I was given this book at the start of my pregnancy. It is written is a very easy to understand, lighthearted but informative style. Clemmie is a midwife so information is all relevant and correct. I like the way that it is broken down into sections and chapter that can be read during each stage of pregnancy. This book gives a lot of important and relevant information without overloading you with facts and numbers. The different colors and images on the pages also makes it easier to read than a while page full of text. I shall be purchasing Clemmie Hoopers' book as a gift for any of my friends who are expecting in the future, as I have found it to be so helpful. - Strengths:

A really easy read outlining all you need to know from early pregnancy through to delivery. Everything is explained in a clear way and is non judgemental to how you may be planning on delivering your baby...all about the facts. It was great and there are some funny parts to the book. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and passed it onto a friend. You can read in one go or read alongside how many weeks you are - Strengths:

I found Clemmie's book late in pregnancy after reading everything I could get my hands on. She has a fabulous realistic approach to all stages of pregnancy and birth and exactly what one needs to know. Absolutely enjoyed the book and wish I found it sooner. Strongly recommend it. - Strengths:

This book was amazing during my pregnancy with my first child. I read the book in sections as I reached each new milestone during the pregnancy so it was easy to digest. I particularly liked the non judgemental style of writing and that one particular viewpoint was not pushed onto me such so I could take all of the information and make my own informed decisions. The hint of humour added with the real life stories is a great comfort and particularly relatable now that my baby is here. I will be buying this for my friends who become pregnant as it’s a great great book - Strengths:

This book was an excellent read for a first time, last minute mum. I found out late in my pregnancy I was expecting and needed something to read to calm my nerves and ease me into the world of information surrounding pregnancy and birth.
I very much liked the fact it was no nonsense written by a midwife who was also a mother and was informative in many ways.

A great read for first time mum's. Written by a midwife, this is a no frills approach to what is happening / will happen to you, but written in a fun and light hearted way. Personally, I would prefer some more diagrams as to what little one looks like whilst growing, just for personal interest. Other than that, a great book. - Strengths:

Really like the way the book is laid out. Every chapter has it's own look and feel and it's very visual (loads of illustrations and photos which I love). Really good book to start reading in early pregnancy because it takes you through every stage and all the symptoms and changes that come along with it. This book is definitely a must-have for any mum to be! - Strengths:

I didn't want to buy too many books, read too much and stress myself out so having followed Clemmie on Instagram for a while I decided to purchase her book.
I am so glad I did, it is an easy to read positive book that really covers everything. It doesn't go into great detail over every pregnancy symptom ever, where I imagine other books do, but I like that about it. Sometimes I find focusing too much on everything I could experience is a bit too much.
The book covers all aspects of birth in a very positive way, focusing on active birth. It includes real life accounts from mothers about their own birth experiences which I found really interesting and useful.
I would definitely recommend this book - Strengths:

This was the first thing I bought when I found out I was pregnant but found the information quite vague and soon lost interest in reading it and instead turned to google for the development of my body and baby as each week progressed. -

Love this book. Have been following Mother of Daughters for some time on insta so when I found out I was pregnant I had to buy her book. It's funny in places and is realistic in its approach to explaining everything. Better yet it's written by a mummy/midwife so she really knows her stuff! - Strengths:
