Easy to use, suitable from birth. Has a huge basket under, easy to change elements, fits in the car, but could be a little bit lighter. Otherwise I didnt minde to choose this brand. Very food adjustable handler, big wheels and easy to keep clean

Best buggy I've had by far. Wears well. Good value for money. Decent size so it lasts until they're walking. Strong and durable. 5*

I've used this from newborn for over 19 months. It's a great pushchair, smooth & has a large shopping basket. It's quite large even when folded down and might not fit in smaller cards. The base with the carrycot is too large to fit in most car boots.

I bought this pram for my daughter before she was born so I used the frame with the car seat and the carry cot from birth and I can honestly say it is an amazing pram. I absolutely love it! The car seat is light so clipping it onto the frame is so easy and releasing it is just two buttons. The frame is very sturdy and the carry cot is so comfy for my little one, as soon as she laid in it she would fall asleep. It is easy to remove the hood from the carry cot and put it onto the seat. The pram is easy to clean and so is the base. The wheels can either be locked straight or can swivel. It’s not the smallest when folded and needs to be taken apart to be folded but it’s easy enough to take the carry cot or seat off. The basket at the bottom is big which is very handy and the pram can hold a great deal of weight as we walk to do the shopping and put it onto the pram on the way home. I can honestly say this is the best pram we have ever used and would highly recommend this to anybody looking for a light, easy to push pram which can also have the car seat clipped onto the base. It really is the perfect pram!

I bought this Pram before the birth of my first child. I thought it looked nice, folded well and was small enough for my car. The carry cot part of the pram is very good; large, comfortable and robust. I love the size of the basket underneath! When I started to go out on walks to the park and shops I found it was white heavy to push and steering was difficult. When you go up and down curbs it’s a bit of a struggle, the wheels seem to get stuck. I have kept the pram and I am expecting my second child in the next 2 months. If I were to buy a new pram I wouldn’t go for this again but due to the expense I will be using it for my second child.

Love my pram. It’s super stylish and the materials used feel great quality. The basket is huge which is great but can be difficult to access when using the carrycot.
The only real thing I struggle with is trying to lift the front wheels to mount a kerb. There isn’t a bar to put your foot on or anything so you really have to push down on the handle it can be quite difficult. Having said that, overall I love my pram and am so happy I got this one.

Comfy for baby, feels sturdy however struggles on kerbs and cobbles and difficult to lift in and out of car. Found the pram easy to clean though and plenty of room if baby was bigger. Worth getting a liner for pushchair to help comfort as the seat doesn’t feel cushioned for a 6 month old. Instructions for the foot muff attachment were a bit confusing but on the whole a good pram. Not sure I will use when little one is heavier though due to weight.

Brought this for my second born as I was only really familiar with fond memories of my first silvercross I had for my firstborn. This was meant to be designed for the countryside. It's very easy to maneuver even one handed. The extras are good minus the umbrella I found it to be quite flimsy. The chassis its self is very hardwearing. The cot unit is very spacious so plenty of room for growth. The seat unit is faultless, the colour packs are very easy to change. The whole seat unit is just a little flick up for it to Recline easy. All in all this is a very good pushchair/pram. Worth the money it has lasted through 2 children in this household and still going strong.

I love my sand colour pioneer as it’s not a common colour to be seen, I have always had compliments on how beautiful it is. It’s lovely to push (my partner even likes to push it?) I find it’s so easy to take the pram/seat off the base and isn’t fiddly at all. Good size storage basket underneath and folds down quite well and is compact. Overall I’m so glad I went for this pram!

So I’ve been using the Silver Cross Pioneer for almost 6 months and was keen for this to be my pram of choice. Now I’ve used it for this long would I be ask keen to recommend it...? Probably not. Don’t get me wrong it has some great plus points but equally it has some very poor ones.
I’ll take you through what I found to be great with this pram.
    1. The colour packs can be changed, you bought it in blue for your baby? Hey presto it can be changed to red/purple/yellow/grey etc and it’s like a new system all over again!
    2. The shopping basket is huge! You can fit a whole car boot under there (well you can’t by you catch my drift, massive!)!
    3. The carrycot is a good size, most prams I viewed the carrycots were tiny and having a winter baby I didn’t want her to outgrow it too early so she could stay snuggled!
    4. It’s smooth to steer on flat terrain, it fairs well on grass and gravel too.
    5. Easy to open chassis and fold back down.
    6. Most car seats can be used with this with adapters.
    7. Adjustable handle height. I’m 5ft 9, my husband 6ft 2 and my Nan who uses it is a teeny 4ft 11 and all of us are able to use it no problems!

As you can see there are some great advantages to this pram. Now for what I thought wasn’t so good.
    1. So the flip side of the good sized carrycot is the fact that it’s so good it basically shuts off the whole shopping basket and unless you’re willing to buy slimline items or take the whole carrycot off every time you shop (baby and all), you’re not getting any shopping in there until you change to the seat.
    2. The wheels we great on most surfaces, however, even the smallest of kerbs were an issue for the wheels of the pioneer. Going down, no issue at all, worked as it should. Going up? No way! I’ve given myself whiplash a few times because I think it’s going to make it up 3/4 of an inch of kerb or even less but it just can’t do it!
    3. Once baby is into the seat part of the pram the straps become an issue, my baby isn’t the largest but she’s by no means tiny and the straps are just too long! They cannot be tightened at the back of the seat to keep her in place and they just hang there like two limp laces. I’ve had to get padding for her straps just so I can use it. Not good at all and definitely not safe.
    4. Size. It’s not compact at all and if you’re using the carrycot it’s cumbersome. My car isn’t small but it takes up my whole boot, even with the wheels taken off it makes zero difference. When the seat was attached I thought it would be better, nope, still huge and still taking up my boot.

So as you can see, the good points are more plentiful than the bad but the bad points are game changers for most people buying a pram.
Overall if I were to buy another pram, would I choose a Silver Cross Pioneer? From a money saving point of view, yes because I can change the colour pack and save a fortune. If I was a first time mum? No! Don’t do it, there are lots of prams at a fraction of the price that would do better.

Loved this pram, it worked really well from newborn all the way up to 2+. The carrycot is large and very comfy. It’s attractive to look at, the storage basket is large and easily accessible. Only problem we found was that the wheels were unsuitable for any sort of bumpy surface This includes the canal path which is flat but has some small stones. The pram wheels would get jammed and it was very bumpy for Little ones. I would recommend this pram to anyone!

We got our Brompton pioneer as part of a bundle from mothercare and we love it.
It’s so easy to go from carrycot, to pushchair and car seat.
If our baby is asleep in the car it’s so handy to just click the car seat on to the chassis and not disturb him.
It does take up quite a lot of room in the boot of the car so make sure you have plenty of space.

I bought this pram as part of a travel system set with the car seat, pram and carrycot when my daughter was born. The carrycot has a large hood and comfy mattress and my daughter slept well in it during walks when newborn. She has now moved on to the seat unit and finds it very comfy and is happy to go in it. The chassis has a large basket which is useful when going shopping or out for the day. We had the adaptors so also sometimes attach the car seat when going into a shop quickly which is very handy.
The only negative is that the pram is very heavy and when folded the chassis and seat unit take the whole boot so it is not ideal for smaller boots.

I love using this pram, it’s bright and colourful, easy to steer and you can change the wheels so they eaither swivel or are locked straight. There is also 3 levels the handle bar can go up to which makes it great for all heights. Lots of space for shopping too. Only downside to it is that it’s hard to fold down as you have to take the seat off to fold it down so it takes up a lot of space.

I love Silvercross prams, I’ve had a silvercross surf and the Pioneer now and they are my favourite brand. I have got a mothercare genie double for my sons while they’re small but will be going back to my Pioneer once the eldest can use a buggyboard.

Being quite the grey fan, and wanting a pram that would last us if we went on to have a second little one, the Silver Cross Pioneer seemed the perfect pram for us. We opted for the special edition from John Lewis, which was a grey colour with a black chassis. Perfect for if we went on to have a boy. (We have a little girl now)
This pram was easy to assemble, from the outset, the hood was the bit we struggled with the most. The carrycot is lovely and roomy for a newborn, but my little girl did grow out of it fairly quickly. She is quite tall though, so she was in the seat unit by the time she was just over three months. The apron really sets off the carry cot and makes it look a classy product. Plenty of room to tuck in those blankets aswell. My little girl loves the seat unit and the fur liner looks amazing. However, the straps do not seem to reflect the price of the pram. The strap pads slip off so often because the strap that goes ovet the shoulder detaches from the waist strap meaning every time we put her in it it's quite the kerfuffle. They are quite hard to get into the buckle aswell. In regards to pushing, I couldn't fault it. We live on a new build estate where the paths have not yet been completed but I have no worries with my pram. I love that the back wheels are larger and compared to the wayfarer it is a breeze to push. Another little thing is that you can not collapse the chassis if the carry cot or seat unit is on, but they are so easy to attach that it is not really a problem. Overall, I am happy with this product and hope it continues to serve us well in the future.

If I had to pick again I would pick this buggy. I have friends who have recently transferred their little ones into a more lightweight buggy for ease.. but not me, I will be keeping my little one in here for as long as possible. I love how easy it is to use, the giant basket for shopping, the comfortability for my little one, with a great range of accessories.. what more could I want!!

I brought this pram for my 5th baby. (So have had many prams over the years) I loved the fact it came as a bundle with everything I needed. Carry cot is spacious and has plenty of room in it. Seat unit is nice and roomy. Car seat is ok, but hood could do with being a bit bigger. Pushes a dream, even with a child either side pulling it back. Baby always seems happy and comfortable in pram, footmuff spacious and very warm.

I love this pram it’s stylish, good quality, and super comfy for baby! It’s amazingly easy to take down and put up, a smooth ride for baby whilst in the pram, easy to swap between carry cot and seat. The seat is also good for small babies that like to look around as it’s three positions mean baby can be laying down without being completely flat. Both the carrycot and seat have super soft comfy padding that you would be happy to lay on yourself something you want to see knowing your baby will be comfortable while in it. Overall I would recommend this product good value worth the money, built to last and baby loves it
