First off I love this car seat! My I laws live over an hour and a half away from us & to know he is lying (almost) flat puts our mind at ease for his breathing! It’s got great amounts of padding and he fits in there snuggly. My only criticism is that now he is 14 lbs the whole thing is a lot heavier than our back up seat which doesn’t recline. Because of all the gadgets to make it lie flat it makes it heavier. - Strengths:

We love this car seat. Our baby was born early and when we finally got to take him home he was still only 4lb 3, the car seat padding meant that he didn’t look completely lost in the car seat like we expected. He’s grown into it well and at 6 months old he still has plenty of room. We drove 12 hours to the in-laws house and although we stopped regularly he was so content laying flat in the car seat we just felt safe knowing he was comfy and his airways weren’t at risk. Love the fact can almost lie out little one flat so not squished for long car journeys. Also when little one falls asleep on a journey do not have to disturb him when we get home as take the seat out and lie flat when we get in.
Car seat is quite light too.

Step in the I-level!
Why not go I-size nowadays if there's a new safety regulation.
Great recline feature means being less worried about the little one. One problem being it only just goes to its flattest in our car (Toyota auris) as it brings the legs up quite high against the seat.
Great to have newborn insert to cushion him though he needed it gone before the height they suggest.
Easy to adjust. Button to loosen the straps not most intuitive but easily gotten the hang of. Also now baby is heavier the car seat seems so light!
Great value that isofix also included, and although not compatible with any older seats. But saves you from wondering if you'll actually want the next size up. - Strengths:

We just love our Joie I-level car seat. It’s stylish and practical and very easy to install. We bought the I-level for its lie-flat feature and when we found out we could drive with the lie-flat on, it was great for our baby on those long car journeys and he is more comfortable that way too!Read more
I recommend this car seat to everyone I meet.
The only downside is that you need the isofix base as it doesn’t strap up with a car seatbelt but this makes it much safer and the base is so easy to install that we have moved it many times between our car and the grandparents car in a matter of seconds. My baby boy was born earlier than expected and I felt nervous putting him in a car seat but he looked perfectly comfortable and protected and it has grown perfectly with him. I love the simple design and have found everything on it very user friendly. Car safety is paramount for little ones. This is why i chose the Joie i size level car seat with isofix base. The seat itself i love. Very study, albeit heavy and i love the adjustment lie flat option with the adjustable headlevel. The full 157 degree lie down, meant i need not worry as much when he ws a newborn and being in the seat for long periods unlike other seats. The biggest weakness i would say is the release button on the base for the seat. It is not easy to pull and very difficult if you are not used to lifting weights. My daughter is three months now and loves her car seat! When we find it hard to settle her in the house we can just pop her in her seat make her all snug with a blanket and she’s straight off! We bought this product due to travelling regularly to visit family so she has the ultimate comfort on our travels and we don’t have the worry of her breathing, however we still stop every two /three hours for a break when on a journey. Despite it being quite bulky to carry around, I absolutely love this car seat. I used it for my lb from birth and he was always comfortable, the recline option is fantastic as I wasn't worried about his breathing as much and he always seemed happier. Very easy to use and adjust, I like the button to loosen the straps. My lb did grow out of it at 7 months, but he was in the 91st percentile, so I imagine most babies it would last longer for.

We bought this car seat because we knew we were definitely going to drive a lot whilst baby was really young, so we wanted to make sure she can sleep and breathe comfortably for longer. It is a very well cushioned car seat and keeps baby safely in place without wobbling around. It has the same base as a maxi cosi car seat so we can even use it on our stokke pram, using the maxi cosi adapters.Read more
The car seat comes in a lovely grey colour, has 3positions and it looks and feels expensive. It has a spf50 hood it's fully adjustable and it comes with a newborn insert. I would definitely suggest to try it in your car before you buy it because it does take up a lot of space when baby is lying flat and might not fit smaller models. A negative would be that it is on the heavier side and i struggle to carry it alone. I also struggle to take it out of the car(i usually pass this mission to my husband), although it's not impossible once you get the gist.
My baby sleeps comfortably in it, it is a very practical car sear and albeit expensive, i am really happy with my purchase

This product is quite heavy if you don’t have a lot of strength or are not very strong but I love this chair as it so comfy, so if your pregnant and already have a Child I would not recommend trying to carry it

We chose this carseat as we loved the fact it reclined flat, but in reality we haven't used that feature as much as we thought we would and so I'm not sure it was worth spending the extra money for a carseat with this feature over other isize seats. It is also a very heavy seat which, coupled with the weight of our baby, means that at 7months old it now remains fixed in the car.Read more
That said, we love how padded this seat is (and all other joie seats I think!) - much comfier than other infant seats from different brands that we looked at. Its easy to fasten and adjust, and the green indicators on the isofix make for a clear and reassuring guide that it's installed correctly. We loved this as it clips from the isofix base directly to our pram. You can stretch out the seat so you don't waken the baby and let him sleep while you shop etc. As my baby got older I found it more difficult seemed like he was sliding out tho due to the angle. Quite heavy so I always used my wheels to take baby about places.

We went for this seat for the isofix and the fact is lays flat, both features helped us a lot ensuring our new baby stays safe and comfortable! The seat clips into our pram effortlessly so it makes moving the seat from pram to car so much easier. It is slightly heavy when carry the seat but I don't imagine you would be carrying the seat by hand for extended periods of time.Read more

The seats are well padded and seem comfortable for the babies. The isofix base comes with the seat so no need to buy them separately. A red and green display indicates clearly if the seat is installed correctly.
