I honestly cant fault this product it is an absolute game changer which allows you to make fresh sterile bottles without the pain of having to wait for the bottle to cool down or warm up, and when your little one is hungry this is just a breeze to use. I love that it works for more than Tommee Tippee bottles, and the fact that the water is filtered before use you know exactly that the water your baby is drinking is fresh and clean. I really struggled before I had this product, for someone who only brestfed, when I had to change my son over I was so confused as to the the ratio between hot and cold water but this does everything for you, 10/10. - Strengths:

Preparing bottles, boiling the kettle, waiting for the milk to cool down in a jug, all while trying to calm down a very hungry screaming baby is a very stressful situation! That was until I purchased one of these, it makes a bottle to the right temperature in less that 2 minutes, it is an absolute must have baby product, I have the first edition in black, it looks smart alongside our other black appliances, you can only use it from when baby is on 4oz + but this happens fairly quickly anyway.
I love love love this product, I wish it was available 7 years ago when I had my first child!
It is so easy to use, press a button, add formula scoops, shake, press button again, shake, READY! The filter needs changing roughly every 3 months, and the descaling process is very simple to do.

When setting up the machine to use my instructions booklet was all back to front and didn't make sense. I had page one in the middle of the booklet and page 2 at the front. Trying to set up I got confused and ended up putting the filter in and then boiling water which then made it unusable. I went out and started again but used a you tube manual instead. It has been a life saver for the night feeds as when baby is crying for his bottle it takes 2 minutes to make one so whilst one of us is making a bottle the other half is changing baby ready for his feed. When the bottle has finished filling up it is the perfect temperature for baby and you do not need to leave it to cool down. The machine is very loud when it beeps and you can not turn this down which can be annoying as during the night it wakes the whole household up. The machine is very easy to clean. I take this machine to peoples houses when we are going for a few hours as it is easier than making bottles up at the persons house with a kettle. - Strengths:

Absolute life saver! I had one of these with my first child and of course had to buy another one when I had my second! Saves so much time making bottles at the perfect temperature and so easy to use, just set the dial to how many ounces, add your formula powder to bottle and press the button! Bottle made in minutes! Everyone told us how much we needed one of these, and they were right! Definitely one of the best things we bought in the run up to my daughter being born! Takes a little while to get your head around at first but after that initial period it is literally a life saver! Takes 2 minutes to make a bottle and easy to use, even when you have a screaming baby in your arms. The design is slick and classic and it doesn’t take much space in your kitchen. The filters last an impressively long time. We were concerned at first as it took a good while before the light came on to replace the filter, but it does work. Changing the filter is a slightly time consuming process if you keep the water tank full, as I do. The only other weakness is the time it takes to cool down. Our machine overheated during the heatwave this summer (the water tank was over 25 degrees) and so the warning light came on and the machine would not work. This is great as a safety feature but not great when you need to make up a bottle for your baby in the middle of the night. It took about 12 hours for us to be able to use the machine again.

This initially was my go to baby purchase it made bottle feeding a breeze (despite the loud beep at night) however after only 3 months its developed a fault where it dispenses too much water which is very dangerous and can lead to over dilution of formula! Their customer service is shocking and as this was a gift and I don’t have a receipt they won’t accept liability - it’s a good job I realised or this could of made my baby very ill!!! - Strengths:

Was impressed to begin with but after a few weeks had a very windy grippy baby!

I absolutely love this! I was given a 2nd hand one from my friend but it has been amazing regardless! The filter lasted me 4 months from when my LO was born which was a bonus. I have it next to my bed to save me faffing about in the middle of the night and the pure easy of it is lovely. Done within 2 minutes!
The only downside to this machine is personally I think the water runs out really quickly, would like it to hold more water but that isn’t a major issue! Cleaning takes a longish time but simple enough to do when the baby is napping! - Strengths:

We bought a prep machine as we thought it would make life so much easier, and we was right. Our newborn was hungry quite often so having this machine made it a lot faster for us to make his bottles up. It is very simple and easy to use and makes feeding a much more enjoyable experience as it gives you more time with your baby. The only downside is that I worry about the water being filtered properly, however so far using it for four weeks we have had no problems and it has been amazing. - Strengths:

I love my prep machine with my first this wasn’t that popular and I done the old fashion kettle and cooled in down in a bowl of water. Oh I was missing out!! For my last two i have used a perfect prep (two sperete ones) and loved them! Also I bit mummy hack, the Wilkinson’s water filters fit and work in the machines which you get three for 7 pound, rather than one for 12 from Tommy tippy.
The only downside is when it over heats it does take s long time to cool down and work again - Strengths:

We had been making formula with the kettle for a while as our daughter was combination fed. She has recently just gone into formula fully! (Got my life back, no more expressing)!
When using the kettle you’re constantly making/ wasting milk anticipating their next feed! We finally went and bought the prep machine and it has been a life saver! Not only have we saved money in the long run as we’re not wasting half as much milk, it’s made quickly so the little one doesn’t make too much noise! Especially at 5am! The machines pretty quiet too.
It’s also made to body temperature so as soon as you’ve given the bottle a shake its ready to go!
Myself and my partner have already recommended to 2 new parents!
The replacement filters aren’t too bad, around £10 and only need replacing every 3months/150 litres which isn’t too bad :)

The Tommee Tippee Prep Machine is easily the BEST purchase I made when it came to having a baby. It's super quick and easy and relieves you of the stress of waiting for boiling water to cool whilst you have a hungry crying baby in your arms . The filter needs changing every 3 months, which I must say does come around very quickly, but that's a small price to pay. It even has lights which let you know if the waters too hot, if it needs cleaning, when there's no water left in the machine and when the filter needs changing. Absolutely love these machines!
When we had a newborn and were up a few times in the night feeding this really was great! You can have a bottle made in 2 minutes and the exact temperature ready to feed, it saves messing and a lot of crying.

The best way to make the bottles, baby doesn't have to wait as it does it to the right temperature by using a hot shot to kill bacteria in the formula and then cool to get it to the right temp. It does struggle sometimes in the heat where it gets too hot but simple fix is putting the water in the fridge and then adding to the prep machine or putting ice cubes in it. - Strengths:

When you start using this machine you will wonder why you waited so long. It prepares a bottle in a matter of minutes and is so easy to use. You get plenty of time between beeps to add your formula and it’s easy to change the dial as you need more water for bigger feeds.
The only downside we noticed was hat when it’s very hot the machine water gets too hot so the red light comes on and you can’t use it. We discovered if you put a few ice cubes in the water tank this solves the problem pretty quickly so you can still use the machine.
I’d also so watch out when refilling the machine I managed to poor water all over the place as the fill to line is lower at the front than the height of the machine so if your not paying attention you can easily put in too much and cause a flood! - Strengths:

I didn't mind paying this much for a baby item as it's got so much use. it's so much easier than waiting for the kettle to boil and then cool. Freds through the night was made easier with this machine because we didn't have to wait. I would definitely recommend this! - Strengths:

This is AMAZING! I know theres a lot of controversy around this product however I can not recommend it enough! The fact it takes 2 minutes rather than half an hour with a screaming baby is the best!
The only downside i have found is for the night feeds the beeps are a little loud and have woken up my husband in the past... but that's so minor and we live in a bungalow to the kitchen is close to the bedroom.. - Strengths:

I bought one from mothercare in there christmas sale... ive been using it for around 2 months and it is the best perfect temperature and quick and simple to use. My only problem ive had is the chloriene light flashing even after following the manual to stop it, it continued, contacted tommee tippee to find it is a common fualt with the light - Strengths:
