Bought this in the baby sale, really pleased with my buy. The Night light is the perfect brightness, the music is an absolute win for my LG and I like that I can control it from the parent unit. The temperature display was really really helpful in the heat. Can easily talk to baby and picks up noise well, even picked up a helicopter outside. The only downside I've found is that the battery life on the parent unit isn't amazing and can go quite quickly. There is also buttons I'm not sure what they do and haven't needed to use them yet but I'm sure if j read the manual they'd be pretty easy to figure out! - Strengths:

We live in an older cottage and it struggles with signal over 10 metres as we have a thick wall.

I bought this so I could roam around with the parent monitor while my toddler slept. It works great in theory and I find the temperature useful so I can adjust my toddlers sleeping arrangements to suit.
However I have found it struggles to stay linked and makes an annoying bleep! It won't work properly anywhere in our 2 bedroom house. I have had to learn where it can be put to receive the signal which is a little annoying! But overall for the money I spent it does the job. - Strengths:

I have used this product for both my boys.
One - ease of use!
Two- temperature gage that’s handy when you have babies in the summer.
Three - night light you can turn on before entering the room.
Our second little man was so noicy we wanted to put him in his own room at three months.
And with this we did. We keep his door shut and he is on the other side of the house.
No problems with signal even if I am hanging the washing outside on the line.
The only problem with this is we keep it plugged in at night on charge as the battery life isn’t great but I guess if u use it so much like we do then it’s bound to die slowly.
All round great product would love to try a video camera next. - Strengths:

This was my second monitor after buying a video one that broke. This was a third of my original budget for a monitor and by far the better option. It doesn’t have a video monitor on it but it really does pick up every tiny little sound in the room that it’s almost unnecessary to need to see him. I love that i5 also has a built in baby feed alarm for you just in case you sleep in, it has a light you can use to light up babies room from your handset or play music to baby if you choose to. It has many options to choose from actually but I used rarely used them. Fabulous monitor all round, for price range I would 10/10 recommend this product. Best one I’ve used. - Strengths:

This is by far the best baby monitor on the market for value for money. Although video baby monitors are the new thing, this maybe basic in comparison but does exactly what it says on the tin. It has great range allowing me to sit in the garden while still hearing if my Daughter wakes up. It also allows you set alarms for feeding and also note nappy changes and sleeping times. I also love the function allowing me to put a lullaby on from my bedroom without having to get up to my Daughter if she just needs a little comfort. - Strengths:

This monitor has an excellent range, i take it with me when hanging my washing out and baby is napping.
I love the light feature on the unit, we use it as a night light and is bright enough to see (when dummy hunting) but not too bright that hubby can sleep with it on. The nappy/sleep and feeding timer is not something i have used but know many parents especially when newborn like to set alarms for feeding so could come in handy. - Strengths:

Temperature indicator.
- Weaknesses:
Too many buttons!!

Who needs an alarm for nappy changes and feed times? The biggest waste of electric ever!
The only two reasons I like this monitor set is because it indicates the temperature in babies room, making it easier for me to figure out what to dress him in for the night etc, and I like the fact the adult part is portable and holds its charge fairly well.
However mine takes FOREVER to then charge back up!
I do like that when you press any buttons it lights the display up for you to see easier at night.
At The end of the day it is fit for purpose which is for listening to my baby. So overall I am happy as it works! - Strengths:

We brought this monitor a few months before our second baby arrived, after using a BT monitor before which was disappointing.
This monitor is small and easy to use. It has functions for setting alarms for feeds, nappy changes and another one that I haven’t looked into. I don’t use any of these functions but it’s good to have them.
It has a light and a talk button so you can talk to your baby through the monitor.
We love the music button and use it a lot. There are a few different lullabies but we tend to stick to the same one. The volume is really good and we like the option to turn the noise off which is what we do, it then beeps at you when your baby is making a noise..
However it does have a few issues. One being that the connection drops out on a regular basis, which when the volume is off it beeps at you until it re-connects. This sometimes take a while to do so I end up turning it off and leaving it off for a few minutes before turning it back on. This usually fixes it. The other issue is that it doesn’t always alert you to your baby making noises. I don’t know why this happens, luckily my baby is in the next room so I can hear her without the monitor.
It is good for the most part, and I am happy with it. I agree with what others have said about the battery not lasting long but it does alert you to when it’s running low. - Strengths:

Great for the night light and is a good loudness so you can hear the baby loud enough and it's great for speaking through to them as well and for playing the lullabies my daughter fell asleep every night listening to it and price was great too.. would recommend to anyone. - Strengths:

I loved it when i first got it (before baby way born)
Worked really well (when me and my partner were playing with it, that we did way too much) Sadly when baby arrived it kept loosing signal.
Once evening it had lost signal all evening and we had no idea!!
My partner really wanted to get a new one but i really liked this one. After lots of moving it around and trial and error we realised you need to turn it off when you are not using it. We used to have it on all the time.
So now during the day we have it plugged in and turned off and at night we have it unplugged and on. It works like a dream.
Really is a very good clear monitor as long as you don't have it on 24/7. - Strengths:

Great monitors and really handy to have the lights and not just the sound to indicate noise. You can watch tv and go about your housework without worrying about not hearing them.
My only downfall is that sometimes I have heard my son and it spies t pick it up as quick sometimes. With that said it is relatively quick. - Strengths:

I have recently started using this monitor and it is easy to use.To put it on you just hold the standby button in. It also good for the fact it has a light (although it isn’t very bright),plays simple tunes and you can talk through it both ways.
The only problem is it does run out of charge quick.
It also gives you the option of whether to set an alarm for food, nappy changing etc.
The speaker on it is a little quiet (parents part) so it is hard to hear on the monitor. - Strengths:
