I bought this monitor a year ago and ever since we have been having charging problem. I bought it from boots and tried to exchange it not long after I bought it but it was out of stock. Recently I had major problems charging and luckily boots had it back in stock and exchanged it for me.
The monitor has definitely improved since we had this a year ago. The quality of the image is very sharp and much better. Also the battery life and charging seems to have had the improvements it needed. Would highly recommend. - Strengths:

This video monitor is so easy to use and has a great picture quality. It’s great that you can get an app that connnrcts to the camera so you can watch little one through your phone. The battery life on the parent console lasts a long time.
Only downside is that the UK bought monitor doesn’t come with the star grip mount so if you need to attach it to the wall it can be quit difficult. - Strengths:

- Strengths:
Easy to set up, great picture, intercom works well
- Weaknesses:
often loses connection and the charging fittings for both the monitor and camera become loose

Initially this worked very well, the picture is clear and the intercom works well. You can rotate the camera and zoom if your baby moves around. However over time the charging fittings became loose and connectivity dips in and out.
Overall its a great product but I feel it could be a little more sturdy even though its just placed in once position. The chargers themselves have nice long leads, so you don't need to worry too much about how close a plug socket is. The thermometer is often very high, and doesn't match that of our room temp, but it could be because we leave our camera on all day and night.

- Weaknesses:
Have to have a WiFi connection

Brilliant sound/picture quality, sends alerts to mobile if sound/motion detected (can be annoying when it's the dog running round like a loon!) Can take stills or video, plays lullaby's and speaker from phone app so parent that's out can still talk to baby. Thinking it may come in even handier when baby is a toddler and the 'silence' happens! - Strengths:

This is not an essential item. We never really used it that often. We were constantly looking in on the baby ourselves! Ha. The design is sleek and it's all well presented but frankly I would save money for something else. - Strengths:
