We tested lots of different prams as my husband is disabled and leans on the pram, we found a lot of them tipped when he walked with it but the oyster is very sturdy and doesn't even slightly tip when he pushes it.
I liked that I could change the colour of the pram using the colour packs so was able to buy it before I knew what gender the baby was and then buy colour packs later.
The pram is very easy to put down but once it is down it is quite bulky, it takes up all the room in my boot but that's a compromise I have made in order for my husband to be able to push the pram.

Can be used as a double or single! Easy to push!

    • Weaknesses:

Front wheels sometimes get stuck and will be hard to move the pram.

I bought this pushchair to use with my son and daughter, but mostly to use as a single for my son. I loved the option of buying different colour packs to change the pram up a bit anytime, the fact you weren’t restricted to the one colour was great, it meant it was suitable for both of my children in a matter of seconds just by changing the colour packs over. I used this pram as a double mostly for seafront walks and for trips to the fun fair, for when my daughter would probably tire herself out and not want to walk, and it was so lightweight even with the added chair on the bottom. I would 100% purchase one of these peaks again.

I like the fact that this pushchair has the option to be used as a single and a double however as a double I don’t think it’s that great. With 2 children in it I found it incredibly heavy and difficult to steer. There also isn’t much space between the 2 seats so the child on the bottom looks squashed in.

In full this a great product for two children mine are 14 months and 9 weeks, they are very comfortable for both little ones, easy to clean and easily stored wouldn't recommend for over 1 and half years old depending on weights of children as clearly designed for younger would be under to much strain otherwise also very heavy when being used as a double.

I used an oyster for my lb 4m to 10m and found it very easy to use. I liked that I could easily have him parent or world facing. It's easy to push one handed if necessary. However I did have to carry out a repair on one of the sides as a screw snapped while I was out shopping and the seat was falling to one side.

As a first time Mum buying a pushchair was a daunting experience. I had seen all the comedy sketches of people struggling to put them up and down and didn’t want this. This pushchair is so easy to use and goes up and down in seconds which is great when it’s pouring with rain!
The pushchair itself seems really durable and it is really stylish. I am very pleased with it.

I had this pushchair for my twin girls , loved it and loved the quality and the fact you can change goods etc to suit your mood, I felt my twins outgrew it by 18 months which was my down side of it as the bottom seat is quite cramped for a toddler.

I found this pushchair really hard to push once my little boy grew. It was heavy to get up kurbs and the seat was outgrown by the time he turned 2. Plus points are it is nice to look at. It has a multi level handle for different heights. Big wheels make it easier to push over different terrain. The basket is spacious although not the biggest around. It has a extendable hood which is good as long as they aren't fully laid down

Bought his pram for my first child 2 years ago and used it right up until the birth of our second baby a month ago and now reusing it for our second. Very durable as lasted 2 years with one child now onto the next! Bought as a travel system with carry cot and bought a colour package also. We bought it as part of a deal so very good price.
Possible could be slightly easier to collapse and more compact but we have a large boot so not a massive issue for us. Overall good pram.

We originally had the oyster 2. We had an 18 month old when our 4th baby was born so needed a tandem. It was great for the school run for both children to be comfortable. Easy to put together. The carrycot sometimes was fiddly to fit on the bottom but not a big deal. The basket still has some space for a bag or for some shopping when the carrycot was on bottom too. The handle height was good as my mum is shorter and partner is quite tall so it was good to be able adjust the height.
The fold was easy enough and good you can keep the seat on while folding although quite bulky. The major flaw for me is the wheels. I am using it now for only my youngest who is now 1. The front left wheel especially can be temperamental. When going down a curb the left wheel locks and it can be quite dangerous especially with my other children trying to cross the road.

I find this pram okay, I spent a lot of money but I don’t think I’m general is worth so much but, it’s lasted me nearly a year already and I’m wanting to buy a different one as the front wheels keep buckling.

Love this pram. Very sturdy and easy to push. Love that you can change the hood and apron. And that the seat can be both world and parent facing. Frame is very strong with extendable handles. And even if you don't buy a carry cot this is still perfect for a new born as it lays flat.
  • 4.38/5

Very nice looking buggy that is easy to steer and folds away in seconds. It is quite big when folded down so does take up a lot of room then you have the seat units separate aswell which is quite a big drawback when using 2 seats when out and about and needing to fit it into the car. The overall cost is quite high as everything is bought separate the chassis then the seat units, carry cots and car seats. The you have to buy adaptors separate to fit bits onto the buggy. I would recommend this buggy though.
