Nuby Natural Touch Steriliser Dryer

This is the second steriliser we have purchased, as our other one (by another provider) suddenly stopped working. This steriliser came highly recommended, and it has lived up to this. The drying feature is such a fantastic addition as I did not like that the other one left water in the bottles.
One negative is the descaling. Sterilisers do need descaled regularly, however I find that this one could be descaled every few days as the plate discolours quickly. But, this process is quick and easy.

I have been using this Nuby Natural Touch Steraliser and Dryer & I must say how amazing it is, very quick and easy to use. I use the brand MAM and usually have 5 bottles & 3 dummies at one time. It is a small slim size and very stylish (suits my black kitchen). I put white vinegar in the bottom to descale which I tend to do every 6-7 days. I let it sit for 10 minutes and use an old toothbrush to remove.
It has 3 settings;
sterilize - 5 minutes
sterilize & quick-dry - 5 mins sterilize & 15 mins quick-dry
sterilize & super-dry - 5 mins sterilize & 30 mins super-dry
I find these are not totally correct on mine due to sterilize taking 13 minutes.
It has an on/off switch on the side too. This is not too noisy whilst in use either.

I bought this sterilizer from Mothercare and doubted if I'd made the right decision after reading reviews! However, I can safely say that if you look after it, it will look after you! It's quick to use with the fast dry function and I usually have 5 bottles and 6 dummies going in there at the same time. It's smaller foot print than the Tommy Tippee means I can have it on my kitchen counter alongside other appliances without feeling like it's taking up too much room and matches our decor!
I put vinegar on the metal plate once a month and let it work for about 10 mins before wiping it off. I tried to tip it out in the sink once but managed to get water in the air vents. Had to leave it over night for it to dry out but was working fine again the next day. Aside from that great product and has lasted me 8 months and counting!

We had just had a bog standard steriliser before I purchased this one. It was on sale so thought we would take the plunge. Haven't yet regretted it ....The fact I dont have to put bottles on my side to dry and the steriliser does it for me is a time saver . I'd say no parent shouldn't be without.

I stalked this product for ages before I have in and bought it thinking nothing that sounds that good will be....it is that good I managed to get it on offer in Mothercare and oh my days best buy so far we were in and out of hospital to start with so made packing bags so much easier and less stressful. Only possible downside is that it could be a bit bigger but I'm greedy and want to fit everything in it at once.

Great features. Takes 30 minutes to do the full sterlise and dry. Hold 5 bottles ( I use tomme Tippee and they fit
Only down side it needs to be descaled once a week other than that it’s amazing !

This steriliser is on all the time! It's great and easy to use. It's only drawback is it's a little bit difficult to clean.

Never had a steriliser that blow drys bottles ! I am extremely happy with this as it makes it so much easier when storing bottles away . The only downside would be is that it can’t wash more than 5 bottles a time and when you have a breast pump and breast pump bottles it means you’ve to do another cycle or try to squeeze them in . However I do like that it sterilises and drys it all within an hour or less

I have always liked nuby products it became one of my go to brands. When they bibtoduced a steriliser that could sterilise and dry? Who wouldn't jump at that. (Nothing worse than a night feed and the water left on bottles is dripping all over the counters and on your bare feet!). It was pricey £69.99 from Argos but I didn't see why for that price I'd have any issues. Everything was going okay once I worked out how to use the button settings. And then I noticed it started developing a chalky substance inside even with regular cleaning.
I always put enough water in but then the heat pad started having burn marks develop. Nothing clicks into place with this steriliser so although it's standing and sterilising you could knock it all apart easily and then you could be burned by the water and the steam not to mention the mess.
One day the whole thing sparked up it was so bright and my 5 year old daughter was next to it in the kitchen at the time. Luckily my switchboard went into effect and shutdown the kitchen electrical supply. Ever since that it fizzles when you plug it back in so. i have not been able to use it again *my son is only 5 months old* so we've gone old school and been boiling them *hides face . I wrote to nuby and they wrote back with a Freepost address and instructions on sending it back to get a refund. I'm not pleased with the product but I am pleased with the way nuby dealt with it. Sent it yesterday so still awaiting a refund. I wouldn't recommend it sometimes old school is better.

So far i have only found very narrow necked bottles dont fit in this steriliser. Which is great, quite a few of my larger bottles didnt fit in the microwave one. It's very simple to use. The metal disc that heats the water does scale up quickly, I wipe mine after every use and once a week use a little lemon juice and leave for 30 mins. Then wipe the limescale away. So it's not really that much of an issue if you look after it.
It has 3 settings. 5 min sterilise. 15 min to semi dry and 30 to fully dry. So options to suit any time frame. I've had it for 4 months and think its a great bit of kit.

Great value for money, I haven’t seen a steriliser that has an option to dry the bottles. The only down side is that it doesn’t always completely dry the bottles and it also need descaling frequently.

This is a great product. One that can sterilise and dryer with in one setting. Only downfall is the discolouring of the metal plate at the bottom.

The benefits of this steriliser as well as it’s sleek design is its ability to dry items, particularly useful when sterilising pumping items which must be dry to pump, it really saves time as not waiting to air dry. Very easy to use, large capacity for bottles and pumping equipment and food try for kids and smaller items is very useful. Downside is I am on my second steriliser as my first burnt out which may be a common fault, but was replaced free of charge very quickly by nuby in a very professional manner, so I would be a bit hesitant to leave on whilst out of the house but still a very recommendable product particularly if you like me don’t need to sterilise large amounts due to breast feeding.

This is the best steriliser we have used, the design and layout is fab for fitting everything in. The drying setting is a life saver too, things are cool and ready to use as soon as the cycle has finished. The only down side for me was the limescale build up on the plate - it’s easy to clean just have to do it fairly often.

We love this sterilizer. I have never seen another one that dries as well as sterilizes. The only downfall is that the plate inside that heats the water has discoloured really quickly. Otherwise no complaints at all!!

I bought this product after recommendations from others as my daughter has cystic fibrosis so we need to keep everything sterile and dry. I am so happy I bought it it is a lifesaver it has three different options sterilisation, sterilisation and quick dry(15 mins) and then sterilisation with full dry(30 mins). you can fit tons inside machine and all sorts of different things. I would never ever go back to normal steriliser again.

To start with this steriliser was amazing not only did it sterilise the bottles, but dry them to. After 2 weeks of using and being clean out every time it was used, I found the bottom of the unit was starting to burn out and have a burning smell. Apart from this it is an amazing steriliser being a perfect size and the way it is all lay out inside.

This product has three options - quick sterilise, semi dry and completely dry, which means you can get a bottle sterile quick 3mins if your in a rush or completely dry in 30mins which is great for keeping bottles looking new and not water marked/faded. It is easy to use with plenty of space. The description says suitable for 5bottles but I have sterilised 8bottles and 4dummies with ease. It also fits any bottle to my knowledge! I use MAM bottles with this product. Fantastic!! So easy to use, very practical and doesn’t take up too much space, fits perfectly on my worktop under the cupboard.

I wish I’d had a steriliser like this for my first born! It’s so easy having the bottles dried after they are sterilised so you can just pack them up and go. They are even cool when the cycle finishes so no waiting around. And for times when you can’t wait 35 minutes you can still choose to just sterilise which is quicker. Would definitely recommend to anyone :)

I brought this at the end of 2017. I loved the design and was so excited to use it. when my son was born it was great that it dried the bottles too. After a week the metal plate started to rust i tried cleaning it with descaler (didn't work) then tried vinegar (still did not work) i ended up sending it back to store for a refund.
Also i would not say it was safe especially with having 2 older children who like to climb the kitchen sides. just minutes after i had sterilised bottles my daughter knocked it over a because it just sits on top of the base NO LOCKS she ended up burning her hand.

We've used this for 6 months and had 2 replacement bases in that time due to the heat pad burning and rusting despite following instructions and using the right amount of water required. We use mam bottles and have now started using the microwave to sterilise them as it's quicker and I feel much safer.

A good product to use once you figure out how to use it as was confusing to start with I have found that it keeps burning in the tray you put the water in so have to keep scrubbing it does clean and sterilise and like the drying setting on it

The first time I used the steriliser the heater plate and the bottom burnt which took ages to clean off (well got most of it off!) also it leaks the water put in the bottom so have to put a tea towel underneath it. When it is drying the bottles it is very noisy as if it is vibrating, have to put something heavy on top to quieten it.
The size and shape is great however could get 6 bottles in there if the inside was organised better. Bottle come out dry on the longest setting and doesn’t take too long to do a cycle

I was very excited when I ordered this steriliser, the design is very nice and it fits well in my kitchen. But the 2 drying settings burn the Base making it smell and it sounds like a hair-dryer.

Got this as a gift.. I have it in the black so looks very good and best mate has it in white. It’s very easy to put together and use. Has three functions on it. I usually just use the sterilise and quick dry only takes 15 mins which is perfect but it also has a quick option on it which is only 5 mins.
The only downfall I find is trying to clean the base.. sometimes there is a bit of water still left too.
