BabyStyle Oyster 3 Changing Bag

We received our oyster 3 changing bag with a deal otherwise I’m not sure whether I would have purchased the matching changing bag. The sizing of the bag is my biggest issue along with the lack of compartments. A good changing bag needs to be a decent size and I’m currently struggling to all of my 2 week olds belongings in here, so when he’s bigger and on food and needs toys I will need to purchase a bigger changing bag. Also, in a changing bag you need things to be organised so you can grab stuff quickly when needed, as there are only 2 little side compartments it’s much harder to find things. The bag is a lovely material and good quality however.

I really like this change bag as a practical easy to use every day bag. Inside the large main pocket there is plenty of space for changes of clothes, bottles, purse etc with the two pockets ideal for nappies and wipes. Inside the zip pocket is a small chair mat.

The ending of the bag compliments the rest of the travel system with its matching fabrics and the clips to attach to the frame are perfect and so easy to use and place the bag in a space that’s easy to access when on the move. I kept purse and phone in the bag and feel the inside would benefit from an extra pocket for a mobile or even the outside of the bag would be nice to have a pocket. A clip to store keys within the bag would also be handy.

On the downside when the chair is fully reclined the bag can occasionally catch and I imagine with a larger child in they may take to picking the bag. However the bag does easily fit in the underneath shopping basket .

The handle of the bag is a decent length so if you are carrying as a shoulder bag it is comfortable although an extra padding sleeve like on the seat straps would be handy for the occasional heavy full bag.

It is not the most feminine of bags so if you are looking for a handbag replacement this is not for you but for a large practical baby bag then I would definitely recommend.
