The costume arrived promptly and well packaged, it come with basic instructions on how to prolong its life which I found handy. The costume itself is well made and there was lots of designs to chose from so I was able to get one that complimented my baby well. The sizing I wasn’t too sure of but I used the size guide and trusted that it was correct.. it was! Even though I thought the size it recommended would be too big. Once the suit was wet it was easy enough in coming off although I wouldn’t fancy trying to get it back off after having to change a nappy.

This swimming costume is a must for baby swimming. It does a great job with preventing leaks. It comes in various designs which are cute. However the price is a bit high especially Since baby will outgrow it quite quickly. I started taking my little one to the pool around 12 months but actually bought the 24 month size (she isn’t not a big baby) - she is however still wearing it at 18 months but it’s very tight to get on and off. She is not a chubby baby but I find it to be too tight around the thighs that it leaves marks. I have seen pics of the colour fading but haven’t experienced it myself yet. I would recommend it for the purpose of swimming classes. - Strengths:

The sizing of this costume is true to size where as I find some of the Splash About items come up quite small. I like it because it looks like a normal girls swimming costume, but it has the extra security of the happy nappy style bottom. It’s UPF 50+ so great for holidays and it drys really easily. They say it shouldn’t fade but I have found ours has on the top half, but we have had it a good few months and we swim every week. It doesn’t keep my daughter very warm if the pool is slightly cool so if you have a little one (under 6 months) I would recommend more of a wrap style round the body or a full suit with sleeves

We bought this for our little girl when she started swimming lessons. The costume is a beautiful design and looks lovely on. When getting baby ready it can be a bit tricky to put on as its super tight around the legs. My husband had to hold baby up so I could pull it on but now she can stand holding on this is much easier and we have no problems at all. The price is very fair and you can sometimes get some great deals on them. They certainly will prevent any leaks and I would recommend them.

I got this full costume and the bottom part of the happy nappy too. The full costume is such a pain to put on and my baby just looks so uncomfortable in it. It fits really wrong, the bottom part is super tight - understand that’s the point - but so tight it looks like it’s cutting my baby’s legs and then the top half is really baggy and falls off the shoulders.
I much prefer the happy nappy just the bottom part as it’s easier to get on. - Strengths:

found this very difficult to get on my little girl, not much flex in the neoprene part. Don’t appear very comfortable and small made. The wait band of the nappy part is very tight yes to keep things in but feel it could have been designed better - Strengths:

I really like the happy nappy products,we use these weekly for my daughters swimming lessons. They can be a struggle to get on with a wriggly child but they need to be snug to stop any leaks.
