Joie Juva Car Seat

This is a great car seat if you are on a budget and need something to do the job. It’s very easy to use and the material is great as you can wipe it clean, although due to this it doesn’t make the car seat particularly cosy or soft. However if you purchased a car seat foot muff this would solve that problem.
This car seat can be used as part of a travel system as I use mine with my Joie brisk LX stroller and it’s great. You can also use the car seat with the click fit base with makes it so easy to click in and out of the car.

This car seat is worth every penny for a simple comfortable car seat. My daughter loves it and the car seat cover when putting up the handle is a plus its very elegant yet simple.

Very easy to use and get in and out of the car, with removable support as child gets bigger only down size is its quite weighted before the child is in it.

Love this car seat it light to carry fits into care well sutaible for most cares only con is hood could go back and would need a head support but all in all its good and would buy again.

Amazing quality for the price. Lightweight and easy to fit in the car. We are 4 months in and it still looks practically new. Highly recommend.

Very simple to install into the car and fit baby so long as you have a full understanding of how car seat straps should fit around baby.

I’d say it looks as good as the day we bought it; it’s obviously very robust.

I found this easy to use and strap in to the car.
The straps have become a little harder to use as my daughter has gotten older now 10 months she wriggles about and keeps trying to push the big red button. Love the joie brand and I am currently looking at the next stage up.

My daughter is 17 weeks I like the fact there’s 3 Settings for their seatbelt as she’s premature so she is safe in this and as she gets older we can move the straps up

The car seat over all is good for monney i got a deal on mine my daughter is 4month old and has used since birth its easy to use adjusts simply and has plenty of room my only downfall was that the head rest was to loose and theres no way to tighten it and was to big for a new borns head but fits fine now

I panic bought this when I had my baby unexpectedly 4 weeks before her due date. She was so tiny! The original car seat I got absolutely swamped her. I got this one on the advice of a rep at toys r us as she says it’s one of the smallest they do. Fit perfectly and was extremely easy to use! The straps are a bit of a pain to fasten but it’s nice and lightweight and at £40 it’s a bargain!

Been using this car seat for 6 months now, I didn't expect too much for the price but it's definitely worth it. The hood doesn't stay up properly but that hasn't really been a problem. There isn't much support for newborns but I bought a new insert to make it more comfortable and it's still cheaper than most car seats on the market.
It's easy to fit in the car with a seat belt and I'm confident that my baby is safe.

I felt stuck trying to find something that wasn't over priced to bring my little one home in. Wasn't overly keen on the design as it felt blocky. However, it fit well into the car and with ease. Was relieved to find this product. Only thing I would have liked is maybe more of a variety of colours. But was a good item for the time I needed it for.

Firstly I really like this car seat now my daughter is a few months old it’s a breeze to use but I struggled with correctly seating her as she was a small (7lb7oz but short) little lass, with a full body insert it became a much more secure ride.
I love the 5 point harness this car seat has, it’s always been reassuming to know there was no chance of my daughter slipping sideways in her seat while being smaller than average. A bonus aswell is the single pull strap that is just under the release buckle, you can pull with one hand an secure babies shoulders and waist straps with great ease, there’s also a release ‘button’ just under the flap of fabric it leads out of.

Very simple to buckle this car seat in and I’m left feeling confident it’s not going to slip or move should an accident occur.

One big downside for myself was halting to unpop the hood when putting in baby as it does not slid back like most are able to

Very reliable for a baby, little one looks comfortable as she is always sleeps when travelling in it. Easy to attach to.push chair and easy to clean.

I had this car seat for 3 of my children when they where newborn it’s such a great thing to have the only problem I had with this one is the hood doesn’t quite keep the sun out of babies eyes but altogether perfect

I think this is a very good car seat although when my baby was first born her head looked really uncomfortable when sleeping, easy to use and great for the price.

This is a good product. Easy to clip into cars can buy adaptors to go with it. Bit heavy when carrying around and clips get stuck easily but my 12 week old falls asleep every time he is in it.

Bought this car seat for my daughter to use from birth, great value car seat only use occasionally as mainly use buggy for travel so was a good buy for sporadic use. Was a bit difficult at first to get the hang of adjusting the straps but now have the knack is easy to use.

We bought this car seat because we are on a budget and don't use our car often due to living in Central London. We liked the option of being able to use it with or without the base. Firstly, because we could save money short term and buy the base a few months down the line when we could afford it (we haven't yet bought the base as it works great without it so we are saving the money for her next car seat when she outgrows this one) and secondly because our parents' cars don't have the fixings for the base, so we needed to be able to use it in their cars too.
I like that it came with the newborn insert as standard, and by adjusting the handle it turns into a seat which you can put on the floor and rock, which is great for when we are visiting friends and family.
I also like that it comes with a hood, which attaches with poppers on the side. However, it doesn't retract, so in order to not have the hood over you have to remove it completely, which has resulted in me misplacing it a number of times, especially when i'm having a baby-brain moment!
The straps are easy to adjust (make sure you practice before getting to the hospital, though, it took us a while to work it out when we all ready to go as we were so tired).
It is also so easy to fit into your car with the belt, my baby looks safe and I presume she is comfortable as she sleeps on every journey! I have marked it down slightly for 'easy to use' and 'design' as the seat belt goes right across the lap, which can make it difficult to get her in and out, unless you take the belt off completely. However, this is my first baby and car seat so i'm unsure if it's the same for all belt-fitted car seats.
I have read reviews that also mention that it can be slotted into certain brands of prams, it doesn't work for ours though, we have an Oyster 2, so I couldn't comment on that.
To summarise, the car seat does the job. It is very affordable and is perfect for those who don't use the car everyday, or to use as a spare for other people's cars. If you use the car everyday it might be worth investing in the base for ease of use. But I am very pleased with it for the low price of £40 we paid for it at Mothercare!

We bought this car seat temporarily. It is practical, easy to use , good price but I feel my baby is not %100 comfortable in it. But still good to purchase for grandpa car etc.

We bought this for a trip to America as we didn't want to take the seat for our expensive travel system in case it was ruined in transit. Impressed as the seat works well and is very light and easy to use. It is fairly reclined so our nosey 8 month old did get a bit upset if awake but was fine sleeping in it.

Nice affordable car seat. Love yhe colour and the extra padding go newborns: Material is easy to clean and dry. Only tint issue we had was the hood because the only way to put it down was to take it off.

Very nice product only fault is adjusting straps etc , this is a very light car seat I've had 4 kids and haven't found one that has been as light as this when holding a baby inside , easy to fix into car great design lovely product
