Overall this is a very good monitor if fully charged it can more or less go all night from about 9pm-7am without running out of battery however I have found on a couple of occasions it has turned itself off in the night but still had charge, this is less than ideal but thankfully our babies bedroom is next to ours - with a little research I have found that it seems to do it after a period of inactivity when not plugged in. The camera is easy to set up however it hasn’t got the best range to look down due to the base I am going to purchase a tilted shelf specifically for this so the camera looks into the cot this is something to think about depending on the room set up. The parent base is very easy to use and navigate round, I would recommend this product. - Strengths:

I loved the fact that I could see my little boy on the monitor when he was sleeping without being in the same room. I did find that the wires were pretty flimsy and the one with the camera broke! This left me with no video camera and with using it less than 4 months I wasn’t impressed. - Strengths:

I was bought this as a gift. It was on offer so a good 35 pounds off from Argos. Love it very easy to install and work out. I wrapped it round the veil I have at the back of the cot so it had full view! Great gadget. - Strengths:

I went for a video monitor as we have a cat and was worried she may try and sneak in if we left doors open and didn’t want to go up at every little noise as he’s quite a light sleeper so would end up disturbing him and this doesn’t disappoint. The screen quality is great night and day and I love the fact it plays lullabies and you can use the microphone to soothe if needs be. The fact you can remotely move the camera around is also a bonus feature as often I haven’t positioned it correctly before leaving the room. The downfalls are that the camera doesn’t last long not being plugged in. The temperature gauge ends on a few degrees and that once the screen has turned off into standby mode after 60 minutes it doesn’t come back on even with noise. - Strengths:

This is a brilliant monitor and it seems to have the best image quality of any monitors I've seen other people using. I and a few friends have admittedly found that various models of Motorola monitors have turned off unexpectedly and sometimes the sound doesn't work so I have to turn it off and on again to make sure the sound is working. But this has happened only 2/3 times, perhaps I am not too fussed as we live in a flat and our baby is in close proximity so we can actually usually hear her anyway. There are a few add ons such as a mic so you can speak to baby in his/her room...works brilliantly or you can remotely turn on some white noise to help soothe baby back to sleep without having to go into their room. We haven't used this feature much but it's handy to have and we may well use it in the future! - Strengths:

This is a good baby monitor but it does have two major faults. One is that it turns itself off sometimes when the battery is still showing 2 bars. No warning, no beeping, just off which is very frustrating especially in the middle of the night. The second fault is the temperature is overstated. Our monitor read 32c when it was hot, whereas the groegg in the room read 24c and we’re more than happy to believe the groegg as we believe the camera is overheating when it is on for over an hour or so because we see the temperature go up.
The picture quality is fantastic and we love the talkback feature and being able to tilt/zoom etc. We just wish the faults weren’t there. 3* - Strengths:

I had a cheaper Motorola but it broke and I went for this model and never looked back. It’s a bit pricey but worth it. The screen quality and sound is amazing and it’s great I can talk to my daughter from the monitor downstairs to her bedroom. - Strengths:

I have found this to be a great monitor as it allows me to see what my daughter is doing without having to enter her room. The night vision is great close up but not brilliant far away. The music function is to loud to play and just woke my daughter up. - Strengths:
