort of curb! And it’s not exactly a light pram either. Additionally, you will need a large boot for this pram. I drive an SRV and my boot is only just big enough for this to fit in. I certainly cannot get anything else in the back, like shopping bags etc! The wheels do come off really easily if you need to make the wheel chassis smaller, but realiscally when we do have time for that? - Strengths:

After hunting high and lo for the perfect pushchair whilst pregnant with my first baby, I think I tried out every possible brand and silver cross was by far the best for it's sturdyness, elegance and ease of use. We chose the Pioneer for the extra size, the large basket underneath is a life saver when out shopping on foot, the height adjustable handle makes it easy and comfortable for anyone to push. Second to how sturdy and safe it feels to use , I love how fantastic it looks and feel proud to be pushing it! - Strengths:

I love my Silvercross pram! Only downfall is that it doesn’t fold down very small for fitting in the car, you need a decent sized boot to fit the wheels. - Strengths:

I love my pram and will be sad to see it go when I swap for a double.
It’s so hard wearing. Would recommend getting the limited edition version as it has the upgraded wheels which are so much better.
My only negative is that the footmuff doesn’t fit when they are 1. It could do with being a bit bigger. - Strengths:

I’m currently using this pushchair for my first child. I love the ease and practicality of the pushchair. It’s easy to change attachments onto the pushchair, also moving materials eg foot muff really simple to do. Only minor problem, when using the carry cot attachment there’s not a lot of room to use the under basket part of the pushchair. Raincover is also really easy to fit and remove. - Strengths:

I am not the only one to find these pushchair are difficult to push up curbs. Heavy and bulky
- Easy to steer

For the cost , you'd have thought the Silvercross Pioneer pushchair would be easier to push up curbs when out and about but the pushchair is heavy, bulky , need a lot of energy and force- Make sure baby is strapped in securely!
I do like the stylishness and the ease of the car seat clips . Although should not leave a baby in a car seat for long periods of time so maybe that needs looking into too. - Strengths:

I've been using the Silver Cross Pioneer Brompton pram for the past three months and absolutely love it!
My son is there months old and still in the bassinet which is spacious and comfortable. The bamboo fabric inside is soft and he seems to love it. The travel system means I can easily attach the car seat if I'm quickly popping in somewhere rather than putting up the full pram.
It's easy to steer and feels like it's gliding across the pavement although sometimes snagging when going up a level i.e. up a curb.
The basket is large but the gap to put things in isn't huge, so to put in something the size of a shoebox for example requires you to loft off the bassinet.
The pram folds down easily to a compact size but I find it tricky to put back up as I have to use my foot or knee as well as pulling the level on each side.
Despite these couple of little niggles I absolutely love my Pioneer Pram! - Strengths:

I love this pram. Overall it is strong and sturdy yet easy to manoeuvre. I would definitely purchase it again if I had to. The carrycot could be bigger but that's probably because my baby is quite long. The only thing is the insert for this pram has to be purchased as an extra. - Strengths:

We have the full travel system and think overall this is a grea roushcair. The pushchair is easy to put up and down and transports well. The large basket is an added bonus when our shopping.
The seat can be forward and rear facing, and you can also use adapater to use the silver cross car seat on the pushchair which is very handy in the early days. Overall we are impressed with this travel System. - Strengths:

Sturdy, amazing aftercare, Long warranty
- Weaknesses:
Price, raincover too snug
- Easy to steer
- Value for money
- Easy to fold

Advisable to have someone help you get it out of the box, it's heavy but so worth it.
Very easy to attach the wheels they click in place with one touch.
Carry cot is flat packed as such and does take a bit of force to make it rigid. Liner for this is a bit fiddly to zip on the frame but once one stays in place.
Found the raincover to be very snug but if you put on the fabric piece 1st then it's not too bad and added bonus it fits the Carry cot and seat unit.
Quick and easy to change between carrycot and seat unit on the frame although a two- hands process.
So smooth and easy to push and high adjustable handle bar is lovely but can feel a bit rickety when fully extended.
Silver Cross aftercare is amazing they have a very speedy 2-3 day service option where any issues are fixed quickly ie new wheels chassis greased and tightened where necessary.
Please do check that when folded it will fit in boot of your car as even when folded it's still large and takes up alot of room. - Strengths:

Used this pram with my daughter I found it comfortable for her and easy to put down and up again and attach seat unit or carrycot ect. I like selection of colour packs you can get I personally had pink colour pack. Basket is spacious. I would of liked this pram again for my current pregnancy but I found out its twins so not possible. I also used silver cross for my son but not this particular model as was 7 years ago so this wasn't available back then. Love silver cross - Strengths:
