This is a great product in theory. I have tried using it for 2 children and neither have slept in it. They always end up in bed with me. The cot is very sturdy and very safe with how it fits to the side of the bed. The idea to have baby sleeping next to you but safely in their own space. I found the edge of the side that unzip is quite hard and uncomfortable. I also found with baby that close we disturbed each other too much. Love the ability to fold away into a reasonable size bag - Strengths:

I wish I had viewed the product before I bought it, it feels flimsy (it’s not) and definitely for short term use.
If it was more sturdy I would have loved this product, ideal for the first 3/4 months - Strengths:

I love the Next2me dream, it has been the perfect first bed for my baby. I love how it can be placed right next to my bed so I can check on my baby and feed him in the night easily. The side goes up and down really quickly and can be done with one hand. The fabric parts come off and can be washed which is good. The wheels only work sideways so it can be slightly hard to wheel around if you were going to move it from room to room( which I have done as I live in a flat so sometimes moved it from the bedroom to the front room). I have read reviews on the mattress being hard but as far as I am aware a harder mattress is safer for a newborn. I love the rocking feature and it helped me get my baby back to sleep in the middle of the night without having to get up. I fount this product much better than a normal Moses basket as I used it right up until my son was 7 months old where as a Moses basket only lasted 6 weeks with my first child before he was too big. - Strengths:

I’ve bought this to make my life easier at night while breastfeeding and that’s definitely what this crib gives you! Is safe, easy and beautiful doesn’t occupy lots of space! - Strengths:

Absolutely love this product. We have a very tall (long) baby girl. If we’d bought a Moses basket, she would have definitely grown out of it very quickly (8 weeks). The crib is spacious, feels sturdy & safe. It can be raised/lowered to different height beds & also set at a gradient which can be great for colicky babies. Can also be changed so it rocks aswell. Love being able to see through the mesh to check on her & the arm (once you get the hang of it) is easy to lower & raise again. The sheets are expensive but you can find cheaper non Chicco options. However really impressed by the Chicco mattress protector, it saves the mattress by collecting “liquid” & enables the sheet to dry quicker so your baby isn’t lying in anything through the night! Really good for sick, dribble or a leaky nappy! This crib has definitely enabled us to have more sleep, it makes it much easier to pop her dummy back in, put a hand by her to settle her or fish her out without too much messing around to feed her. Completely recommend & will be packing it away for any future babies! - Strengths:

It's an amazing cot, best choice of you want to have your baby close to you but don't have to co-sleep. The side can be folded with a click only and you have easy access to your baby throughout the night. Also, it's so easy to move it around the house they we use this for naps during the day in the living room too. You can just wheel it there.
My baby often has spits after feeding, so it's very practical that we can change the height of each side of the bed and we can set any angle we need for him.
It's great that with two easy moves you can get the cot into rocking too.
The net-like side cover is great when your baby loves to push their face against the side of the cot. This way you don't need to worry about their breathing.
The cover can be zipped on and off quickly. - Strengths:

This is a must have with a new baby - it provides a safe place for baby to sleep yet baby is so close to you that you can hold baby’s hand. I had this with both my son and daughter and couldn’t be without it. It makes night feeds super easy because baby is just arm length away. It’s also very stable so I didn’t have to worry about younger siblings leaning over the edge. One of the best features was that with both babies having reflux I could easily keep the crib at an angle to make it both safer and more comfortable when they lay in it. Highly recommend - Strengths:

We bought this next to me as a travel cot for our baby as we travel a lot and it was easy to put together and comes in a handy travel bag. I like this cot as it’s bigger than a snuzpod and Moses basket and I love the anti reflux feature it has which a great idea and incredibly helpful. My baby has silent reflux and needs this. We are thinking of using this full time as he has got too big for the snuzpod now. I would highly recommend to all my family and friends. - Strengths:

Great first bed for your baby and makes you feel extra close being able to lay right next to them and seeing them. Only downside is baby needs more room quickly in our case. Perfect for newborns

We graduated to the next to me crib from my little girls Moses basket when she was about 4 months and she’s still using it at 7.5 months old. The crib has great breathable sides which is fab as my LG tends to squash her face right up to the side of wherever she’s lying.
The mattress for this crib is perfect for babies as it’s firm to the point of hardness. I worried that it may be a little too hard for LG but she’s never shown any issues and sleeps really well on it.
I made the mistake of unzipping the fabric casing to move the crib once... it took me about two days and two fingers ripped to shreds on the zip to get it zipped back up! I also find that the pull down side is a little temperamental and doesn’t pull back up smoothly at all which is important if you’re wanting to put the side back up when your little one is sleeping.
Overall I find the crib to be a great addition and will continue to use it until my LG moves to her own room - Strengths:

Good quality product to look at & handle. Large sleeping space compared to alternatives like cribs/Moses baskets so has longevity compared to them. Nice colour for either gender. Thick, solid mattress. Easy to assemble. Folds down fairly easily for travel and travel bag included. Mechanisms to adjust tilt & height etc easy to use. Securely fastens to bed. Legs fold in for divan fitting but nothing to keep them folded so they spring back against bed base - this is fine though. - Write a review
Description
The Chicco 'Next 2 Me Dream Crib' allows side sleeping, where your baby stays close to you all throughout the night, but without staying in the same bed, as recommended by baby experts.
With Next2Me Dream, your baby can sleep safely in their own crib whilst you can sleep next to them in your own bed, making cuddles and breast feeding easier and comfortable. In this way, your bond will grow stronger and your nights more peaceful. The Next 2 me Dream is an ideal choice for your baby's first bed as they last longer with it being 50% bigger than a standard moses basket.
Great for holidays and staying at Grandparents house, it neatly folds away into a travel bag so baby will feel comfy in their own bed, even when staying away from home. As your baby grows, the Next2Me crib can be slowly moved away from the parents’ bed and used as a normal stand alone crib until approx 6 months or until baby can pull themselves up into an upright position.
Product Features:
