I used the Ovia fertility app, followed by the pregnancy app! These are fab, great for tracking what is going on during your pregnancy and full of concise, relevant information about where you are in your pregnancy. It has an active community where you can ask questions and chat to other women in similar situations to you. I have always received responses to questions and just general chatting about pregnancy! Highly recommend! - Strengths:

This app gives some daily information such as baby stage or some information on a specific topic (such as nutrition or exercise). It also gives you a weekly update of the baby size in comparison to a fruit/veg, Parisian bakery item, obscure animal or fun and games. I like that you can choose which one you wish to see (and can check all of them) although some are definitely obscure.
It also gives and update on baby size and hand and feet each week which is great to see, I love waiting for each week to see each part change and grow.
Although lots of info is given it would be good to be able to search more info and have more interactive parts to perhaps comment and speak with other parents to be. I like using in conjunction with other apps. - Strengths:

During my first pregnancy I was obsessed with this app. Checked it every day for any updates or tips and every week I watched the video of Gina (who in my head was my pregnancy friend). I also used the calendar to add it milestones and appointments, my own data etc etc. Second time round I’ve not used it anywhere near as much but I still like to have a little check every now and then of what’s developing.
The only minor downside is that as an American app some of the info is either irrelevant (but that’s ok I ignore it) or not applicable. Like the food safety standards. This app will tell you you can’t eat certain things when in fact in the UK you can because food standards are higher. - Strengths:

I love this app, I used it first when ttc to track my periods and have kept using it through pregnancy and now for tips with baby. It's totally free, and has a lot of info for during pregnancy that follows along with your gestation. I liked the calender feature to note appoints when baby kicked etc
My favourite would be the comparing baby size with a fruit or toy or animal it was really interesting to see what different things baby was size of
Some of the article and information that pops up on the apps feed is American so some of it isn't relevant but alot of it is still good to think about anyway and I found alot of it still really helped - Strengths:

The Ovia apps have been good for me from period tracking, trying to conceive and then being pregnant. I have found them accurate, useful and informative and have recommended them to friends trying to get pregnant. It’s rare to find a free app which is actually this good. Some of the information is catered to the American pregnant lady but in the whole it doesn’t affect you that much. - Strengths:

Unnecessary healthcare feature

Great detail about baby and mum's development, with extra information about what mum can do for some aches and pains. Development information not dissimilar to other apps which supply more features.
Main focus seems to be about the healthcare feature. Once you've completed the healthcare questionnaire, there seems to be no conclusion or explanation. Furthermore, after answering a question about having not had a previous pregnancy, I still had to answer questions linked to previous pregnancies. - Strengths:

I use a couple of apps and this is one of them. I really like this one especially because of the size comparison with the unusual animals. I also think it has really useful articles and updates on how the baby is developing. Main down side is that it is American so not all is relevant. - Strengths:

After getting a little obsessed and downloading a fair few pregnancy apps, this is the only one I have kept. I love how it updates every day with new information about baby development. The quirky but weird animals for marking the babies size make a welcome change to fruit, although you can choose fruit if you wish, or french pastry or old fashioned toys! They produce lots of nutrition articles which are really useful.
The only downside is that the app is American so some of the medical articles and questions are not relevant.
Overall it's a great fun app to use, I can't wait until next week to see my next cute animal. - Strengths:

I’ve used this app for 3 years now, from trying to conceive, to monitoring the growth of our perfect baby girl. I couldn’t recommend this app enough, the ease of using the app is second to none and I have lots of friends that have been converted over to Ovia by my comments. This is a girls best friend for trying for a baby, and your companion throughout your pregnancy. Perfection. - Strengths:

I downloaded this at 7 weeks pregnant with twins. It’s got lots of information such as hand and footprint comparisons and number of days / weeks / months left in pregnancy. It also has quite a few ‘if you are expecting twins or more, click here’ moments which is great for me as a mum of multiples. If I ever fell pregnant again, I’d use it again. - Strengths:

I haveaybe 3 pregnancy apps, but I use this one everyday it has everything a new mom would want to see in the app.. information, size of baby, different variations of sizes ( i.e. fun games, french bakery, fruits, weird animals) last week my baby was a size of the troll doll. the only downside of the app is that most useful links in the articles are for people from USA.. but well, it's still my favourite. - Strengths:

After using the Ovia Fertility App, I downloaded this as soon as I found out I was pregnant! I mostly used this app at the start of my pregnancy. It was really easy to use and I found it a great way to track symptoms by inputting my data.
Later on in pregnancy, I have stopped inputting data, but still love checking the app for the articles and information on baby's development.
The calendar feature is a great and easy to read way of tracking how many weeks pregnant you are and/or will be in the future on a certain date!
I would definitely recommend this app to friends who are expecting! - Strengths:

I love checking in every week with this app to find out what's happening and how big the baby is. The community section is a bit of fun although I don't find I use it very much. The tips and articles that are shared are really helpful and reassuring too. There's a calendar to record all of your appointments and it would be great if this could sync with another calendar, having to input twice means I don't use this feature of the app at all. - Strengths:

I downloaded several pregnancy apps and this is my favourite so far. It lets you choose a theme to compare your baby's size to fruit, food, animals, even Parisian bakery items! Makes it quite fun. There are new articles posted on your feed pretty much daily about useful subjects such as pregnancy exercise, nutrition, managing cravings. It has a section that asks lots of random questions which isn't that useful and I wasted loads of time on it! You get to nickname your baby and they use that in your feed which is really sweet! You can track symptoms, food, exercise, water intake and more. - Strengths:
