This is a lovely car seat . It is easy to use and looks comfortable for the baby. The insert is great as my boy was 6lb so I knew it would protect him from moving about too much this and is able to be taken out . It slots easily onto our pushchair with use of the detachable adapters. - Strengths:

We searched forever for the 'Perfect' car seat & eventually we settled on the maxi cosi pebble plus in grey sparkle. I really loved it as it looked comfortable, looked lovely and safe & looked like it had amazing support for a newborn baby.
However... Baby looked squished, she cried whenever we were out in the car, its only recently at 5.5 months & no newborn insert that shes calmed down a little when in it.
i think maxi cosi have padded it out a little too much, i really loved it but baby hated it. - Strengths:

this is my third baby and third different car seat as each time i find them so fiddly and heavy. this car seat is very easy to fit into the car, especially with the 2way fix base. i have it in a lovely bright pink which i love and gets lots of compliments. it has a new born insert which made baby feel nice and secure, we have now removed this and there is plenty of room and doesnt look like she will outgrow it as quickly as my others have previously outgrown their first car seats. - Strengths:

This is a lovely car seat (it matches our pushchair in the colour Sand). It is easy to use and comfortable for the baby. The insert is great for smaller babies to protect them from moving about too much and can be taken out when baby grows bigger. It slots easily onto our pushchair with use of the detachable adapters. - Strengths:

We bought this product as it was the one that fitted out buggy of choice. Having seen the reviews and asked people who have used it I was happy with her choice. Easy to carry, baby feels supported at all times. Nice angle so if baby does fall asleep her heads isn’t coming forward. - Strengths:

To be honest I bought this as I know the brand more than anything so cannot compare to other manufactures. It is I size compliant, very safe with roll bar too. My little girl likes the fact she doesn’t “sink into it “ and is more of a flatter seat than a bucket. However I find it extremely heavy in comparison to others even without the baby in! Also it comes with a canopy in the back which I didn’t realise until a plastic bit fell off with instructions in it. - Strengths:

We’ve used the pebble plus from birth using the pillow insert and at 7 months my little one is now using the seat without the insert. The clips are easy to use when compared to some of the cheaper car seats we tried. I feel that when my baby is in the car seat she is pretty comfortable and didn’t fight us to put her into the seat which she sometimes does when using my mums car seat.
The seat itself is slightly on the heavy bulky side which as she is getting a little older means that I find it quite difficult to carry the baby around in it. I tend to leave the seat in the car and put my baby in and out of it in situ, and this way works really well for us with this seat. I would recommend this to any expectant parents - Strengths:

This car seat is lovely and comfortable for our little girl and completely safe too! The straps are easy to use and no faffing around like our last car seat, just need to pop baby in, clip the straps in and off you go. The seat itself is quite heavy but it’s sturdy and strong so it’s not too bad - Strengths:

We have this car seat for our baby due in January. We are lucky enough to have been given it but, it is a strong and sturdy car seat. Great quality, the padding is very soft and comfortable for baby. Easy to wash as it all comes off. Can be used with isofix base or seat belt which we will be using as we have two cars.
If fits our pram with adaptors which is a massive bonus. It is a little on the heavy side without baby in it but I know it’ll be safe and last a long time. - Strengths:

We bought this after having a silver cross car seat, the Maxi Cosi allows baby to lie quite flat and their head won’t fall forward if they fall asleep. Pebble Plus comes with baby insert for added safety. Love it! - Strengths:

Yes you pay a little more for it but after the safety demo from John Lewis I believe it’s worth every minute. Took a while for my son to get used to it and he screamed the car down till we stopped most journeys but that was not due to the seat! Easy to load in and out of car with the isofix bass and also fits nicely on our silver cross wave with the purchased adapters! -

Absolutely loved our maxi cosi pebble plus. The added insert support our tiny girl when she was first born and once removed she stayed in this until she was one years old. Great sturdy design and my daughter always preferred being in the car as she was so comfortable. Found the car seat was easy to carry and loved that the hood folded away into the seat - Strengths:

My husband and I really love this car seat for our son as it’s incredibly safe and easy to install.
It literally took us 10-15 mins to fully install it in our car and test that it worked. It goes into the ISO base very easily and has a 3 green lights system and a beeper to confirm that it has gone in correctly. It is also very easy to remove; it has a grey press button at the back with allows you to lift the chair away safely.
It also feels sturdy and comfortable. When he was little, our son would be in it with the little insert for infants and now that he’s much bigger he goes without and seems to loving it. It also has a moveable bar that swings around the chair which is a great safety feature when the baby is in the car (it has to be placed upright when he’s in the car and moving) and it’s also gray to carry the seat around when unplugged.
In short a great purchase that will recommend to any parents out there! - Strengths:

Looked at three different car seats and these were the most comfortable looking and the safest of all three. My boys don't have any issues falling asleep or having a drink in it. Easy to fit into the car. Insert extends as your new born grows until they are big enough not to need it. - Strengths:

bought this for my baby due in December, love the design and the extra padding head hugger etc. I think car seats are really over priced compared to what they were 9 years ago when I had my first daughter. slightly better quality these days but not enough to warrant nearly £200 for something you use for 9 months - Strengths:

- Strengths:
Really secure inner made the newborn feel safe and secure
- Weaknesses:
Not quite as soft once the inner is removed for larger baby

Lovely car seat, well designed and I love the padded inner support for the newborn. It made him feel snug, secure and comfy when everything new and scary, especially the scary car. I would say that once the inner was removed (about 4.5 months old in my sons case) the seat does feel a little hard. Having said that he doesn’t seem to mind and regularly falls asleep so he must be comfortable enough. The seat is easy to use and the straps easy to tighten and loosen as required meaning you can check on every journey that your little one is as secure and safe as can be which is by far the most important thing. I like the brand so much I do plan on moving on to their toddle seat in due course of funds allow. So thumbs up to Maxi Cosi, you have a brand follower in me. - Strengths:

I am so glad we got this car seat for my little one! The lie flat position means that she is in a comfy position as opposed to being awkwardly sat up. 9 times out of 10 she's asleep 10 mins after being put in it, she's hugged by the cosy insert and seems to love it! - Strengths:

This car seat totally changed our car journeys!! Previously my baby girl would scream all car journey until we changed to this car seat. It’s super comfortable, great position for baby from birth and although when the newborn head support comes out there is limited support for babies head, I found by this point my little girl could hold her head well and the chest straps provided some support when she was sleeping!! Overall a brilliant car seat and with the iso fix base you can add the next stage up seat easily. - Strengths:

We love our car seat. We have an iso fix base in one car making it very easy to use but we also don’t in the other car and still find it has firm set belt fixtures to keep baby safe and in place!
She always seems very comfy in her seat and never has a grumble being put in!
The only downside really is the good doesn’t come over too far so she isn’t very protected from sunlight glaring in on her.
But all in all we do find it is a very good seat and we are glad to have it! - Strengths:

- Strengths:
Easy to install and compatible with different travel systems
- Weaknesses:
Recline isn't fantastic, very bulky isofix base
- Comfortable

I purchased this seat and the two way base after reading good reviews. It was compatible with our I Candy travel system so if baby fell asleep in the car I could use the car seat on the pram wheels definitely a plus point for quick nip outs to the shop. The seat feels sturdy and the base gives the confidence that the seat is securely fitted.
Negative points though - the base for this seat is Very bulky in comparison to other isofixs on the market, my front seat passenger struggles for space due to the size of the base and seat! The recline on this chair is also not great I much prefer our second seat the Joie I Size as this near enough lays flat much better for baby's spine. I also found that as baby got older around the 6 month mark her head would fall forward when asleep in this chair something I hated and would cause me to stop to readjust her! Ended up buying the two way pearl at 9 months to try and rectify the problem (which it didn't).
The two wy pebble and Pearl only fit the two way base which again is highly annoying as your forced to buy the two way pearl unless you buy a different base for the second stage car seat!
We did have an issue with our base which maxi cosi did fix (for a price as it was 7 days out of warranty period!)
If I was buying a baby carrier now I wouldn't purchase this one two restrictive on second stage car seats to fit the base, baby's head falling forward and not being able to lay flat all negative points for me, I would recommend the Joie ISize and less money for in my opinion a better seat - Strengths:

My boy was only 5lb 7 at birth and didn't fit very well in his car seat no matter how many inserts we tried. I went to Mothercare and tried him in do many car seats at about 3 weeks old and he still didn't fit right in any, until we tried this! He looked snug, secure, and not like there was loads of excess space so he wasn't hunched and his head was secure and not to the side. The only downside is tjat when the insert was removed when he outgrew it there was no head support so we had to buy something which I feel for the price it should come with a head cushion for after. - Strengths:

Very spacious car seat, lovely design and even more practical when you by an isofix base. Makes half the work a lot easier. Amazing support cushion for baby. This is my second pebble plus with baby num2 and we’re very happy with it. Only down side the handle is plastic and we’ve some how scuffed it and when it scuffs it turns a bit white where it’s marked. Would be amazing if the made them with like a leather handle protector:) just an idea plus it would be soft to the touch to hold the handle that way not that the plastic is a bother:) - Strengths:
