This was a great investment for my family as it fit our baby until he was 6 months old. It’s a good function being able to have it close to the bedside and the drop down side to get to baby easily when needed. It is safe this way as they aren’t able to roll anywhere other than on your bed. You can adjust the height dependent on how tall your bed is, and you can also use it without dropping the side down too when the baby starts to wriggle around more. The only downside is my baby enjoyed being snuggled up during the day that he didn’t enjoy being in the next2me crib from such an early age, I think he felt very small in such a big space so for my next baby I will definitely recommend using a Moses basket first for a month or so until they grow slightly. - Strengths:

This is pricey but worth it. I had one for my first baby and it was a lifesaver. We lived in a small flat for a while so were restricted with space, so this was perfect as it's only small, and we could move it room to room wherever we were. At night I felt so much more relaxed because my baby was within arms reach, right next to my bed, it adjusts to the height you need, and you can zip up the side or keep it down, which again is great for checking on baby. - Strengths:

This is definitely a must have product I’ve used mine with both my boys and it definitely helps with the nighttime feeds. It can be zipped up or zips down with extra closeness to the bed for easier transfer when finishing up for feeds plus you can see your baby easily for more reassurance. Very easy and simple to set up it has adjustable legs which can be changed depending on the height of your bed. You do need to be careful and insure that the flat is secured safely under the mattress as if it’s not there can be a small gap age that the baby could potentially fall through when they begin to move. But if it’s set up correctly it’s brilliant - Strengths:

Was so excited to buy this next to me crib. But I hated it , was hard to put into a small space as the legs wouldn’t stay closed (there’s an option to push the bottom part in). Had a small piece of material sticking up to stop baby rolling out but was very small. Just felt really flimsy and completely unsafe so sent it back - Strengths:

Loved this when my daughter was born, she could be next to me but not in the bed which was a relief for safety reasons. You can unzip the side and access baby next to you or zip up like a cot. Fitter easily next to my bed and looked lovely. Daughter wasn't a fan at the start but eventually grew to like it. Only problem was had to put her in cot as soon as she learnt to stand as easily could fall over in this or fall out. Other than that great item would buy again - Strengths:

Both my little ones slept really well in this crib until they were 6 months. Great size; the adjustable height very convenient and helped with little ones reflux symptoms.
Was very easy to pack and transport when necessary. One side pull down option so handy for easy access to baby when breastfeeding at night. Easy to wash and clean. - Strengths:

I purchased the next to me crib because my newborn was getting too big for his moses basket. Im so happy I did, It makes me more relax knowing he is right by my side & I can see him & check on him easily. Since using the crib, my baby sleeps alot better & settles as soon as you put him in it. The mattress is firm & sturdy, the crib can easily be adjusted to fit different beds. It is easy to put together and also comes with a travel bag just incase you need to take it anywhere with you. - Strengths:

Excellent concept. The fact it inclined is great, as are the feet that turn to fit against bed. Mattress is firm which is reassuring. Only issue is that the small material between bed and crib when side is lowers bends easily. I also find that the baby ends up with his face pressed against it when he wriggles. The material doesn’t look breathable so this is a worry. - Strengths:

I have this next to me crib by my bed for my little baby to sleep in and it is amazing. I feel safe knowing he is sleeping safely but also very close to me so I can keep an eye on him. There is a recliner setting so the crib can be at a slight recline.
It is a perfect sleeping aid before moving him into his crib when he is slightly older. - Strengths:

Overall the next 2 me crib is OK. Baby sleeps well in it now but only since we purchased a softer mattress, the mattress which comes with it is very hard and similar to that of a travel cot which is not ideal for a product which is designed to be slept in every night. I also feel like it’s a bit boring to look at and not as aesthetically pleasing as some of the other bedside cribs on the market. Having said that though the price is not too bad and the size of it is great, my baby is 11 weeks old but very long and looks like he could get at least another few month out of it. It also attaches easily to the bed and feels very safe and secure. I would recommend the product but would also recommend people purchase a more comfortable mattress. - Strengths:

I wanted this next to me crib to enable me to manoeuvre my baby two and from their crib during the night making breastfeeding easier and promoting skin to skin contact.
I love that I can see my baby at night and get to them easily and without much disturbance. It's great for travelling as it just folds down into a very useful carry bag taking up hardly any room.
It secured under your bed which means it feels very stable. Good for when baby gets a bit bigger and starts kicking about. That said I hadn't thought about the implications of getting in and out of bed after birth. I had a cesarean section after 2 natural births and hadn't realised that clambering around and over a cot would be so difficult. As it's fixed it's not too easy to move out of the way when you need the loo or have to get in and out of bed.
Although, that said, the main benefits of this crib and what helped me out hugely was the baby is lying directly next to you so I didn't have to bed over and lift the baby out of a cot or moses basket. Again something I hadn't realised would even be a problem.
I would recommend this crib to anyone pregnant. Its great for feeding during the night and feels as though you are co sleeping with your baby without the added worry that Co sleeping can sometimes bring.

I honestly don’t have anything bad to say about the Chicco Next 2 me ...
it’s been through 3 babies now soon to be 4 (new mattress every time) and the frame is still as sturdy as ever. It is super easily stored away and all covers can be removed and washed (have done multiple times and comes up like new) I wish my little one could of stayed in it a little longer but he’s such a big baby that room ran out quite quickly but I would never replace the memories of being able to fall asleep holding His hand knowing he was safe. - Strengths:

I bought this when I decided to breastfeed and I'm so glad I did. I love being able to keep my baby so close. My bed is a couple of inches too tall for the crib, so it would be handy if there was an extra height setting on the crib. The feet of the crib can be folded to fit next to the bed but the spring in them causes it to open back up if I need to move the crib for any reason, which is a bit inconvenient. However, it is my favourite purchase for my baby. - Strengths:

We got this when I realised I wanted to breastfeed as it would be easier! Our boy slept in it the night he came home from hospital to 7 months old and it’s great! We’ve had the side down the whole time. The material is breathable as outlets son liked to roll a lot this was important to me, it’s sooo strong, I leaned on it every night when getting him out and it’s sturdy too! - Strengths:

We absolutely love our next to me crib , I’ve used it with both of our children and I’m still using it for our son who is 5 months . It’s sturdy and easy to put together . One side lowers so it really helps if your little one is suffering with reflux. My little ones sleep and face me and I can put my hand next to him so he can feel that I’m close by. I’m such a worrier and it really put my mind at rest so we all get a good nights sleep ! One of the best baby products we’ve ever brought ! - Strengths:

This product is amazing. I wish I had known about it with my first. It is set up in about 3 minutes. It's literally next to the bed. You can choose whether to have the mesh up or have it down so you can get to baby easily. If baby doesnt need a feed and just needs settling then you dont even need to get out of bed. The only thing I found was that the mattress was a little hard so we bought a topper to go with it to make it a bit softer. Overall a fantastic product and I would recommend it to everyone. - Strengths:

I purchased this a few months before my due date. I always knew I would buy this even before I was pregnant! It is so easy to assemble and use, and I love the fact that the height is adjustable and can be tilted from one end to help with baby’s reflux. It has fitted comfortable in our not so huge bedroom, and matched the colour scheme perfectly. The one side that can be zipped down is a dream as I can so easily get to my baby without getting out of bed, for night time feeds and cuddles.
The only thing I would say is that it was a bit difficult finding a mobile that would attach, but found a really good “Nuby” one from Argos that has attached even though it took a bit of adjusting. - Strengths:

This Crib was a godsend, it's not something we planned on buying but our newborn was so restless in the beginning, we were constayjumping out of bed to check on her so we went and got a next to me crib, was really easy to put up and you can tilt it which helped with her acid reflux, she seemed to sleep better in it than in her Moses basket and we slept better two being able to see her and hear her breathing so close, we got so much use out of it and only switched her to a cot when she started getting up in her knees, definitely money well spent. - Strengths:

We have used the next2me since birth and I love it, we originally used it with blankets but now we use a sleeping bag and it fits a dream. My little one sleeps really well in his next2me and has plenty of room to kick around. I find it easy to get to him in the night for feeds and to pop his dummy back in if he’s getting restless. There are little tabs where we attached the dream sheep which makes it safe so it can’t fall onto his face. Sullivan is 3 months old and I think I will put the side up soon, I sometimes wake in the morning and his legs are in our bed where he has wriggled around! I would recommend these to anyone from birth and I’m hoping Sullivan will be in it until he is 6 months (or gets to big. - Strengths:

As we were first time parents we didn’t have a clue what we needed to get, but a friend recommended the Chicco next 2 me Cot and I’m so glad we got it as my daughter loves it. She has so much more room in this compared to a Moses basket. She is now 7 months and plenty of room still in it.
I’ve always been scared about co-sleeping and obviously the Safety riskes too so when we found this cot it was perfect, she will still close enough but not actually in bed with us!
It was so easy to put together and also to take down. It comes with a bag too which is perfect when going to stay somewhere. We took the cot with us on our weekend away and it was so easy to pack away and take with us.
I love the feature of putting the side up or down, we currently have the side down but now Amelia on the move alittle more we will likely put the side up soon so she can’t roll into the bed with us. - Strengths:

It's a lovely crib. Loved mainly for my little girl as I needed her not lying flat and it allows you to tilt it so makes it easier if you have a baby with reflux . Love the fact I turn over and can see her right there . Only downside is the fact when pushed up against your bed it makes it a pain to get in and out of bed - Strengths:

We have this crib and at first we used it with the sleepyhead inside as my baby was so diddy but now we use it with just baby in a sleeping bag. Baby feels safe and loves being able to see me easily. Small next to our bed. Sleek smart look to it. Folds down to a travelcot so we brought this on holiday with us and baby felt home comforts. Defo recommend - Strengths:
