This cream is just my personal doctor, don't need to explain why... I just does what they say on package, straight soothing effect helped me allot ,easy apply, you don't need clean up before breastfeeding it's just wonderful.
As a first time mum, I have chosen to exclusively breastfeed my baby. This product has been very helpful whenever my nipples are sore/painful and they heal quite fast. I like the fact that you don’t need to stop the baby from breastfeeding because you’ve applied it on your nipples as it’s safe for the baby.
This was amazing in the first few days of breastfeeding and I'm sure I would have struggled without it. I love that you don't have to remove it before baby feeds and it works quickly!
Love love love!
Now I use it as lip balm and my sister uses it for her eczema! It it brilliant.
Can use even while breastfeeding does not harm baby

When you start breast feeding you are often told that if it hurts you’re doing it wrong.
What I wasn’t told is that some pain and discomfort is actually normal at the beginning. My nipples were sore and scarred by day 4. I assumed it was me and promptly had a lactation consultant come to see me at home. She sent my partner off for lanisoh and the rest is history. 5 months in and we’re still going strong. I still have loads of the ointment left as you don’t need lots so now it’s used for teething rash. It’s great stuff and worth every penny.
I used this nipple cream a lot in the early days of breastfeeding. My baby wasn’t latching quite right at first, but the midwives kept saying it looked like he was latching fine. Needless to say I soon had sore and bleeding nipples. Lanolin saved me a lot of extra pain whilst my baby and I figured out how to do it properly.
You can use this cream before feeds as well as it is safe for the baby to consume. This means it provides a little extra protection whilst the baby is feeding. I then applied it straight after feeds as well, to help soothe.
The cream has a nice smell to it, which isn’t overpowering so it doesn’t put the newborn off feeding.
The only downside is a few of my tops ended up with greasey Marks that I haven’t figured out how to remove.
My mother in law sent me a tube of this when my baby was born. I already had an own brand tube of lanolin but this is far superior. You only need a tiny bit, it provides instant relief, and apart from making your bra greasy once it’s on, it’s on. The only downside is that it is expensive - lasts forever though - and if you do accidentally leave it in a draft or cool place it’s a nightmare to get out the tube!
When my daughter was born I had extremely sore, cracked, bleeding nipples for the first week. I used Lansing ointment following what Heath visitor's advice and it was a real life saver. After a few applications, I saw and felt a difference, and a couple of days later they were completely healed.
The only downside was that it left stains on my clothes, but the soon came off after a few washes.
This nipple cream is by far one of the best nipple creams on the market I have sworn by it for years I tried lots of things when suffering with cracked soar nipples including cabbage leaves but once I tried the lansinoh lanolin nipple cream I never looked back it instantly soothed the pain and the healing time was amazing I will always use this product when breastfeeding and would recommend it to anyone planning on and breastfeeding.
With having problems breastfeeding with my son latching on one side led to cracked bleeding nipples. I tried a few different cream before caving and spending more on this one and I would never use a different one now it's amazing. Safe for you to breastfeed if ur little on decides to feed again. My nipple healed within a day with putting this on.
It is great for any type of dry/damaged skin complaint
Weaknesses:
It is a little expensive, and messy.

This is a lovely, thick cream which I use for everything! It is the best lip balm I've ever owned, but I also use it for nappy rash, dry skin, dribble rashes - I even used it to help heal a burn my son had. It is easy to use and even though it is a little pricey, a tube lasts ages. I'm not convinced any cream can really protect your nipples when you first start breast feeding, but this certainly makes it a little easier and its great that you don't need to wipe it off before the next feed,
All natural with no need to wash off makes it so easy and safe to use with baby
Weaknesses:
If it’s cold, don’t expect it to come out of the tube.

This is my absolute must have for breastfeeding, especially at the beginning. It can be used before and after feeds as well as before pumping so saves your nipples from all the pain and damage that can occur in the early days. No other product compares, lanolin is the only one that you don’t need to wash off before feeding so is ideal for when you are extremely tired and have forgotten if you’ve washed your nipples or not. A little goes a long way so a tube lasts a long time. It’s easy to get out of the tube as long as it is warm. When cold it goes quite hard so is hard to remove from the tube but this is no fault of the brand. Price is also competitive. Would definitely recommend.
I was in a lot of pain at the start of my breast feeding journey until I discovered this amazing cream... It sorted me right out and made feeding bearable again. I was so sore I dreaded cluster feeds and was nearly at the point of crying but once I stayed using this sparingly it helped so much. This really prevented me from giving up on batt feeding so I will always be grateful for that. Miracle cream that I will recommend to everyone... They should give all new mumma a sample of this stuff to go home with from the hospital!
After trying out a few different brands and finding they didn’t really do a lot I tried lansinoh lanolin and loved it! It does what it says on the tin! It feels protective as soon as it’s put on the skin, it’s quite a waxy and thick consistency but I found this reassuring that it would protect my nipples whilst they were in a sensitive state! The product goes a long way so you only need to use a small amount meaning it lasts a long time, I wouldn’t use any other after using this.
Protects, soothes and don’t need to remove the feed

Great product, does exactly what it’s meant to. Perfect for sore nipples, soothes and protects for next feed too. I found I needed to reply again after each feed to ensure I was pain free. I didn’t have cracked nipples so not sure how effective it would be at healing those but definitely works well for soreness! Not too badly priced, worth the extra money than the own branded products I found.
This cream has been literally a lifesaver for me!It is a very soothing thick cream that is perfect for the first few weeks of breastfeeding as it is safe for baby so no need to wash off. Excellent cream, an absolute must have for breastfeeding mums!
Very soothing and works very quickly. It is however very expensive as you only really need it for the first few days until your milk comes in and feeding is easier.
I love this product, I could not have got through breastfeeding both my girls without it, especially in the first few very sore days! It's so soothing, you can fred baby without having to worry about wiping it off. It's such a relief when it's applied and it's not sticky and gooey either. A must have product for anyone thinking of breastfeeding! I'd love a smaller tub though, as I don't feel I got to use it all before I ceased use of it when my nipples got used to breastfeeding. You need such a tiny amount, it spreads far.
I use this product every day when breast feeding my daughter and it is the best cream by far, and is safe for you and for baby. It is very sticky, but i find if it is warmed it can be applied easier.

Great gel. Worked wonders when my baby was first starting to learn how to correctly latch. It really helped to soothe and repair my broken painful skin and also the handiness of not having to wash off before baby’s next feed was a bonus
Use too much and babies latch slips off - so use small amounts.

This works very well as a nipple cream and is a must to have in everyone's hospital bag. As it was very useful in the early days of introducing breast feeding. Especially when newborns latch and long feeding can cause cracked nipples. Only use small amounts as if you use too much I found baby slipped off their latch and that didn't help. £6 a tube well spent.
This product is great. Heals and repairs cracked nipples. Really helped me during early weeks of nursing. I especially liked how I could apply as much as needed throughout the day and not worry about being harmful to my baby boy.
