Redsbaby JIVE2 Pushchair and Second Seat

Great value product. I did buy the jive 2 when on offer. I got single pushchair, second seat, carrycot & accessory pack. stylish and tough fabrics the big back wheels make it easy to push and manoeuvre. I love it but it's a bit of a fuss taking apart to get into my boot. Although it is quite compact when down .I have had from new-borns in the carrycot to 1st seat and my 3 year old in the second seat .only downfall is second seat is fixed upright n not as much room when as 2 seats .with carrycot it had spacers so was lovely .my little one had 5 months + in the carrycot and carrycot is usable as a sleep over bed .buckles are a bit stiff and fiddly but once you get the knack it's fine. Footmuff is lovely and snug and fixed securely to the seat. I love it!! I just wish they sold the buggy board in the UK which goes with it as my toddler is at the next stage

I received the Jive 2 pushchair to review from consobaby - my first impression when I open the box was very positive as the quality of the material used looks and feels great. It’s pretty straightforward to use. You can have a carry cot attachment or a seat attachment. As your family grows you can have a carrycot with a second seat or a 2 seat configuration. It’s very roomy - I tried it with my 8 month old baby and a very tall 3 yr old ( dad is 6ft 1in so my 3 yr old looks more like a 4 year old).
He was very comfortable in both the upper seat and the lower second seat where the legs extend over the basket. I really liked the handy pockets behind the main seat which make things like keys, wallet, phone and water bottle super within seconds. The pushchair has nice strong wheels with swivel option on from wheels. The only thing is that I would have preferred metal/ aluminium axils on the front wheels to match the silver on the frame. The best thing is that it folds down quite compact for a stroller that can hold 2 children at the same time - the main seat can stay on the frame and the second seat nestled nicely onto the folded pushchair. One thing I would recommend that the company looks into changing is the adapter system.
You have to add and remove the adapters for any double configuration to give the added height on the main seat/ carrycot and these adapters need to be removed when folding down the pushchair which becomes a unnecessary added step for parents especially when loading in and out of a car.
I would recommend Redsbaby to change these adapters - maybe have an inbuilt universal adjustable height adapter which doesn’t have to be removed or changed from one configuration to another. Overall a lovely pushchair at a great price. I highly recommend thing to new parents because as a bonus this pushchair grows with your family!
