This is a good toy. There’s various different modes including a nighttime wind down sleepy time music button. You can add information about your child I.e. name, to the bear or tell the dog your little ones favourite colour. A good feature to encourage social skills. My son has loved his Scout from day one. It’s great that it’s personalised and we’ve even been able to change his favourite things as he grows up. Very good bedtime function too. Only thing that’s a shame is it’s not fully washable. Ours is getting a bit grubby... - Strengths:

My mother bought this toy for my son when he was 5 months old. Since then he has only grown to love it more!! You add your child’s name, favourite colour animal and food and the puppy incorporates this into phrases and songs. My sons face lights up when we bring scout up. It had a phrase button, song button and a nighttime wind down music button. It’s easy to use just squeeze his paws. Setup requires a smartphone or laptop. I would highly recommend this product. It’s the best toy for young babies and I can see it lasting him a long time!!

All my chikdrenhave had one of these and opted to keep then well out of the age range they "need" them. They love that he says their name. All love music to sleep anyway and you can re programme to say new things to keep them enagaged - Strengths:

My sister had one of these when she was a year or two old (8/9 years ago) and I swore that when I had a baby they would have one. So sure enough I bought one for my son on his first Christmas. It’s incredible! You have to use an easy website on your mobile phone to put in your kids name, favourite food and favourite colour. It asks you what age your child is so the songs and games he plays are developmentally appropriate and it connects to your phone through and aux cable and done. My daughter has loves this since she got this when she was 6 months old. She is now almost 2 and a half and sleeps with it every night to the sleepy music which settles her. Now she is older she is able to press the buttons herself. I love the fact that you can personalise it so it says and sings her name. It’s so easy to set up for parents and it can be adjusted to change activities as they grow. It’s fab how it sings songs about the child and how to spell their name etc. Personalisation sand growth as the child grows is excellent. Toddler sets it going himself when sleepy for nap times. Had this for my older 2 children it was great once set up as it could be personalised so it says the child’s name the only downside was the volume. Although most toys you do wish they were a bit quieter I found this one to be too quiet and you can’t always hear it very well (especially with noisy kids racing around) - Strengths:

I bought this for my son a few years ago. It needs plugging into the computer using a lead which gives you the option of putting your child’s name into the pet and also inputting your child’s interests etc. When the buttons are then pressed it plays various songs and incorporates your child’s name when scout talks. The buttons are easy to press and scout also gives different prompts for the child to listen to. It is very soft too and light to move around.

Bought this for my son for his first Christmas he was 3 months old . He is now 9 months old and it's still the one toy that guarantees to put a smile on his face.
I love the fact that you can personalise it to your child's name . Favourite colour favourite food and favourite animal. The songs are also excellent there are so many we do have to change the batteries every couple of months but it's worth it to see my son's face when scout is talking to him. - Strengths:

my daughter has this leapfrog scout pal dog and loves it so much. Her gran dad purchased it for a bargain of 14.99 at b&m bargains. she cuddles it to bed with lullaby bedtime songs. we also customized it to say her name and favourite phrases which is by far the best reaction she has ever shown from a toy. it sings songs and puts her name in. It talks to her as her dad and i would and interacts phrases and teaches her to love. The dog is a great size for her little hands and for her when she grows a little bigger. the soft to stroke and touch fur is of good quality too. over 15 learn activities i would recommend every mum or dad to go get one. - Strengths:

We brought this for our son when he was quite young and it's really grown with him. He loves the different music it plays from sing along songs to bedtime music.
It was a god send to us because we can set it to play 15 minutes of bedtime music and when that's stopped he's usually asleep! He didn't take to any other night time toys. You can programme it to be personalised to your child. Only downside was that my son's name wasn't in the library so it only sings one song that contains his name and that's just spelling it out which he doesn't yet recognise. - Strengths:

We love that you can personalise it so it says their names and uses them as part of their songs.
