First time using one of the bases as this wasn’t a thing the first time around with my other child. Very easy to use and set up. Seems very safe and practical ideal for our family car. Easy enough to remove and replace as my partner and I have a car each. Comfortable too. - Strengths:

This was used for our first car seat for our son. It came as part of a travel system but from what I hear can only be used with a small number of car seats. Overall this is a very good product. It is easy to install, the icons tells you whether or not you installed the base correctly for extra assurance. Removing the car seat from the base is equally hassle free task. It is a good value for money and this base is compatible with various joie car seats, so if you need to change the car seat to a different age group, you might not need to purchase a new base.Read more
The only weakness is that when you put the car seat in, the baby is leaning a little bit forward due to angle of the base. We had this base and it does the job for the price however if you want to know that your baby is comfortable on longer journeys I would chose the new version ‘advanced’ where you can chose from 7 reclining positions.

I could not have done without my isofix base with my second child as it was quick and easy to get to baby in securely and after a section I didn't have to lean over and try and fix a seat belt round the car seat. Being so quick to secure the baby meant I could get the toddler into his car seat quickly too so no screaming with impatience from him. - Strengths:

This base is really good, we have a small car seat and the joie anchor seat too and both are fantastic to put in the car, it just takes the stress of buckling the seats up and you know that the baby is safe when in the car seat. - Strengths:

Very easy to install with indicators to show when it is installed correctly. The only downside is I do struggle to remove it from the car as the clips to release it are stiff and awkward to press. Thankfully we don't do it often! - Strengths:
