This is the best pram I’ve brought. I love the larger wheels at the back as someone who regularly goes on woodland walks etc they make the pram steadier on the tougher terrain. The larger basket is perfect as I also have a toddler who uses it as buggy board and can actually fit in it to sit when she gets tired. The over all look of the pram is just beautiful. It’s so easy to fold if it’s world facing you can fold it altogether as well. Overall an amazing pram.

This is a stylish beautiful pram. It has adjustments for baby's and also for a toddler. From lie down carry cot to sat up.
It can face front ways and back ways.
The only down fall is that it is quite bulky and can be a task getting it in and out of the car if you don't have a big enough boot it will not fit.
All the attachments you can buy for this pram makes it so worth while.

I knew I wanted something that would last, and the Pioneer is exactly that. Strong and sturdy. I have had so many compliments on the appearance of this pram.

I bought this pram for my first son when he was born and it was brilliant. The easy steering system as well as robust wheels meant that I could use on most terrains including walking in the forest.
It was so easy to collapse too which made going to the shops alone much easier and less stressful which for a new Mam is paramount. I was also able to attach my car seat to the chassis (which was not silver cross) using simple adapters. This was a godsend.

This time around I am going to use the pram for my newborn while attaching a buggy board to the rear of the chassis for my toddler. The size and manoeuvrability of this pram allows me to do this with ease and knowing my baby and toddler as both safe is exactly what I need
    I would 100% recommend

I absolutely love this pram, it was easy to assemble, we are currently still using the carrycot part, it keeps baby nice and warm inside and has plenty of space for when he grows meaning we will get plenty of use out of it. The pram is easy to push, very lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, the large wheels means it can go over most terrains, we've been over very bumpy fields with no problems. Also the basket underneath is quite large and can fit quite a lot in it. The only downfall for me is that it is slightly stiff to fold down but this could be because mine has only been used for 3 weeks at the moment so could get better over time. Would highly recommend this pram

Loved the pram. Colour was gender neutral. Easy to manoeuvre and felt safe. Confident in the locking system as it appeared to need rolled back before rolling forward which is a good safety mechanism. Highly recommended

We bought the pioneer Brompton from mothercare. It’s a beautiful pushchair. And the steering a great. Wheels don’t squeak like some other brands do. Nice and quiet plus the suspension is great. We have taken it on a few dog walks with it and it is robust on most terrains.
When the carrycot it attaches it is pretty difficult to put something big in the tray below. Also when folded it doesn’t leave much room in the car boot.
You use the same hood and apron for the carrycot and pushchair. Very good quality. Highly recommended.

Perfect travel system for our first and we have kept it for our second one which is due in May. We couldn’t fault this travel system one but. Was light weight for us to take to the top floor of our flat, loved the bright colour blue. Big wheels as we walk a lot and a big basket

over the first three months of having my daughter I went through three prams before ending on this pram that I still have now a year on. I wouldn’t be anywhere without it. It is easy for me to get in and out of the car. It is easy to put up and down and it is study enough to go on rough terrain. My daughter has loved this pram too and gets excited when she knows she is going in it. Overall I would highly reccomend to any new parent! There may be cheaper prams out there but honestly this is probably one of the best and definitely worth the extra money!

Great pushchair to get for a child newborn - 2 years. I love going for days out with my little one to know he will be comfortable, cosy and safe. He's never really liked lying down in the pushchair from a young age and the seat gave me the flexibility to change it from the carry cot so that he isnt lying down unable to see surroundings but isn't too up right for a young baby. Overall the easy steering, padded seat lining, cosy and comfortable pushchair is an absolute dream!!

This pram is built to last and comes in a variety of colours. The only problem we found was our baby outgrew the basket by about four months but felt she was still a little small for the next part of the pram for a month or so. Now she fits perfect and loves it. We had a problem with the zip on the apron and contacted silver cross and they had a new one with us very quickly with no hassle.

    • Strengths:

Beautiful soft and comfy carrycot for little ones to rest in. Lovely, sheltered and warm for winter.

    • Weaknesses:

Basket hard to access with carrycot as not enough space to get items in and out.

This pram is beautiful to look at and push. The carrycot is so comfy for my little girl so sleep in on long walks. The basket underneath is very spacious but the space to get items in and out isn’t enough and means you can’t really put anything in it unless it’s roughly letterbox sized. The front wheels buckle at times when going up kerbs or over bumps which is quite a pain.
I love this pram for how comfy it is but for how much it cost I would maybe have picked something else had I been able to try before buying.

I absolutely love this silvercross pram! It’s sleek, stylish and easy to use! What else could you ask for?!
The pram has different positions so can be used from new born upwards and can be positioned forward or rear facing!
Has clips for the bag which is really good so the bag fits on safely and securely. Very easy to menovour too !

I managed to get a good bundle deal when purchasing this pram. I got the chassis, carry cot, seat unit, apron and hood set, car seat, adaptors, changing bag, parasol, and cup holder.
The carry cot seemed comfy although it is small, my little one out grew it way before meeting the weight and age limitation on the seat unit. I had to buy an inset to give her additional support.
The pram is nice and compact so is ideal in the aisles in shops, if I had purchased one of the other peaks I looked at I wouldn’t be able to use it in my local shop.
If you have a small car then when folded it will take up a lot of boot space. Especially as it all has to come apart.
The basket is a good size but not easily accessible when using the carrycot.
It is easy to steer although I find that sometimes the wheels stick after releasing the brake and the front wheels don’t like uneven surfaces.
It is wood quality and well made besides these small niggles.

I absolutely love this pram! The 369 feature on the front wheels is excellent and makes this pram so easy and a pleasure to manoeuvre. The car seat adapters are useful if you are going a short trip and don’t want to take the full carry cot which can take up quite a bit of room depending on your car size (I have a tiny car). The only thing I find a bit annoying is that you cannot easily pull the carry cot cover back to get baby inside, so almost need to slip them inside, which is fine when they are awake but a bit more difficult when they are asleep and you don’t want to wake them!
Overall I love this pram and look forward to going out walking with it everyday.

Right from the first time I looked at prams there was no other option but Silver Cross, and I was not disappointed In my selection. The chassis and build is sturdy, and steering is effortless. Comes with a cup holder which fits into the frame, which you can then clip into place to use, or unclick and swivel underneath when not in use (also handy for getting through narrow spaces).
Easy carseat to operate, easier still with the isofix base ! If I were to fault the car seat it would be that the hood does not come down very far to protect baby from sun/rain compared to other seat hoods I have seen. However the hood attachment for the pram is wonderful with an extra extendable piece tucked inside.
Cot/Flat bed is sturdy with a comfy feeling mattress and padded sides, all of which is easily removable for cleaning. It’s also safe to sleep in so it’ll save you having to buy a Moses basket as this can double as a bed for the first few months.
Seat attachment reclines and leg position can be adjusted.
Bigger sized basket to the Wave, much better for storing things !

This pram has been perfect for myself & my little boy. It looks great, the big basket is perfect for getting stuff from the shops & it’s easy to put up & fold down. We have been on a holiday which we could use the carrycot as his bed, along with the great ventilation in the hood it was perfect for a warmer country.

Brilliant pushchair very sturdy and base is brilliant. My baby loves the carry cot section so he can sleep. The only downside to this is that I have a Nissan Juke and in order to get the pram in I need to put the carry cot on the floor, fold up the pushchair, squeeze it in the boot then put the carry cot on top.
  • 4.38/5

The frame is very well built its very sturdy and it has a big basket underneath. The wheels also make it easy to go over grass etc as there is a lock on the front wheels to stop them turning. The cover is very thick and can get in a number of lovely cuddles which means I can reuse if I have another baby! The only problem I have is getting out the door as sometimes you cannot move the front wheel as it folds inwards. Other than that the best pushchair in the shop in my opinion!
