Don't know what I'd do without this product. I'm still using it with my 2 year old. Works brilliantly and gives me peace of mind. This product has never let me down and actually helps me sleep knowing I can hear my little one and if anything happens, the alarm is loud enough so I can hear. I think all parents should have this product. I'd recomd it 100% - Strengths:

The Angelcare movement and sound monitor is the perfect gift for any expecting parents.
We purchased this ourselves before our daughter was born and have used this from the first day she was home from the hospital. Without this monitor I wouldn’t be able to sleep as well as I do, this really does give you peace of mind.
My daughter is now 6 months and to this day we haven’t had an false alarms from this monitor unlike some other leading brands.
I would give this product a 10/10.

This product was an excellent purchase which gave me peace of mind and more rest. Seeing that little green light flashing away was a lot more comforting than I ever imagined.
Placing the mat under the mattress and forgetting about it was great. When my son grew it wasn’t quite as sensitive and rarely went off. The little night light was also a great addition.

I love this product, really put a first time paranoid mother's mind at ease. Always worked well for us, has been used up to 18 months. We always found a good connection through the monitors and there were never any disruptions. The downfall to this monitor is that it cannot be used without the movement mat without changing settings. Also if my little boy would've got out of his bed it would bleep really loudly, which I guess proved it works but not so suitable when child gets older. - Strengths:

My girl was born premature and was very ill for a long time in intensive care unit. When she as there everytime she because very ill it started with apnea’s (Pauce I’m breathing for 10 seconds or more) which would set of her alarm and the pediactric doctors got to her quickly.
I was so nervous when it was time to come home that I wouldn’t be able to notice the signs quick enough and bought these monitors! And they where an absolute god send!! Went off a few times and we where able to detect her illnesses very quickly and get the help that was needed!
These are a must have for every parent that feels they need a little extra piece of mind!

This product is easy to assemble and great for peace of mind.
The monitor detects movement from baby or toddlers breathing and will alarm if there is a problem.
The alarm has gone off however when baby has moved to the bottom of the cot.
The cord can be somewhat lengthy and looks a little messy on the floor but comes with a safety feature plastic backing.
I would prefer this product to be designed with a camera for extra safety.

This is an amazing product. I have total piece of mind that my daughter is ok up stairs whilst I'm else where in the house. It's portable and the sound quality is great. The light display gives you the temperature of the room so if it gets too cold in her room I'll pop another blanket on her. I can sleep easier at night with this product ask I know if anything happened to her the alarm would go off and I'd be able to help her. I didn't have this for my first daughter and I really wish I did as I spent many a nights setting my own alarm on my phone so I could wake up and check she was ok. I couldn’t live without this product! I’ve used it since my baby was born and it’s so good for piece of mind. It’s handy that it tells you the temperate of the nursery. The only issue I’ve had (since moving my baby into a cot) is he loves to go right down to one end and the monitor doesn’t pick up movement which means the alarm goes off which sends me into panic every time, I never had this problem when he was in his next to me as it was smaller. I still highly rate this product. It also alarms if it’s too cold or too hot in the nursery which also gives me piece of mind as I panic about the temperature, it doesn’t have a video where you can see the baby however, I believe some of the angle care monitors do, this isn’t a problem for me personally. I love this monitor. Extremely good value for money.

Will go straight to the point. My eldest was born 10 weeks premature and although healthy, he remained very delicate for months after his birth. Several premature children have respiratory problems, which is why nurses recommended a monitor like this. One night, my little one developed a chest infection and stopped breathing while in his cot. The monitor started beeping. The rest is a happy ending that could have not happened. The device gave me peace of mind until he turned 3 and again with my second, years later. It is very reliable. Sensitivity can be adjusted, as well as a number of other features. Can be used without sensor pad or deactivating the movement function or by turning off the sound unit. This product helped me to sleep in the early days of being a new mother. When every part of your mothering instinct wants to watch to make sure your new bundle is sleeping this helps you to relax and sleep when they sleep. The monitor goes off after 20 seconds of no movement. It picks up the tiniest movement of your baby, from their breathing to the slightest wriggle. Trust me, when that alarm goes off you know about it. It also doubles as a monitor and room temperature gage and gives off an alarm if the room it too hot or too cold. It truly is a life saver. We have this and its brilliant! It only cuts in when it detects noise but my goodness it's clear! I have significant hearing loss and was so worried that I wouldn't hear the monitor. This has been brilliant... Not only can you adjust sensitivity and also volume but it lights up much brighter if it's loud noise. This works well for me and I haven't had any problems with hearing my little one.
Both units have mains cable but the parent unit also is also rechargeable so you can carry it around with you from room to room /in the garden with ease.
The menu has temperature alarms too for if the child's room gets too hot or too cold (you can set what you determine a high/low temp)

For a first time parent, i can not recommend this product highly enough. From day time naps to night time, you can put your baby down to sleep with the knowledge that if anything happened, the buzzer would go off with the sensor mat. I love the Angelcare sensor pad, I don't know what I would do without it. Setting it up initially was a bit difficult but once installed where you want it it is so easy to use. The only trouble is remembering to turn the nursery unit off when you pick your baby up otherwise the alarm sounds after 20 seconds. But it is good to know it works! - Strengths:

At first we loved this monitor, it looks great and is easy to use. It shows the room temperature and you can adjust the noise sensitivity on it so that it won't pick up every little thing (like noises from outside the room). The pressure mat goes underneath the mattress in the middle and must be placed on a flat plank/board which is what we did. For the first few weeks of using it was great as we had it in a rocking crib, then when we moved it into the cotbed that's when the problems started. It would start to alarm 3-4times a week whenever our baby decided to roll towards the side of the mattress or wiggle above or below where the Matt was. It is no good if you have a baby that wiggles away from the Matt and it literally gives you a heart attack when it goes off as you think your child isn't breathing. Thankfully each time it has gone off our baby has been perfectly fine. - Strengths:

After reading numerous reviews and looking at lots of different monitors including video ones I decided to opt for this and I’m so glad I did!
It was easy to install both in my babies crib and then cot when she was 6 months.
The monitor is clear and to date we have had no interference at all.
I have had to adjust the sensitivity slightly now and again as I found if my little one rolled/moved to the bottom of her cot it would alarm yet she was fine just a little out of reach of detection.
There are lots of settings on the parent held device which I found tricky and complicated initially but I now know how to change settings with ease so is easy when you know how!
This is an amazing product for parental reassurance and I wouldn’t be without it! I would definitely repurchase again and will continue to use until my child is a lot older! I don’t worry about being downstairs or even out in the garden (the range/signal is great and I can quickly hoover the car or do some gardening knowing my baby is safe and ok).

We love this monitor. Our son very soon decided he was going to sleep on his front and this monitor was the only reason we could sleep instead of lying watching him all night!! It really is great. Only ever had a few false alarms with the sensor pad when he wriggled right up to one end of his cot and lets face it, you’d rather have a false alarm than find it hadn’t worked when it should have. Great that you can chose to deactivate the sensor pad and just use sound monitor. Lots of different settings which come in handy, including a temperature alarm should you want it!
