This is a all in one multi vitamin so you dont have to add anything extra. through out pregnancy, it was recommend by my midwife. Its easy to take and although they are pricey you want only the best for you and your unborn baby.
A must for every lady during her pregnancy. I used this product through out my pregnancy too. These tablets are great for the money, as due to only needed to take them once a day they last a long time.
I love knowing that my baby is getting everything he needs.
I will recommend this to a friend.
I have taken these every day throughout my pregnancy so far. I did have several breaks throughout as I’ve been suffering with hyperemesis gravidarium and wasn’t sure whether these vitamins were contributing to the sickness. I’d read about several people that found taking their vitamins in the morning actually made them more nauseous and more likely to vomit. So after speaking to my GP I started taking them at night just before bed, it did help significantly.
The downsides are- the price, some people are put off by how much a they cost but I managed to get them in a 3for2 offer and have enough vitamins to cover the whole of my pregnancy. The taste isn’t great but if you have everything to hand and throw the tablet to the back of your throat and knock it back with juice or something with a bit of taste then it’s tolerable. I don’t get any reflux from the taste of the tablet either. The size of the tablet bothered me at first, especially when I was at my worst with hyperemesis and even breathing would set my gag reflex off. Now I don’t even think about the size and just knock it back.
All in all this is the recommended vitamin and I wouldn’t choose anything different. I do take extra vitamin D, folic acid and magnesium but that’s my personal preference for my own reasons.
I’ve been taking these since we found out we were pregnant and not had any problems day to day. I tend to take them with my dinner as I took them in the morning a couple of times and I felt sick. When I’ve taken them with dinner I’ve had no problem at all.
Been taking since first finding out I was pregnant and my midwife told me I should take folic acid. They are a little pricey but I personally think they’re worth it as you know you’re getting the right amounts of vitamins each day.
I’ve tried incredibly hard to keep a healthy diet throughout pregnancy but it’s not always been easy as I’ve gone off quite a few foods. With these supplements though I’m still getting my dose of daily vitamins. My recent blood tests from the midwife show that my iron levels are higher than they’ve ever been in my life and my vitamin levels are perfect :) I can only put it down to the supplements and generally trying to eat as healthy as I can.
I think that these are the best vitamins for pregnancy. I was using them and I had been given by my midwife. They contain every single vitamin which your body and your baby need.
At my first midwife appointment I was given a sample pack of pregnacare. I had been taking folic acid since before pregnancy but had pretty bad morning sickness and nausea. I started taking pregnacare and within 5 days I was feeling more myself! No more horrid nausea all day long!
My hair and nails had never been better too!
This is my second pregnancy and They have helped me stay off iron tablets plus it’s just one tablet a day so no trying to remember to take multi tablets at different times of the day. Plus gives you all the over important vitamins to help you and the baby x
Although these vitamins are rather large and have a weird taste if left in your mouth too long, i have the comfort of knowing that i am getting everything that i need to be healthy during my pregnancy.
Good vitamins to take and good that it’s all in one tablet and away you no your keep getting vitamins you need when your being sick a lot it’s cost a lot when you have to take them all the pregnancy but would recommend to other mums to be.
I am using pregnacare original during pregnancy and i feel very good. As i was feeling disy at the beginning of my pregnancy and my midwife recommended me to use it, as soon as i started using it i no longer feel tired.
1 product with multiple viatmins and minerals in them.
Weaknesses:
They could be in one of those plastic tubs like most vitamins and minerals.

I have enjoyed using Pregnacare Original tablets so far through out my pregnancy as they are everything I need in one product, so I don't have to buy all different vitamin and mineral tablets.
All of my routine blood tests during pregnancy have come back with perfect levels

I was concerned before my pregnancy that I would have trouble with things like Iron levels etc. I have a few existing medical conditions which already cause problems with anaemia and other deficiencies. I decided to take the Pregnacare Original multivitamins and was really surprised that all of my routine blood tests came back with perfect levels, some even better than before my pregnancy! I would definitely recommend these to everyone, the only negative comment I have is that they were quite large to swallow at the beginning when I was still suffering with morning sickness.
So I started my pregnancy with different brand vitamins and after noticing that my nails changed the shape I realised that it might be due to the vitamins. I the compared 4 diferent brands and realised pregnacare are one of the best on the market. Therefore I changed to pregnacare and my nails improved immediately.
They are great, if you check levels of vitamins and recommended daily allowance they are worth the money!
After getting these free in my Emma's diary welcome pack I decided to purchase them and used all throughout my pregnancy they seemed to of worked fine I can see them being a big big for people that struggle to swallow tablets but it didn't have that problem 2 weeks post partum and I am still taking them to try and reduce hair loss etc
Every time i buy it in boots, isn't cheap.
Tablets contains 19 vitamins and minerals. Have all what i can expect.1 tablets per day with food. Easy and helpful for pregnancy.
The tablet is rather large which isn't great if you are suffering from sickness and gagging

I think this is a great product targeted and marketed for pregnant women. A friend recommended these to me and i managed to get a 3 for 2 offer in Asda. You might be unsure what tablets you can take when you are pregnant but you are instantly reassured by looking at the packaging that everything in this tablet is safe for pregnant women.
All the vitamins you need, recommended by midwives

I took these every day for my entire pregnancy, I don’t know if they actually helped but my son is here & healthy so they didn’t do any harm. They’re not a horrific price as some vitamin tablets can be, & these are the ones recommended by midwives. In fact, you get a free sample of them in with your Bounty pack that you get from the doctors which is where I heard of them so when I finished that, I just bought more. I do believe you can get packets with different amounts in for various prices so you can always buy a smaller pack to try them & see how you get on.
Costs £8 something for a box of 75 tablets which is expensive in my opinion.

I've been buying these since before I was pregnant. I think that they are expensive £8 something for 75 tablets. However, they are really easy to swallow despite their big size and if it's what my baby needs, my baby shall get it.
I took these tablets with my first born and now throughout with my second and had no problems. Helped me feel better in myself knowing I’m getting everything I need to keep myself and my baby healthy. However I do feel they should be a little cheaper as they are taken daily so is costly, especially when your saving for a baby.
I purchased these as soon as I found out I was pregnant - after taking the conceptions tablets. They are easy to swallow and do not leave a nasty after taste.
The only downside would be the price (I tried to get them when they were on offer)
I have been taking them vitamins my last whole pregnancy, and we bit after, this pregnancy im using them too and im going to keep taking them after while breastfeeding.
