I wish I had more of these! I find they stay put far better than disposable ones. Very absorbant and don’t make my nipples feel wet like disposables. Just wish I had more so I don’t have to worry about losing them in the wash.

These are a great buy for someone who wants to help the environment and reuse. Only downside is if you have to use any lanolin cream it makes the pass go manly looking. Price could also be lower. Definitely a better alternative to disposable though.

I found these maternity pads uncomfortable on my stitches after labour, however in regards to width these were the thinnest therefore making them more ideal when doing back to “normal” underwear. I wouldn’t recommend during healing although does the jobs

I buy them, but try just 2 or 3, they don't stay in the place, also the breasts don't breath enough, so I don't use them more.

These breast pads have one sticky piece at the back rendering them useless. They don't stay in place especially when you are hooking and unhooking bra to feed baby.
They are absorbent though but my breasts don't leak a huge amount so I couldn't say if they would leak or not.

I started of using Boots disposable breast pads straight after the birth of my daughter, and although they did the job (and I seem to make a lot of milk) they were itchy and sweaty. These washable ones are so much more comfortable and still absorb any leakages. Although you have to wash them, which is the only down side, they are more gentle and soft against nips that require all the TLC they are get when breastfeeding. I’ve bought a couple packs.

I found that the size of the pad was great but they actually we're really uncomfortable. They didn't absorb as well as other brands and certainly didn't stick to the bra. They were ok as an emergency buy but wouldn't got back to buy normally.

I thought these had good absorbance and are soft. They’re good value for money too. Only downside is that because they don’t stick to your bra so they move out of place sometimes.

If you suffer with breast milk leakage often, then these pads will need changing regularly - meaning 3 pairs isn’t enough before the next wash. They do the job, but have a tendency to slip within a bra due to having no adhesive (a given for an6 reusable pad). The price is good and reflects the product, overall, better for those nursing mums who don’t suffer with loads of leakage and use as more of a safety net,

I bought these washable pads as an alternative to the disposable kind but had to stop using them as even after washing them in my usual powder I found them far too itchy to wear. They left red circles around my nipples and were very uncomfortable. I haven't tried other washable pads so it's possible that the problem isn't specific to the Boots kind and could be due to my skin.

I really love these. I bought about 30 of them. Still using them 6months in. They are great and like the bag that comes with it for washing. Some of them have gone a little bally but as it is concealed in bra I'm not worried. The material is comfortable and doesn't irritate the nipple. Great absorption capacity.

I used these as a back up and wouldn’t buy again. They’re individually wrapped which is good for when you’re out, but they don’t fit well inside any of my nursing bras. They feel crunchy and you can see their outline through thin summery clothes.

I use breast pads mainly to hide the nipples. They get prominent with pumps. I am not very happy with this product. It's so slim that my nipples shows even with pads. The adhesive part is not very sticky, it comes off. They come in individual packing so good in terms of hygiene. Material is gentle to skin. After using lansinoh pads, I itch a lot. No itching with this one.

I was really excited to use washable breast pads, so I could save some money, as the disposable ones were becoming expensive. However, when I have leaked I can feel the milk through the pad, making it uncomfortable to wear and irritating. Also after 4 washes the pads have started to come away from each other making them unusable. Very disappointing.

    • Strengths:

Convinent to use, reusable, value for money

    • Weaknesses:

Irritated my skin, no adhesive to stick to bra, moisture stays in pad and doesn’t absorb well

I was excited to try these reusable breast pads as an alternative to disposable ones for convenience and expense. They were sold as being soft and comfy however I found them quite irritating on the skin and chaffed my skin as when they became moist with breast milk. Milk seemed to sit on the surface and made you feel really damp. They washed well however but I found they leaked more as they had no absorbent material to soak up the milk. I reverted back to the tried and trusted disposable ones.
