This machine was a dream come true. My little boy is so demanding with feeds and very impaitence. Bottle ready in minutes. So easy to use that its great when you are half asleep in the middle of the night. Alot of people told me I wouldnt even use it. For me I use it constantly and it is a god sent for me and my baby.

I love this product. We used it from birth and it’s a god send in the nights for night feeds. It’s so handy that it’s the right Temperature when it is ready so the baby isn’t waiting long. Can be used for 4oz up to 11 which is perfect too! I love that it dispenses hot water first to help kill bacteria in the formula. Comes in a range of colours and the parts like the filter as easy to get hold of. The filter only lasted about 6/8 weeks in ours but we have hard water where we live which could be why! I used this with my first child and I loved it! Night time feeds were super quick and relaxed due to it making the formula the right temperature and ready to feed to baby. The only downside is cleaning, when I've cleaned it inside just wiping it down the plastic pieces have scratched/cut my hand so can be a little difficult to get into the sides without hurting yourself. Cleaning the filter part is super easy though! Would still recommend - Strengths:

This has come in really helpful with our demand fed baby, you dont have to wait ages for a bottle to cool down or heat up. The filters are fairly pricey when they need changing, I feel you need to clean it more often than the booklet says but that's my own personal preference and i always run milton through it when cleaning. Filter needs to be changed around 3 months at a time, we have this on amazon subscriptions so we get a new filter delivered every 3 months, without having to think about it.
This machine is honestly a life saver! It is the first thing I tell people they need to purchase when pregnant / with newborn.
Our kitchen isn’t big, and the prep machine doesn’t seem to take much space.

The Tommee Tippee perfect prep machine was recommended to me by a friend and since its first use in our house I have never looked back. Easy to operate and keep clean - wipe down the outside and use the cleaning cycle button to clean the inside made it very simple to keep clean. Especially useful when you have a screaming baby ready to feed no need to wait for a kettle to cool just press the button add the formula and feed. Loved this for during the night too as we could make the bottle feed the baby and get back to sleep within 15 minutes ! The only downside is replacing the filter , this needs done every 3 months and a handy warning light illuminates to tell you when it requires changing- however the filters at the moment are £11/12 depending where purchased. This means that within 1 year of bottle feeds another £33/36 is added to the price of the machine through changing the filter. Overall I still think this is a fantastic buy and if I ever have another baby I will definitely use this again.

When I had my first two children, this didn’t exist & I’d have to boil the kettle in the middle of the night. Having gone through that, it really makes you appreciate what a fantastic machine this is. I feed on demand as I know that the minute baby cries, I can make him a bottle with in a few minutes. It is so quick, it is faster than the steriliser.
If you could add a 3oz option, that would stop formula going to waste in the first few weeks but other than that, this machine is great! I’ve only had to change the filter once so far (4 months in).
My baby is happy because he is fed. Such an easy to use machine. Plus it looks good on the worktop - Strengths:

This product is a game changer, and is worth its weight in gold. This produces a bottle of formula at the perfect temperature in a fraction of the time as a traditional method would. The machine is so simple to use with 2 presses of a button, and the filter is easy to change.
I would recommend this to anybody who is formula feeding their baby, it is time saving, convenient and you know that you’ll never have that horrific moment when your baby winces in pain after being given a bottle that hasn’t been cooled adequately.
I can’t fault this product and although it is pricey, it is excellent value for money. The filters can be expensive as you need to buy the Tommee Tippee ones. However it doesn’t need replacing very often.

This is super easy and super convenient to have if your in a rush.
Current guidance states that when preparing a bottle you should use boiled water that has cooled. This works by sending a small shot of hot water and then topping it up with cooler water to get the right temperature. To use this safely and in accordance with current advice it would be best to boil the water before filling the tank. This was too much hassle and you run the risk of the leaving the boiled water in too long exposing it to contamination. - Strengths:

Such a great product to have with a newborn! Makes a bottle in 30 seconds! All you need to do is add the powder and the feed is done. Only reason this isn’t an overall 10 is because it is very expensive but worth it, and also you can only do water at 4onz or above. You can do any less - Strengths:

I got one of these after hearing amazing things, unfortunately, there was a problem with my machine at first but Tommee Tippee has excellent customer service and solved it straight away. I didn't have this when I had my little boy years ago as I didn't see the point, I had a hard time with him and used to get frustrated them first few months trying to juggle everything in the early hours of the morning whilst completely shattered. This time around we had heard good things and thought we would give it a go. There was no stress in the night. We moved it next to the bed with the steriliser full of bottles and in the night we simply pressed a button whilst comforting the baby and then fed her. It took minutes if that and before we knew it we could all go back to sleep again with no traumatised baby and no overly sleep-deprived mum and dad. It was easy to set up and use. We did find the filters dear to buy but we found when she got to around 3/4 months old anyway she was sleeping through the night and we don't require it through the day so didn't really have to buy anymore. - Strengths:

This is top product I would recommend with a baby as it makes your bottles in minutes and it's at all ready to go at the right temperature for your baby. Also it has markers on the side so if theres a problem it will identify it for you and the light will appear so when you need more water or when the filters need changing. Also let me know when the machine got to hot (during the summer). I would say the only negative about this product is the beep is quite loud - Strengths:

I honestly couldn’t be without the perfect prep machine! It’s so quick, efficient and easy to use! Especially at night when you’re tired, there’s no waiting for the cool down with a loud baby! As soon as baby looks hungry the prep machine takes 2 minutes!
The beeps are quite loud (especially at 3am) however there is the night and day machine which I believe doesn’t have the loud beeps!

This machine is perfect for making bottles fast. My little one is a very hungry baby, so having this make up my bottles ready to drink quickly has been a life saver. It only makes bottles from 4ounces up, so it's not great when the baby is drinking less than that. But when they are, it's great. Downside is having to buy replacement filters every 3 months, but ultimately worth it for the time it saves. - Strengths:

Was brought as a present when baby was first born. So easy to prepare bottles and the touch of a button.. literally! It’s a great size, and very aesthetically pleasing. It alerts you when there’s an issue, eg needs more water, new filter, machine is too hot and more.
The machine doesn’t go below 4oz or above 11oz which can be a bit of a pain. The machine also doesn’t respond well to extreme heat spells, the machine over heats and cannot be used until it cools down, which is very annoying.

I originally breastfeed my baby so didn’t initially buy a prep machine as wasn’t needed however our breastfeeding journey did not last and had to use formula. It was taking at least a hour to make a bottle and cool down following the instructions on the formula box. I was told by a friend to get one and I am so glad I did. This machine is a god send! We were gifted one of these so didn’t initially have a filter and had to use the traditional method of boiling a kettle for one night. And that was one night too long!
This machine makes feeding time a doddle, even with a screaming baby in arm at 3am.
The filters can be fiddly but that’s a separate review.
The beeping noises are quite loud, especially in the middle of the night and it would be preferable to the have option to turn the volume down or off completely as the light indicates when it’s ready.
I also find this machine particularly difficult to clean. There are lots of little books and crannys which get milk etc in.
We’ve gone as far as to buy 2 more machines to keep at grandparents houses!
In regards to price, this varies wildly depending on retailer so always best to do a bit of research before buying to make sure you’re getting the best deal. - Strengths:

Love the prep machine. It’s great for making your babies bottles on the quick, especially if you have an impatient baby. Only downsides that I have found to this product is that the beeping noises it makes whilst making the bottles can be quite loud and the filters for it are expensive (but best to stick to the proper ones rather than the cheap ones though). My husband first suggested we get one of these when I was pregnant, we didn't I didn't think it would be useful, flash forward to when baby was here and it was and is the best purchase I have made! We purchased the perfect prep machine from Boots as we got extra points through the parenting club. This machine is a life saver! It makes a bottle at the correct temperature in two minutes, perfect if you have a screaming baby on hand. You can use this machine with any brand of bottle too. Downside is you do need to run a cleaning cycle every 4 ish weeks with white vinegar to ensure no bacteria build up, after this cleaning cycle I found the first few bottles smelt of vinegar so now I dispense the water out for a couple of bottles and have no problems! This has been a total life saver when I first started feeding my little boy, I didn’t always have time to let boiled water cool for his bottle when he was screaming for it!
I found the machine really easy to set up and use and the design is sleek so looks fine in my kitchen work top.

The idea of the prep machine is a good idea. It makes bottles quick and easy. But we found after sometime that the tank where the filter went smelled like a fish tank. Once we soak in vinegar a few times the smell went away. The Loud beep at night can be annoying. - Strengths:
