Amazing at treating nappy rash. The only issue I had with this is that it gets everywhere, as it's oil based it won't just rub in and has to be washed off properly. Other than that it is the only cream I would use on nappy rash - Strengths:

We had tried various nappy rash creams before we were told about Metanium. I wish we had found this sooner. Within just 24hrs baby’s bottom was much better and within a couple of days his nappy rash had gone completely. - Strengths:

I think I'd literally pay £20 for this cream it worked that well on my daughter's when they were teething! All three daughters have cut their teeth 2 at a time and has made them extremely sore in the nappy area. Used this and within 2-3 days with plenty of nappy free time it was gone! - Strengths:

This is one of the best nappy rash creams we have found. One tube lasts a while. Which is great. The cream seams to come out of the end very easily so you often end up with a large blob of cream on your finger. The yellow colour is useful to see where you have put it. But it stains clothes easily. Overall a good nappy cream.

This stuff is amazing. My daughter rarely suffers nappy rash but when she does this is the first thing I apply. By her next nappy change the nappy rash has dramatically improved if not disappeared. Only nappy cream I will use. - Strengths:

The only negatives are the smell and the staining it causes.
The smell is VERY strong and not very pleasant. Then, there's the staining! Because it's yellow, it stains everything it comes into contact with. I had to throw away numerous baby grows due to getting the cream on them and wouldn't come out despite washing. - Strengths:

Has a distinctive smell almost like paint which is off putting but the positive of it helping relive bad nappy rash outweighs this negative.
The cream itself is really thick so doesn't rub off straight away them nappy is closed like most other barrier creams. I would recommend this product for relieving nappy rash but not for everyday use. - Strengths:

My son has very sensitive skin and needs very frequent nappy changes. If, his bottom does become red or nappy rash spots appear, I apply a very small amount of this for the next couple of nappy changes and you can start to see it making a difference. It works far better at clearing up nappy rash than Sudacrem. I find a little goes a very long way so it really is value for money. The major downsides are that the lid never seems to screw on easily for me and you really do need to screw it on as soon as you have squeezed some out because it seems to start oozing Metanium out of the tube which is very wasteful. You only need a tiny bit of this for it to clear up nappy rash but if you spill it anywhere it stains!

I’ve had this in a box of emergency spares at my dads and I only used it for the first time the other day (at 7 months!) I wish I had discovered it earlier. It is absolutely brilliant. It’s very very thick and a weird yellowish green colour but it seriously knows how to tackle nappy rash! I saw a huge difference after just one application and after 24 hours (about 5 applications) the rash had completely gone.Read more

I never use any other nappy cream, this metanium saved me in times of disparate! My youngest suffered terribly with nappy rash whilst teething and this cleared it up instantly it is very thick and completely covers the affected area, the only downfall is it tends to get everywhere and is hard to clean up, but worth it for the results! - Strengths:

Despite using just cotton wool and water it just didn't clear up so I gave this a go. Unfortunately after just being on Mt little ones skin for an hour it made it red raw and bleed and took the skin off her bottom :-(.
I have previously used this in my job and have never known a reaction like this but please be careful if your little one has sensitive skin.
A tube however lasts for ages and it is used within hopsital for nappy rash so is a trusted brand. It does however stain skin and everything it touches and can leave a yellow tinge for days agyer depsite lots of washing.
The product itself feels ok and only a small amount is needed when it's in use.

Metanium was recommended to me by a mum friend and I now recommend it to others. I use at the first sign of redness on my boys bum and you only need a tiny bit of cream in a thin layer and it creates a barrier to protect the sore bit and regular application will heal it. The colour of the cream is awful though and it's quite oily so you have to wash really well to fully get it off. - Strengths:

A good nappy cream to be applied onto a rash although because of its colour it is very messy and leaves a yellow stain. It also has a strong smell to it.

I discovered this cream 13 yrs ago when my eldest suffered severe nappy rash following an illness. This is the only nappy cream I will use. At the first sign of a sore bum, a couple of nappy changes using metanium and any redness/rash has disappeared.
