This jar of food is so easy to prepare and is one of my daughters favourites!

This is a great meal for any child who is at an advanced weaning stage (it has some lumps). It seems to be one of the more filling meals in the range. My daughter is 9 months and she usually has half a jar of food followed by a small pudding. When I give her half a jar of this food she rarely entertains pudding. It must be very tasty as my daughter is fussy with food but she loves this. It smells ok too (in comparison to some jarred foods that smell awful! It costs around 80p per jar but as i stated that usually does 2-3 meals, which I'd say is reasonable.
The lid is very secure, even after being opened and closed again, we've never had one spill out. It's only downfall is it does take a long time to heat through when placing the jar in boiled water. I'd recommend taking out the required amount and placing into a thin plastic baby bowl then placing the baby bowl in hot water for quicker heating times. - Strengths:

My daughter is very fussy when it comes to meal times. I do have to say cow and gate jars are the best. They have a variety of different flavours and foods to choose from. This one in particular is my daughter's favourite. It's slightly a thicker texture and has lumps in it which is Good for a child of 7 months plus. It's very easy to prepare and meal times are definitely a lot easier. The flavours and smell actually smell amazing too. - Strengths:

I find it good with the range that there is that doesn’t contain milk and this one is my lb favourite. It is really easy to prepare and also store if not all is used.

My little boy who is 8months loves these. He can't get enough at dinner time. He was a prem baby and managed to eat this no bother.
The pieces are a perfect size and easy to swallow.

Great food, I know my baby is getting the nutrition he needs with cow and gate food jars, I just put a jar in a jug of hot water then serve it from the jar. So easy preparation and a healthy diet as included vegetables too which we all know should be included a lot in our babies food diets :) - Strengths:

My son loves these. They're quick and easy. Takes about 2 mins to scoop out into bowl and warm up in microwave. However on the jar it says u can eat hot or cold but prefer to warm up. Would recommend these to any parent with a young child like mine as his really fussy with what he eats!!
