    • Strengths:

The larger wheels make it very easy to steer and it pushes well on grass/ mud so good for days out

    • Weaknesses:

I’m not keen on the harness in the pram part as it’s a little fiddly

The carry cot is one of the bigger ones on the market which is good because it allows for more room for baby as they grow. It’s also sleep approved so great for using as somewhere for baby to sleep in early days especially when at other people’s houses visiting etc. The big wheels are fab and make getting about on any terrain easy (I’m yet to try sand). Easy to put together and is a very sturdy product.

My main focus of buying a buggy was that it would need to be big enough but small enough for me to dismantle myself and fit into my car boot. This buggy was perfect as it does everything you require. Comes with a really good size carry cot and seat that can be used for at least up to 5 years.

    • Strengths:

The main strength I think is the ease of the pram you really get everything all in one.

    • Weaknesses:

The basket is almost unusable when you have the Carrycot base attached.

All in all I LOVE this pram, I used it with my first baby and it was a dream, I could easily and very quickly set the pram up which is a must for any parent (especially a new first time mum.) It looks amazing, let's face it silver cross have design and style sorted. They stand out from the crowd and don't seem to ever look dated. When finding out I was pregnant again I was reluctant to let my pram go but I went shopping none the less, after looking at what felt like ever pram ever produced I kept returning to the silver cross, so I bought a new colour pack and as the pram itself is built from quality materials it looked brand new. Silver cross keep bringing our new colour packs which I think is amazing, you can alter the prams appearance without having to pay out for an entire new pushchair.
The wheels on the pram have been great, I've had no issues getting up and down curbside when on paths for quick walks to the shop or when we visit the Forrest's it really has great suspension on uneven ground.
The basket space is great, so much room so I don't need to always bring the car when I need to go pick bits up from the local shop. However that can only be said when either using the carseat mode or the older child seat unit. When in carrycot mode it's almost impossible to get anything under the pram which isn't always handy especially when you have an older childs hand to hold. This problem however can be easily solved by buying a bag holder (sold separately)

This pushchair is so lovely to push, it just glides. The sun visor attached beneath the hood is excellent for extra protection for your baby. Basket underneath is very big. I love how you can use the hood, apron and bumper bar from the carrycot and use with the seat unit too.

Absolutely lovely pram. So nice to push and steer but a little on the heavier side.
Lovely colour packs available for this pram and can be changed. Only problem I have had is sometimes wheels buckle with bumps, kerbs etc but no big deal. Pram is very sturdy and comfortable for child. My little boy has used ours since birth.

I have the special edition pram set, it’s easy to put baby in and out of both parts. The basket is larger than the wayfarer which I liked as I can put a lot of shopping underneath. This pram should last a while. Easy to fold up and down and has different settings to put the push chair part either straight up slight incline and fully back to a lying position so baby can sleep. I’ve had a lot of people comment on how nice this pram is.

I love this pushchair. So easy to fold away. The basket is really big compared to other pushchairs. So easy to steer. The only thing I would say if the wheels on a curb they bend slightly so I have to be careful.

Completely in love with my Silver Cross Pioneer Travel System! It is very stylish, easy to steer and has a great size basket. It's a real head turner and the carrycot, seat and car seat are clearly of a very high quality! I find the frame quite easy to fold down and up too. The chassis is a little bulky and takes up a lot of room in my small car boot but I can live with that given how lovely the pram looks. Yes a bit on the pricey side, but you definitely get what you pay for with this travel system.

This pushchair is great and easy to use it's pretty basic and my baby seems very comfortable in it. But the carry cot barely lasted for her as it became too small quite quickly. I find it quite heavy in weight also compare to others however you do get used to it.

Purchased the silver cross pioneer in vintage pink as it matched the dolls pram I bought my daughter off play like mummy. I have had so many compliments when I'm out and about. Pram is large but surprisingly light so ideal for larger babies, and will last as baby grows. carry cot is well insulated and looks comfy.
My baby falls asleep shortly after being placed in it every time. protects baby very well from the elements. Raincover looks good on the pram, zip opening makes it easier to get to baby without the need to take it off getting baby and pram wet. I love my pram and its first one I've had that I feel proud to be walking around with. Official Matching bag and the other little pram accessories finish pram off so nicely. Will be heartbroken when baby outgrows it

I managed to get a good bundle deal when purchasing this pram. I got the chassis, carry cot, seat unit, apron and hood set, car seat, adaptors, changing bag, parasol, and cup holder.
The carry cot seemed comfy although it is small, my little one out grew it way before meeting the weight and age limitation on the seat unit. I had to buy an inset to give her additional support.
The pram is nice and compact so is ideal in the aisles in shops, if I had purchased one of the other peaks I looked at I wouldn’t be able to use it in my local shop.
If you have a small car then when folded it will take up a lot of boot space. Especially as it all has to come apart.
The basket is a good size but not easily accessible when using the carrycot.
It is easy to steer although I find that sometimes the wheels stick after releasing the brake and the front wheels don’t like uneven surfaces.
It is wood quality and well made besides these small niggles.

over the first three months of having my daughter I went through three prams before ending on this pram that I still have now a year on. I wouldn’t be anywhere without it. It is easy for me to get in and out of the car. It is easy to put up and down and it is study enough to go on rough terrain. My daughter has loved this pram too and gets excited when she knows she is going in it. Overall I would highly reccomend to any new parent! There may be cheaper prams out there but honestly this is probably one of the best and definitely worth the extra money!

I absolutely love this pram, it was easy to assemble, we are currently still using the carrycot part, it keeps baby nice and warm inside and has plenty of space for when he grows meaning we will get plenty of use out of it. The pram is easy to push, very lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, the large wheels means it can go over most terrains, we've been over very bumpy fields with no problems. Also the basket underneath is quite large and can fit quite a lot in it. The only downfall for me is that it is slightly stiff to fold down but this could be because mine has only been used for 3 weeks at the moment so could get better over time. Would highly recommend this pram

On the whole I would 100% recommend the pioneer to all my friends and family. It feels so smooth to push, the handle height adjusts for even the tallest of users, and the basket is huge!
My daughter doesn’t seem to mind at all no matter how rickety the pavement is, as the suspension feels quite solid. I’ve never used the wheels in straight mode, but the steering is so easy. The only con I have on the use of the pushchair is that sometimes the wheels get a little caught going up kerbs. It’s nothing major, it’s just if you hit it at a wrong angle. Folding the pushchair is really easy, just a case of pulling up levers and pushing down. The only issue is the size of the base unit, you do need a good sized boot to fit it into your car.

I really do rate the pioneer. So much so that I’ve kept it for our newest addition. Both girls have settled straight away as soon as they’ve been put in the carrycot (and my first had reflux!), and I honestly just love this pushchair.

I bought this after seeing it at the baby shop and comparing it to other brands and models. To me, it feels lovely to push and feels very sturdy which is what you need in a pram. It comes in a variety of colours however I chose a classic black. The shopping basket underneath is a great size and I can manage to fit plenty of the food shop there so I don't have to struggle with the bags and the pushchair at the same time.
My only advice if you are considering this pram, is to check that it will fit in your boot. It is quite large and if you need to fit other stuff in there too then you might struggle.
